PS you can have the impossible whopper at Burger King microwaved if you don’t want it cooked on the same grill as their meats! They offered this to us without even asking (we learned about it the second time we went), so it’s cool that they are aware of people’s concerns.
Hi Jasmine & Chris, I didn't know that was an option! Thanks, for informing me. I did have the "Beyond" at Carl's Jr. they didn't even offer that option to me.
I just think it's great that (2) Big Burger Chains offer "Vegan" choices. I went "Vegetarian" in 1994 there were "No Choices" that I knew at that time. So, I had learn to Cook My own. Then in 2016 after, My "Stroke" I completely lost interest in Dairy, which was the "Only" thing from me being "Vegan or Plant based" and now I'm so Happy of the "Choices" now for Us!

Didn't know you could get it microwaved. I'm allergic to meat so I have to be extra careful. Have you tasted it microwaved and if so did it taste the same?
Yes. Ask for the No Broil Impossible Whopper. They ring it up that way and alerts kitchen to prepare it separately from meat.
Sweet Simple Vegan yeah I knew that my mom got one yesterday but they should have another grill for their veggie burger 🍔 no mayo either! Fries at McDonald’s are better
Tiff Prendergast fries at McDonalds aren’t vegan they have dairy in them. I wish they were though cause I use to love McDonalds fries.

It would be soooo sweet if a major pizza chain, like Domino's added vegan cheese and meat substitutes as an option. They've done it in Canada with Panago! 🤞🏼🍕

I know right... once my friend made me take her to dominos cuz they were giving free pizzas and I was so bombed cuz I wanted pizza too and I told them u guys neeeeeed to get some vegan cheese seriously how hard is it to add vegan cheese to ur pizzas. Lol

Please do a full day of food truck eating! Portland has so many vegan options. I recommend the Falafel truck! Best vegan Gyros!!!
Oh, and if you guys ever find yourselves driving through Boise, Idaho, you gotta stop at a little place called Big Bun. They have the Impossible burger with 2 different kinds of vegan cheese and homemade vegan sauce. It is the BOMB! They also have like 20 different vegan Shake flavors. Just FYI, incase you're ever in the area!✌🏻️

I think each Freshii is different in terms of their containers. The one in Raleigh had compostable containers and utensils. Sadly they shut Freshii’s down at that location, but amazingly convenient place for quick vegan options.
Did you guys try Red Robin yet? I love getting the vegan Boca patty there with grilled pineapple & teriyaki sauce. They have bottomloss fries & sweet potato fries! It's SO GOOD.

I’ve had the veggie burger they have on the menu, is that the same lol? Not the beyond patty, it looks like it had vegetables in it. It’s amazing! I’m vegetarian but I do take off the Swiss cheese. I recommended it above it’s amazing.

Dominos Australia is releasing three vegan "beef" pizzas in September. They actually made the beef themselves, which is surprising. So looking forward to it.

In my country dominos have vegan pizza burger, I think it's the same thing.
It's really good and so flavorful (but a bit dry for my taste).

I tried the impossible burger and I got really paranoid that the cooks were screwing with me or messed up my order.
thats happened to me a few times, having a panic attack that it was actually just the regular whopper.
Yeah I guess if it gets too realistic to meat that is a huge problem. I'm growing to like that seitan taste so maybe that's the way forward, to allow other tastes to grow on ur taste buds

At Denny's, I get the fit fare skillet, no egg, dry fry ( I worry about added butter). It comes with salsa. It is potatoes, mushrooms, onions, broccoli, spinach and peppers. Pretty good.
My husband is a meat eater and loved the impossible burger and could not tell the difference! Love your videos!!! Also your blue blocker glasses, though they won’t hurt your eyes to use them ,there also isn’t any evidence that they help . Your headaches are probably coming from long hours staring at your computer . You just need to take some breaks in between editing .
Here are some suggestions
Sit about 25 inches (arm's length) from the computer screen. Position the screen so you are gazing slightly downward.
Reduce screen glare by using a matte screen filter if needed.
Take regular breaks using the “20-20-20” rule: every 20 minutes, shift your eyes to look at an object at least 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds.
When your eyes feel dry, use artificial tears to refresh them.
Adjust your room lighting and try increasing the contrast on your screen to reduce eye strain.
If you wear contact lenses, give your eyes a break by wearing your glasses.
Freshii is amazing!! So thankful to have them right in the skyway here in Minneapolis!
Since going vegan 5 or 6 years ago, I hardly ever go to fast food (since there aren’t many options without having to alter the menu, and hope it’s made correctly etc etc, it’s just easier to make it myself at home). But my roommate is excited about the impossible burger coming to BK this weekend in our area so we will be trying them out. I love the Beyond Burgers, maybe these will be similar. 🍔🍟🌱

This was great! We have a Freshii here in Flemington NJ. I go once in a while for lunch. Veganizing is easy.
Hi Jasmine & Chris, I used to Work@Burger King there, is only (One) Broiler for Burgers. So, everyone should know it's Cooked in the same Broiler used for Meat. Carl's Jr and Burger King should get a separate "Broilers" for Vegan Burgers.

Piper Tarin I asked at my local Burger King and they said if you ask for it to be made vegan they will cook it in the microwave instead. Cuz I wanted to see if there was a way to get it not cooked in beef juices
If it is a hit I am sure they will. I mean even that radical group PETA is saying to not worry about it. If more and more people eat that whopper just think of all the animals that are not slaughtered.
Just as an FYI you can ask for it to be cooked in the oven to avoid cross contamination instead of on the grill

Speaking of Arby’s , I’m in Columbus, Ohio and there is a new food truck that has made vegan “beef n cheddahs”, curly fries too! They also have a gyro, Rueben, and a cheezesteak! I haven’t had the beer n cheddah yet, but the gyro and Reuben keep me coming back! They just added a loaded curly fry to their menu. All these fast food joints coming for all that vegan money! I related so much to your dad saying no over and over again... lol

Great video ~ got my Impossible mustard whopper today! Microwaved, thanks to your info. It was LEGIT! So good! So excited that I heard the person in front of me and the two people in line behind me (waiting @ the counter for my to go order) also order Impossible burgers (not necessarily whoppers). If it stays this popular, hopefully we can get our own grill separate from the meat grill. :)

potridge Education is key. When he doesn’t know or misinformed, he could only act upon what he knows. So, try watching What the Health (Netflix) with him, then Best Speech You Will Ever Hear by Gary Yourofsky (UA-cam), then Cowspiracy (Netflix), he’d at least understand where you are coming from, and then he could form an informed opinion :) That’s how I got my husband and son to join me from the beginning, and it’s been almost 7 years and still going strong!

Here in Australia, domino has vegan cheese. Hungry jacks has the vegan cheeseburger. Subway veggie patty is vegan. Mad mex has vegan options and so does zambero (probably not spelt right, but its a burrito place.)
Went to Freshii in Quito, Ecuador after being stuck at an airport/in a plane with nothing to eat but peanuts for almost 24 hours. Makes me happy when I see other locations now

My fiancé brought me lunch yesterday and surprised me with the Impossible Whopper. I didn’t realize our local BKs carried it. It’s so great to have options now. It’s crazy how much more accessible veg options are now compared to ten years ago when I stopped eating meat.

You guys should try Chicago's Pizza With A Twist! They have vegan crusts (regular, thin, & deep dish), their red sauce is the only one I know for sure is vegan, daiya cheese, and veggie options! It's my go to for vegan pizza!

I always request a glove change at MOD and Blaze because I don't want cheese and meat particles to end up on my pizza. Blaze also has a special container of sauce they have that they use for people with a dairy allergy. It has a lid on it so cheese doesn't get in it. I believe they also get my spinach from under the counter that hasn't been near the cheese.
Yess they actually did it without us asking! And form our experience, when we do ask they are always down for it

Before I went vegan, my favorite fast food burger was from Five Guys. I wish they’d add an Impossible burger and vegan cheese to their menu. They should also add gluten-free vegan buns while they’re at it.

You guys can go to Monty’s Good Burger in LA. People call them the vegan In & Out.
Expensive_Pink Monty’s is overpriced and honestly pointless, they don’t make anything in house. It’s literally a impossible party with follow your heart cheese, and veganaise. Their shakes are just Trader Joe’s soy vanilla ice cream mixed with syrup~~ and a burger fry and shake comes out to $25

Freshii’s bowls and utensils depend on the location. They use compostable bowls and utensils at my location and they use reusable bowls for their soups if you eat it there. Also fun fact: the plastic bags that they portion their noodles in and sometimes use to bag things are made of corn so they’re completely biodegradable!
I just saw a video where they encourage us to eat plant-based and it mentions this burger, so this is why I finally watched this video 😀😀. I also sent it to my little cousin because I liked the idea of the taking your own tuppers. She is so mindful of conserving the planet, and is only 10 years old 😍😍.
At In N Out I get the veggie burger with peppers grilled onions mustard ketchup and then I put fries inside. Also PizzaRev Has beyond meat sausage and daiya cheese, really good!
I am watching this while eating a tropical green smoothie bowl, that I made with coconut milk! hahaha But I'm wishing I had that burrito ;)
The del taco beyond meat tacos are my addiction, 100% recommended!
Mellow Mushroom has a delicious vegan pizza. I don't remember them when I lived in San Diego, I'm in Clearwater, FL now. But it's phenomenal.

I too had the impossible burger from BK. They do not Serve it vegan you have to ask for it without mayo. I did not enjoy it as you can tell it’s not the same as the impossible burger in the grocery store. The definitely cheaped out on ingredients. The impossible burger from the grocery store that you cook yourself is delicious but very expensive.
It's awesome that you can get in the the grocery store! We have never seen it in stores before.
Just an FYI if you care. I saw that the impossible whopper is grilled on the same char broiler as the meat patties, but as an alternative, you can get the patty microwaved. We didnt know the first time we got it, but we tried it again after we found out and it definitely had a different, but good taste when microwaved.

I am also a smoothie bowl fiend and if you ever come to Portland, OR you have to try the Bowl of the Gods from Kure it's the most delicious smoothie bowl I've ever had and I've eaten a lot. Tastes like the most indulgent healthy dessert.
Keep an eye on the plastic containers you get! While plastics may not be the best thing for food storage, many places are shifting to reusable plastics that are top shelf dishwasher safe. I have so many containers from KFC(I am not vegan, yet, shifting that way though) but like their containers for mashed potatoes/gravy, coleslaw, etc, are dishwasher safe. I use the individual sized ones a lot for meal prepping and they are the perfect size for salad dressings, dips you want to keep separate from your main dish.

My only fear is that the BK workers mix impossible burger “meat” with reg burger and give us that since they both taste practically the same we won’t know if it was the impossible burger till we are puking or blowing our brains out in the bathroom 😂😩

Same! I've read articles that the Impossible patty is prepared on the same surface as the beef patties. That's why I haven't been inclined to try it. But, to each their own!

I don't know for sure but I think In-N-Out grilled onions are cooked in the beef drippings from the patties... Might want to check and make sure before ordering.
I'm from Spain and let me tell y'all that the vegan meat option at taco bell is SO GOOD. it tastes the same, seasoned the same etc. we just got a plant based burger at BK here too, but it isn't the impossible burger sadly
