If your battery is completely dead how long does the jump starter need to stay connected to the battery after youve jumped the battery and the car is running?
If the car is running the jump started is no longer needed, the vehicle's alternator will charge the battery from that point and the car should probably run or be driven for at least 30 minutes afterward. Or you can hook the battery up to a battery charger to fully charge it.
@@zzzzzz...9902 That's something I'll have to try sometime. Also some of the clamps on these jump starter cables are too small to fully open around the larger terminals on newer vehicles so jumper cables would also help with having larger clamps.

Would like to see longer cables
That's the main issue with almost all portable jump starters, most have cables that are way too short.
@@Mr.Everything You probably could connect jumper cables to it to make it longer assuming you have them in your car
