Diana and Charles wage a media war. The monarchy's role is up for debate. Welcome to the '90s - and Queen Elizabeth II's biggest challenge to date.
very interesting!! Fascinating how they help actors embody their roles so well!! Dialect coaches, movement coaches, and more! teamwork makes the dreamwork!!
wow - the attention to detail behind the scenes is fantastic to see, really helps explain the success of this show :)
Guys you need to stop using the Sims deco mode music for your videos lol
Perhaps you play too much of it
@@FoxyPinkGirl Ahahhaakhakha
@@FoxyPinkGirl we NEVER PLAY TO MUCH!!!
Hahaha 😂😂 the Sims deco music keep looping in my mind after reading this
Talking about room decor and having Sims 3 music in the background feels spot on
Anybody notice it's always music from The SIms in the background lmao
my goodness actors are a completely different person for that period of time...
Not the sims 3 build and buy catalogue music
Is it me or the music in the background is really from The Sims?
wonderfully explained
More interesting and useful info than what they teach you at school
I love that they employed a movement coach. However, I quite dislike how Dominic West moves. It’s clearly deliberate and conscious acts to imitate King Charles whereas the younger actor for Prince Charles looked and felt natural and lived in
I totally agree !
I need to present myself like the Queen!
Have they introduced Jimmy Saville yet into the storyline? He was Charles very good friend, some say best friend.
THIS. IS. AMAZING.
Very interesting!
Diana looks very sharp in this season. In the past one, she was more innocent and relateable…
well diana did become sharp with age in real life too
That’s the point…
That’s a fascinating job!
That's so interesting.
More Polly, please!
'This' is a job too....whoa!!!
Elizabeth Dibecki referred to her in her interview with Stephen Colbert.
So did Olivia Colman on Graham Norton.
If I would be like a king, duke, Lord or an Earl of different names also from Disney’s side of view
Very interesting could be way longer like a dokument only music unnecessary
I don’t understand how The Crown actors aren’t doing an imitation. They are!
I think they mean, when you understand the motivations and inner world of your character that impacts your movement, verses a superficial mimick of what you see on the outside
It's no longer an imitation when you become a character.
Maybe a consideration of dress would’ve been a good idea, when explaining how to others how to walk and move properly in film. - Just Say’n ….🤷🏼♀️
The question is not “how to move like a royal”, it’s why.
...because you're acting on a TV show based on the royal family and you play one of the members of the royal family?
Diana’s signature eye stare is so overused and overacted in season 5 .. they applied it on all of her scenes while in reality, if u watch Diana’s documentaries and videos, u’ll see that she does that eye stare in some situations and in certain emotional statuses, not all time as if she had some kind of mental disability, for me it felt like a parody of Diana most of the time .. BUT the voice, the walk and the styling of the character’s costumes and overall appearance were spot on 👍🏼
It is a parody of her. This movie is not real. If you think otherwise you’re foolish.
yea i noticed that too , its just too much...
maybe also because she's so tall that she's just naturally looking down like that so it seems excessive.
It was lazy acting, using a mannerism to convey character. It's easy but gets to be so annoying eventually.
She did have some mental disability, she was unstable and sick
Polly walks it like she talks it like she stalks it. We should all have a Movement Coach instead of a Personal Trainer.
Looking back. Season one and two are connected to five way more. I love Olivia and Helena but they didn't really fit in the roles.
All actors in Season 5 of The Crown were miscast,
All your commentary is rubbish, Explain away about your attention to detail but in the end Season 5 was a reminder to us that this I was fictional, I thought Debecki was particularly grotesque
hiiii can I get pinned it has been my dream always
📌 📍 🧷 take your pick 😉
Oh sweetheart, find a better dream.
Congrats on being early and finding this comment 🏆
