Ran into Wally P Couple years ago at the Alan Parsons Concert at Roal Oak Theatre. He's Ukrainian and gave him My Support . He's done The All Starts with Ringo and I dig his Other Super Band..The Empty Hearts
No, but I wish I was! I would have my arms around him the whole time he was interviewing! I would NOT let go! Once my arms are around him, I ain't letting go! 😍
@@la1163 Hope so bc I only read comments saying he just stays home and is a bitter recluse kinda guy... Supposedly his ego was huge. Hopefully everything is going good for him nowadays
No mention of Mike's departure and absence on the third album, then returning to replace Rich on bass. I always thought his return was key to the success of the "In Heat" album.
Coz is on Facebook and was in the band until like 2011 or 12, and now rich has been back in the band since. Jimmy has been out of spotlight and has been quiet for about 20 years now, I heard he’s a chef now but it’s only a rumour, I’d love to hear from Jimmy again he was my 2nd favourite member of the band
I was around 13 when this came out, I would sing “I smell, the beans that you eat, when you’re farting in your sleep” I also sang, “That’s what I like about Jews” with lines involving stereotypes.
Used to see them every Tuesday at the Red Carpet.I jammed with Jimmy and Mike ,Greg Arama, Bobby East at a storefront on Gratioit. Shoveled snow with Jimmy at his mom's house. He always said he was gonna get somewhere. Cheers.
Not sure what a “wunder” is exactly, but if you’re talking pure specs the Romantics had two hits on the Billboard Top40 : “Talking in your sleep” (#3) and “One in a Million” (#37) with album sales reaching Gold in the US and Platinum in Canada, respectfully. It’s incredibly difficult to reach any kind of notable success in the music industry and by anyone’s standards the Romantics were surely a successful and influential band. Jimmy Marinos is a great rocknroll drummer with rock-solid time and a slamming backbeat-one of the best in the business. actually. His small but visually appealing zebra-striped Ludwig drum kit sporting a 26x14 kick drum with either a four or five piece configuration complements his open handed style perfectly. He knows exactly who and what he is as a musician and owns it with style and confidence.
Jimmy is so cool, he just is
Jimmy Marinos. The Perfect Man. No lie...he's effn perfect!!
Real. From the heart. Detroit Rock n Roll. Love these guys.
their music and sound is just raw and perfect. In heat was their perfect album, but I love the first 2 also.
Jimmy Marinos.....the coolest Greek God!!!
Wally and Jimmy look real great!!! How handsome!!!!!

Rumor has it that he’s a chef now. But I really couldn’t say for sure .

@@thismothafuckasaid7304 Aww that’s a shame, hopefully he’s in a better state of mind and moved on and found a better purpose.
They mentioned practically every song except One In A Million, which Is my all-time favorite song of theirs.

Mike does some killer bass lines on that album.
I model my image after him because I already look alot like him.
Where is Jimmy now? He's impossible to find!
Jimmy Marinos is so cool. Looking great here. Is it true that he gained weight and looks like an average Joe? I saw a picture of him on the internet.
I don't think it was him. do you have the picture?
@@valeriejacquelin4332 yes, I do.
How do I send it to you?
Is there a way to send a Picture to someone on UA-cam?
I'm a straight man and a drummer and I must agree.....
What happen to Jimmy Marinos and Cos Calner. You don't hear much about them.
That's what I wanna know!

Coz lives in Miami now. He owned a kickass club I was lucky enough to play there 3 times and he was a really cool guy!!!
top ce jimmy
Sounds like fun.
Do this the Stray Cats?
Its no wonder they got ripped off by their record label.
Kind of a painful interview, Jimmy & Wally seem annoyed but the bad questions
What's your FUNNEST song ?!
Jimmy disappeared never to be heard from 😂
When I close your eyes n farts in ur sleep, l hear the gas u passin in ur sleep n it freakin reeks

Wally is so boring. Jimmy has charisma.
Wally seems kinda cool here to me. Has that too cool for school swag going

@@billybats4745 Wally seems to be trying too hard to sound clever but fails.
@@johnssiroid4439 Is Jimmy at all active musically these days in Detroit?
These poor schubs look like they couldn't even pick up an instrument, or even a drumsrick. One hit wunder.
