Yeah true it's not very often you see each movie in a trilogy get better and better each movie. I think Spider-Man did it as well, the third Spider-Man was by far the best with 3 villains in the movie in total it felt really good the way they handled them all in one movie.

Zemo's endgame was to tear the avengers apart by revealing bucky killed tony's parents. But why did it have to happen at the hydra base? After all he destroys the other winter soldiers upon arriving and just waits for tony and cap. It seems totally pointless that Zemo needed to find the hydra base.

I need to see the movie again, but if my memory serves me correctly, I remember Bucky saying "what did I do?" all confused, and then later during the iron man fight he says he remembers everything. What am I missing? Or is this a plot hole?
he said "what did i do?" because zemo activated his brainwashed soldier mind. so everything he did when he was activated, he doesnt remember. and then in the end when hes fighting iron man, iron man says "do you even remember them?" refering to when he murdered iron mans parents, and he replies with "i remember all of them" meaning he remembers everyone hes ever killed while under the control of hydra.
If u really think about it. The whole thing about one guy trying to pit people together is the plot of the movies. Lex was a little murky with the story development but zeemo was an expendable charcater so he felt more complete. But I also do agree that they are totally differnet in a lot of ways. I'm gunna call what part 1 and 2 of infinity war is gunna be. possible spoilers if you haven't read the comics Part 1: Battle when thanos 1st gets the infinity gauntlet and all of the earthbound hero's (hopefully including Adam warlock and silver surfer) battle him and die. And the post credit scene is going to be when nebula gets the infinity gauntlet and turns back time 24 hours prior to all the events that occurred Part 2: Its gunna be the heros' second chance to capture/contain the gauntlet

And I am a wee bit worried for it's success and reception but Thor and Thor : The Dark World explored some extra dimensional stuff as did Ant-Man (albeit briefly) and those stories were not too bad. I get that but DC stands for Detective Comics and well Marvel means to be filled with wonder or astonishment. And Carol is a pretty marvellous character lol. She was Ms.Marvel when she first popped onto the scene back in the 1960's but in the comics she's also actually a Captain. A member of the air-force to be specific. And well as far as her 'Marvel' title goes I think that they should keep it. Captain Marvel is a great character and you shouldn't let her title effect your perception of the property. Even if it is a wee bit cheese-y. Carol Danvers is a great character. She's got some great abilities and can go toe to toe with practically all of the badasses the MCU has to offer. I think if anything Marvel has always been showing a sense of pride in one of their most powerful characters who just so happens to be a woman. (I prefer the modern suit. The red, blue and yellow one. You should check it out. Leagues better that the black one and not as simple as Kamala Khan's.)

I need to see the movie again, but if my memory serves me correctly, I remember Bucky saying "what did I do?" all confused, and then later during the iron man fight he says he remembers everything. What am I missing? Or is this a plot hole?
he said "what did i do?" because zemo activated his brainwashed soldier mind. so everything he did when he was activated, he doesnt remember. and then in the end when hes fighting iron man, iron man says "do you even remember them?" refering to when he murdered iron mans parents, and he replies with "i remember all of them" meaning he remembers everyone hes ever killed while under the control of hydra.
Agent Carter Season 2 made me mad. I thought they were going to do Cloak and Dagger, an opportunity missed me thinks.

Lex was a little murky with the story development but zeemo was an expendable charcater so he felt more complete. But I also do agree that they are totally differnet in a lot of ways. I just thought it wasnt as fresh because BvS came out 3 weeks ago
***** I'll agree that they did have those similarities in plot structure, but in the end it's not like either one copied the other (both went through development at the same time) and Civil War put BvS to absolute shame. Winter Soldier was great but Civil War destroyed it.

Part 1: Battle when thanos 1st gets the infinity gauntlet and all of the earthbound hero's (hopefully including Adam warlock and silver surfer) battle him and die. And the post credit scene is going to be when nebula gets the infinity gauntlet and turns back time 24 hours prior to all the events that occurred
Part 2: Its gunna be the heros' second chance to capture/contain the gauntlet

They shouldn't make a captain marvel film (I hope they don't...just the name sounds stupid! , considering the name Is mixed between the first avengers name > captain America an then the studios name itself) it'll the MCU (for me anyway) ...same with dr.strange just takes it too far out compared to the rest if the characters from the avengers films + civil war they haven't all got magical powers which keeps to the real side of things especially when it's hand to hand combat
+Tom Ramsey I get what you're saying and I respect that but I think Captain Marvel is a great opportunity for Marvel Studios to further explore some parts of their shared universe.
Like, the Guardians for example, show us outer space in a way that Thor doesn't while still establishing what the Universe has to offer. Captain Marvel can do a good job of adding to this.
And when it comes to Dr. Strange, I feel you. And I am a wee bit worried for it's success and reception but Thor and Thor : The Dark World explored some extra dimensional stuff as did Ant-Man (albeit briefly) and those stories were not too bad.
I have faith, especially with the writers Marvel has as the helm.

Captain Marvel is a great character and you shouldn't let her title effect your perception of the property. Even if it is a wee bit cheese-y.
Carol Danvers is a great character. She's got some great abilities and can go toe to toe with practically all of the badasses the MCU has to offer.
I think if anything Marvel has always been showing a sense of pride in one of their most powerful characters who just so happens to be a woman.
(I prefer the modern suit. The red, blue and yellow one. You should check it out. Leagues better that the black one and not as simple as Kamala Khan's.)
