and THIS is why I love jasmine and chris. They respond to constructive criticism and try their best to make changes- and not in a pushy, perfectionist way, but in a "we're doing the best we can for the sake of the environment" kind of way. They could have left out the Jamba Juice worker still producing waste or the ikea guy including the paper boats- but they didn't because they're real people who emphasize progress over perfection. I also appreciate this video and their balanced lifestyles PERIOD. So many are drawn to veganism because the loudest vegan voices on this platform advertise veganism by saying you can eat more for less calories and showing off their abs. That's how I was first exposed to veganism. As someone with an eating disorder trying the be in recovery I feel like I often can't escape the "clean eating" and diet culture that is engrained in some (many) vegan videos. Jasmine and Chris show veganism as what is is and should be- a way to reduce harm and environmental damage with the ability to produce a happier, healthier life. much love

You can also buy the veggie balls frozen at IKEA marketplace to take home. They are great to have to throw into sauces at home!

I was travelling with my partner to Berkely from British Columbia Last month and we were starved and had not eaten for hours and couldn't find a vegan place to eat on the road and then I thought of your video with Carl's Junior. We stopped for the beyond meat burgers and my partner asked how did you know we could find something to eat here, this is great and I jokingly said Jasmine and Chris. Thanks you guys you rock.

I love the Beyond Avocado Tacos. Add Pico and medium sauce, and the'y're perfect. It's so awesome to be able to revisit my old fast food days with that truly authentic taste!
Im a beginner of being a vegan for 5 months already. And i been craving meat ..So in one of ur videos you went to Taco bell, Carl's jr, and subway .i .i decided to try them out . So i went to Taco bell first that was on a Wednesday and order crushed wrap with black beans and i order fresco style and it was so delicious 😍 i got two of them and it got me so full. And on Thursday i went to subway in my location they only had veggie patties and no sourdough bread 🙁 and it was ok. And on Saturday of the same week i did went to Carl's jr. And I got the Beyond Burger and it was delicious but it was too expensive with the meal and pay Iike $10 and some changes. Taco bell was like 7.00 and some changes. I live in California. Thank you so much for ur video's i enjoy watching them .
A little trick for Carl’s Jr. you can choose the cheapest burger they have and ask them to swap out the beef for beyond patty and saves you about 3 dollars!
Also for subway the white and wheat bread are vegan!

These restaurant reviews are so helpful. I travel a lot for work and end up in those hotel food deserts where my only options are fast food, chain restaurants or airports. My goal isn't always to eat junk food, it's just the only options. So grateful for the info.

At Denny's, I get the fit fare skillet without the egg whites. Pretty tasty. I also have them dry fry so they don't add butter or extra oil.

I am so glad you think making these videos are fun because I told my bf "I love watching these videos they are so fun!!" LOL I just have started my plant based lifestyle the first of the year (I love it so far!) but love seeing there are so many options at so many different food chains. I went Ikea for the first time recently and had the same thoughts about their food! And I also brought my reusable utensils and was pleasantly surprised with the low waster experience. I'm even going to have a Ikea veggie ball hero dinner tonight!

BYOC(heese) is a good idea, just like BYOM(ayo) is a good idea for burger places with vegan patties but lack vegan mayo. I hope we don't have to wait much longer for these big franchises to start offering vegan cheese and vegan mayo as options or by default to go with their vegan food. They're big enough to make their own versions if they don't want to use established vegan products like Violife or Vegenaise.
I am a new vegan ( 2 1/2 weeks!) and you guys make being vegan look so good and easy. Love that I found ya'lls channel!

oh def! sometimes on lazy weekends i'll go all the way to ikea brooklyn (i'm in harlem) just to get the meal for lunch (still never tried the veggie dog but i will now!) and a bag of veggie balls, a bag of coffee beans, and their amazing blueberry jam. i'm so glad they're expanding their stuff.
Greens & ginger is my FAVE smoothie! Love the pretzel too. Also I auditioned for American idol when I was younger. They sent me home cause they didn’t think I could physically handle it😩💔😔 but they were prob right ...I was in the middle of a lupus flare. I’m still watching the video now & ur at ikea I HOPE y’all get the sour cream & onion chips 😍😍😍 pure crack! Lol the best ever!

I work at Jamba and I love the greens and ginger it's my fav! Try it with no mango or peach sub pineapples and blueberries, sounds weird but is so good. Also, ask them to wash or sanitize the ginger scoop because it's kept in the same water as sherbet scoops, if you care about that. It takes like 2 seconds to do, we don't mind ☺️

Great video. I think it would be great for both of you to create vegan versions of UK recipes. Remember UK means that the recipes come from 4 individual countries Scotland, England,Wales and Northern Ireland. I think you should come to the UK and do a UK version of a fast food video.

Omg I'm just starting to watch your videos and I work at IKEA! At this specific location, too! This year we launched the new plant balls and have even more vegan options in the Swedish Food Market to purchase and take home, so how about making an updated video soon?? Unfortunately, the restaurant is still closed since May 2020, so that won't be available.
That hot dog was amazing - for the first time order the works how they offer it. Some of the condiments I don't normally get on a dog but I wanted to try it the way it was developed. IT WAS THE BOMB! I wanted to go back and get another! I will have to wait till next visit though. Highly recommend
Chris: "We're not trying to be healthy..." LOL! You both look like healthy vegans to us! We had the Del Taco burrito with beans, without red sauce, sub beyond meat, add french fries. YUM! Planning to try their taco salad with beyond meat sub on our next trip. Also, the Del Taco crunchtada tostada with beans and lettuce is a tasty vegan treat. I love the veggie balls (they’re served with different veggies in Seattle) but I didn’t hear about the hotdog before!
