I've been thinking about getting a booster pack for the past couple of years and have not been able to come to a decision. This has been extremely helpful, and I should also go back and rewatch your earlier video. With so many choices for booster packs, you've now made my decision easier.
Got a 4000 gooloo couple yrs ago still going strong and got myself and my 2.2 diesel and others out of trouble a few times ,it's the best investment especialy if your traveling remotely
Yeah we just picked up one of those ones with the little booster button on the side we picked it up for 50 bucks it's been working pretty good thank you for the video
I've been chunking around the 1700amp lead acid version from HF for a few years now, and while it still works well, it is Heavy and a royal PITA to try to tuck on/around a mower that has excised its battery into oblivion. It does have a decent air inflator with some other options that have been useful, but the weight and size is getting to be a problem. Great timing on the vid, I'm in the market for a lipo version!
I have and love the Gooloo GT4000 I especially love how fast it charges using the car cigarette cord. I take it camping to use in the tent and then in the morning it usually charges back to 100% in 20-30min I can run a notebook, charge phones, lights and sometimes I heat my sleeping bag with a usb heating pad. And it’s nice to know I can always start my car. They claim it has a 26800 mAh battery pack, while you have it open can you tell me exactly what batteries are present within it? Thanks! @@pinkypromise111 Oh ya! This one is the best! My brother just bought one and he got the zippered bag/box made for it. It’s not only a jumper box it’s also with a huge battery bank for charging electronics in case of emergency or when traveling. The beauty of is that if you use the supplied cigarette lighter plug to charge it in your car it charges at a whopping fast rate of 100amps You won’t regret buying this (I don’t work for or get a commission) Come back after you’ve used it for a while and tell me how much you love it.
I just returned the Gooloo GT3000 because they dismissed my complaint about the packaging arriving "pre damaged." Too much attitude on their part. They also keep moving the price up and down each week. It is very large and heavy.
I have a $50 taskforce. It is good for a four cylinder car . I like to carry it with me on my motorcycle. It has jumped both . Infact I have jumped an old 302 with it . I thought I was going to let the magic smoke out but it still works well .
Gooloo would be my recommendation. If used often the control solenoid will eventually burn out (all booster packs have this happen) and the Gooloo is easy to get open and solder a bypass the Hulkmans on the other hand are doable but harder.
@@redneckcomputergeek Thank you, appreciate your knowledge and reply. I ordered a gt4000s for about $140 on amazon, it was cheap compared to the other brands and wasnt sure about it and I was about to cancel it and go with the Hulkman. Im going to keep the Gooloo.
Does your GTX280 randomly shut off after 4 hours when using it to power a fan or fridge? Trying to see if mine is not a defect or how to constantly keep it on like the GTX180. Thanks.
I’ve got an old GP180 or 200 I’ve had for years now, never let me down! Just bought a replacement last night it’ll be here tomorrow. I wish I would’ve seen this video before because I would DEFINITELY make sure I got one with pre-heat! …now looking at the Walmart description I see it says the GE4500 is “safe” to use from -4°F to 140°F but doesn’t say if it’s “functional”!! (The plug looks right though 😅).. I got some GE1500’s as gifts coming too and those have the bulky plug but those won’t be my problem 😎 lmao
Tried out a lead acid jumper combo, charged with a tiny wall charger that would take at least 20 hours to charge, no thanks. So will these run other brands of inverters?
Could someone help me, i have a Autogen 2000A unit. when i push the button all floor LEDS blink. when i connect the charger or disconnect it the LEDS blink all together just like pushing the button. the unit does not function.
Unfortunately I do not have a B.F. to help me pick one out, or anyone electronically inclined. I have a Subaru 2020 with lots of battery problems, sounds like parasitic drains based on what people are reporting in a Subie group. Where do I pick up the charger? Do you have any specific suggestions?
Why are you yelling? Lol good video though thanks. I just ordered the gp not gt 3000, looks like a new release in January. Has the external boost button and no lcd, and no 100w but I'm not junking just a backup in my truck. Only $80 for the new trimmed down gp model. Thanks for the overview.
I can tell everyone this for a surety! If you value reliability and longevity? Don't ever ever buy the "type s" from Costco. I was given 2 of these for Christmas in 23 and they are garbage! I don't think I got a total of 10 jumps out of the one and now even fully charged, I can't get enough juice to turn over a Chrysler 3.8.
DON'T buy it if it has a fragile USB C connector as the ONLY way to charge it. One bump of that circuit board mounted connector and your fancy box is a paper weight. It is hilarious how they make these look all rugged with rubber bumpers and yet it will break if the USB charge cord gets tugged accidentally sideways.
I purchased one. Never used it. It wouldn't hold a charge just sitting there. Battery already depleted 50% after only 1 month. Still under warranty. Contacted them. They do everything they can NOT to honor the warranty....still waiting....😮😮😮
@@adami775 I’ve heard people have a lot of issues out of the gbx line. There’s a video of a tool guy that sells them and he doesn’t recommend them to anyone

any idea how to store a jump starter in a car,in desert climate so the battery doesent go bad. maybe a ice chest/bag?
I would just get a Super capacitor jumper.
Ive used the Yellow 4000 one you have for some time... its a bloody good workhorse! Fantastic products and well priced!
