    The script for this amazing film is severely underrated.

    I love these guys, they adapted my favorite character(Cap) on screen perfectly. I remember people use to talk trash about how Cap was lame and by the time of the Avengers they said that he was forgettable compared to how much people loved Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk. Them doing WS showed all of the doubters how great the character really is, and I appreciate them for it. Keep doing the great work, can't wait to see what they do for Infinity War.

    • @josh_rock

      They probably wanted to give it a update since the first costume had mix of military and his iconic costume, but they just ended making it look weird without the blend.

    I'm gonna build a shrine to the Russo Bros someday for Winter Soldier & Civil War, and will build at least a very elaborate altar for Marcus and McFeely too. Thank you for loving and understanding Cap and Bucky the way you do, and for writing the most awesome black superheroes I've ever seen.

    • @Jack-fg2kx
      @Jack-fg2kx 8 років тому

      +redcrest5 Oh really? That's why they said that Bucky needed to be punished and put on ice. Bucky's character progression 0% back where he was. Not to mention when Steve/Bucky relationship was supposed to be center stage. They hardly talk., nver adressed Bucky's problems and guilt that comes with it.

    I really appreciate this interview. This entire time I've been interested in seeing and hearing about the guys who wrote, what is essentially, imo, one of the best film trilogies of all time and definitely what is the best comicbook trilogy of all time.
    Its so interesting to know how loosey-goosey everything seems at the writers table. They talk as though they didn't know, from the very beginning, that they'd be going in this direction (Bucky getting murked in Cap 1 > Bucky coming back in Cap 2 > Bucky killed Tony's parents and Tony finding out Cap 3). I always imagined Marvel had a concrete plan as to where they were going from the very beginning.
    Its nice to know the creative process is so fluid there.
    Thanks for the interview Schnepp and I thank Markus and McFeely for their presence and the discussion.

    These writers are unbelievable in the depth, work and amazing care they've given the characters; not just the major hitters but the minor characters. The Russo Bros and them make such an effort to make sure eddy character has an arc, a stake and something to gain, lose or fight for. And it's nothing short of incredible as it's so easy to have lazy writing, but these guys don't stop until they reach 1000%. You can see it in the care they talk about the film and it makes me so happy every time :) Also, I wanted to say, I still think Zemo is one of my fave MCU villains, and I hope we see him again ❤ Thank You so much for everything guys, here's to Thanos...

      @GiovanniBermudez 8 років тому +2

      +Darren On-Air & VO To be fair, Schnepp was the one dissenting voice in that argument. His opinions here were pretty much the same as in the spoiler reviews. I also found Zemo's role quite interesting.

      @dungeonsdudesdragons 8 років тому

      Giovanni Bermudez I also enjoyed Zemo in the movie. His arc made sense with the bigger picture and was a perfect catalyst for the main fight, but I was mainly referring to their comments from reviews. Not mad, just found it humorous. haha.

    • @Kattungi
      @Kattungi 8 років тому

      +Darren On-Air & VO I have a feeling a quiet villian like Zemo works better the 4th or 5th time you see a movie. I think because there's so much happening in this film already, a plan like his gets overshadowed really fast, especially in the cinema. What do you think?

    • @dungeonsdudesdragons
      @dungeonsdudesdragons 8 років тому

      Asi Kla I completely agree. Zemo's role was solely for driving the plot forward, but if they would have taken out all of his scenes and had Tony discover the BIG REVEAL at the end on his own? Wouldn't have missed him at all. I get why they used him, but the "Villain" for this movie was TeamCap/TeamIronMan and that overshadowed Zemo throughout. He had a terrific performance, but I didn't see him as a threat as much as a burden. Again, he was good in the movie, but not necessary.

    Can we discuss how Captain America intended on killing a young kid in the big fight? Yes Spider-Man has enough super strength to lift that passenger car, but Steve Rogers couldn't have known beforehand. He not only tries to crush that kid, he tries talking about where he grew up 5 secs later like he's surprised the kid survived

    • @Sjono
      @Sjono 8 років тому

      +Jeremy B
      Where could Steve have known Spider-Man was strong enough to lift that? Peter didn't demonstrate any feats of strength in front of him prior to that moment, so there's no way he could've known at that moment.

    • @masterrance
      @masterrance 8 років тому

      While fighting Spidey, Cap noticed how his strength was on par (if not greater than) his own. So him trapping Spidey was no accident.

    • @Sjono
      @Sjono 8 років тому

      +masterrance
      When did Captain America see a full glimpse of Spider-Man's super strength before that moment. Peter didn't perform many fears in front of Steve beforehand that a person of regular strength couldn't perform beforehand.

    • @top10sntributes20
      @top10sntributes20 8 років тому

      +Sjono
      Spider-Man shot two web-strings at Cap's hands and tried to pull him back with his hands. It took all of Cap's strength to resist Spider-Man's pull on him and he still couldn't move. Since Spidey appears to be as strong, if not stronger than him, then he can assume Spidey's strong enough to hold, or at the very least, survive under a passenger car.

    • @Sjono
      @Sjono 8 років тому

      +Top 10s 'N' Tributes
      That's a big stretch to say that maneuver instantly equaled a sign of super strength. All that could've meant to Captain America was that Spider-Man's webbing was strong, not Spider-Man himself. After all the webbing was strong enough to support Peter swinging all over the place.
      It's one thing to say "that this kid's webbing is strong enough to hold me back" to then say "he's clearly strong enough to hold a passenger container."

    At the very end, the guy spoiled that Doctor Strange is going to be in Infinity Wars.

      +Carlos Callejo Well, the eye of Agamoto is probably going to be another infinity stone, and Thanos is going to assemble them all, so not that much of a spoiler, is it?

      +Carlos Callejo did anybody doubt that though?

      Nathan Holstrom honestly, at this point, I think I'd be more surprised to hear that some of the primary and secondary characters in the MCU wouldn't be in Infinity War

      I know.... horrible? You're killing me guys, but damn you wrote some good screenplays so I can forgive. :) At least you DID the research, and it showed!!!

    Does anyone actually like Ant Mans helmet? It's horrible and doesn't fit his suit or body at all.

      +Ryan Gulliver i love it, it could be better but that can be said about anything!

      +Town .City This new one. I liked the first better i guess but this one looks more like it was trying to look like an actual ant head instead of being more practical. The extended snout and the pointy antenna ears is my example. Maybe if they gave it more red to be more flush with the rest of the suit then i'd like it more but it just looks out of place and wack.
