If I get a blank stare when I say “Vegan” I change it to “strict vegetarian, so no meat, eggs or dairy” and I tend to see the light turn on.
When people try to make you feel bad for doing something that benefits everyone + the environment at no ones expense 🤔
I love how u guys go through uncomfy situations to not use plastic :) it’s awesome and I appreciate it. It inspires me to go out of my way to bring my own containers despite the judgemental people
I hate that they have to feel awkward for doing something good.
Other people make them feel that way because they think everybody should not care, just like themself. Seeing other people do good when you know you’re not doing enough makes people feel bad about themselves.
I've been getting into going zero waste and I haven't seen a lot of other UA-camrs actually showing going in and asking for food to be put in their own containers. I'm always so nervous to ask bc when I ask for no straw people are very confused and look at me weird. Portland is way more chill and like aware of that sort of stuff too which makes it easier But seeing you guys do this makes me less afraid to go in and bring my own containers! Next time I go out I'll try that and hopefully I can start doing it all the time!
Well the Costco workers probably couldn't even eyeball the measurement because of the square container
Some might think they are trying to scam for more so in turn give less

thank you guys for inspiring me to bring my own containers places!! I do it for drinks, like if I get coffee, but I get a little uncomfortable doing it for food because people definitely get thrown off. but honestly a little discomfort is worth stopping that little bit of trash from being made.. love these vids and you two!😊❤️
Next time you go to burgerville, get bbq sauce on the bean burger. Makes it so much better!!

I love your videos! ❤️ These and the taste test videos are my favorite! But I love all your videos :) by the way I love going to Denny’s for a vegan meal. The fit fare skillet with no egg, no cheese, and avocado slices on top is bomb! My fave 🥰
If you guys go to Burgerville again I highly recommend getting the Bliss with fresh local strawberries. They change the shakes seasonally so in July it will be fresh local raspberries and marionberries in Aug. So good! I like the spicy vegan burger and you can always bring your own vegan cheese and they have catsup or mustard if you ask for it. Makes it even better. Love your videos. I am also into low waste and appreciate you guys are too. Bringing your own containers and bamboo utensils works great.

Wafflehouse is soooo hard :/ if I’m with a group of people and they want to go there, all I can do is like a omelette without the egg and a side of hash browns usually
hash browns and add ALL the toppings - onion, jalapeno, mushrooms, etc. I've done it and it's delish! Not like a great option to eat daily - but it'll keep you from feeling 'weird' :)

Your channel is my favorite vegan one on UA-cam. You guys keep it real and accessible and I think that helps more people switch to a vegan diet!! Keep it up

I love your videos. I have started incorporating more vegan options to my diet. I am no where near into being a vegan but I am transitioning slowly. I have been trying new things. Thank you for the inspiration and showing me how easy it can be to be vegan.
It's great that you're transition to being vegan. A vegan whole plants foods diet with the occasional vegan fast or junk food is what I do. A vegan diet will reduce your contribution to climate change. Watch one of the talks by the climate change activist Greta Thunberg that's on UA-cam and Dominion or Earthlings for the ethics and What the Health for the health arguments.

It's a fear tactic the powers who run this planet use to control you. Never believe anything fear based. That said, go vegan. It's just right, but dont do it our of fear

I love all your vlogs and have been a fan for a long time. I felt Chris in this video when they ran out of the impossible burger meat and he felt like he wanted to "cry in public" I've been there!! When I first went vegan, I went on a cruise shortly after with royal Caribbean and they were incredibly accommodating, much like your mother's experience. This was about 5 years ago, and every night the Maitre D came out and would figure out a complete meal for me for the next dinner, from appetizer, to dessert. They even made me a special vegan birthday cake. They also allowed me to have a tour of their allergen friendly kitchen and the behind the scenes of the food on board. So, I think it really is the luck of the draw being a vegan on a cruise. I hope it goes well for you guys on your trip!
Burgervilles in our area are always kind and accommodating. Glad you enjoyed your experience. They like using local ingredients.

This was great! Coincidentally, I had a Qdoba burrito with Impossible crumbles today. It was tasty, but realistic enough that I found it a little unsettling. Btw, I like your new camera, too. :)
in reference to the Costco acai bowls, and the granola specifically, Costco actually has a few kinds of vegan granola they sell in bulk (I believe the brand is Kirkland) and it's actually really tasty! I recommend it to anyone with a Costco membership because it's a good price for the amount that you get

In south jersey we have Pancheros which is akin to chipotle or Q’doba, but they take it a step up by pressing you a fresh tortilla and mixing all of your burrito fillings so you get equal, well incorporated bites. It’s my fave. Their seasoned tofu is 😍

Not sure if you've done it before, but you guys should do a video where you only eat from food trucks! I was recently in Portland (briefly), but I was amazed at how many there were. We ate at the Falafel truck and it was AMAZING! Best gyros ever!! Just an idea!😀

You guys should check out the Holistic Holiday at Sea cruise! It’s all vegan! It’s yearly out of Miami. Usually in Feb or March. It’s pretty awesome!

I used to work at a juice bar and I have those same glass containers- my bowl seemed way smaller when I put it in a reusable container- but I know it was the same amount!

Sadly don't have any of these fast food places near me. However pie5 is 40 minutes away from me and they have an excellent vegan pizza! (Live in a small town) I'm so happy to be able to eat pizza again(I have meat/dairy allergy) ! Hopefully in the future you guys can go there, would love to know your thoughts on it.

Check out Stella Taco, I think it's fast food enough. Their vegan mole tacos are bomb! Also, thank you for showing how good Burgerville is. I haven't had them since I was a vegetarian and have never tried their burger, so now I definitely want to try it.
