Create is Minecraft's most useful mods but there are a surprising amount of useless things hidden deep inside! From buggy blaze burners, bone breaking sticker blocks, and even a world record here are 50 useless facts about Create Mod!
You can also shoot Blaze Cakes out of a Potato Cannon! It does the most damage out of all of them (15 on an unenchanted cannon) and sets mobs on fire.
Oh that’s super cool! I wish I had seen that!
I mean usefull if you have a factory for it
I think best way to automate nethearack is using create dreams and desires addon or create chromatic return addon
@@6tobi6hana6condensed milk is much simpler
and also shoot Pumpkins and Watermelonblocks and if they hit the ground they will Place themselfes.@@dejojotheawsome
Super slow rotation can be funny on a multiplayer server. Do stuff like making a tree that rotates incredibly slowly, or other various landmarks/things around someone's house. My favourite thing is rotating forests, although that takes a load of bearings and its a nightmare to glue.
oh my god rotating forests that's hilarious
This is some “Smii7Y replaces an entire forest with planks” type of energy 😂
ROTATE THEIR HOUSE!
Actually, what if you made a system that very rarely rotates something 90 degrees, got almost everyone on the server to play along, and made someone think they're insane.
@@lilyoftheflame would probably have to be something unsymmetrical but sometime you dont really pay attention to, like a stray animal pen
I'd like like to think that putting the goggles on the mechanical arm is a reference to the scene in, i think, Iron Man 2, where Tony is yelling at a mechanical arm that has goggles on. I could be completely wrong, but it's fun to think about!
that would be cute!
The first one is also realistic. As the color blue is hotter than orange or red.
@@khaosfilms2480 y does this have 0 replies???
What about green
@@RedsauceconsumerGreen Fire is Witz chemical’s
@Redsauceconsumer Fire heat goes on a spectrum from red to white to blue, based on how much oxygen is present, because oxygen is blue and causes the fire. green means there is copper present in the fuel, which doesn't change the temperature
@@aarondowd7346 It's largely determined by incandescence, though flame color is a lot more complicated than that.
fun fact. a 5x5 wool windmill is about as much stress as two large water wheels. so a 5x5x5 cube of wool on a windmill bearing will give you that sweet 8000 stress
me pondering my SU cube
I think 5x5x6 is needed for max power
@@crazylolsbg hmm, yeah probably. atlhough at that pont yoru better off with a passive steam boiler i guess?
@@crazylolsbg technically, the 5x5x5 is only 3 wool short of full power, so you can get away with a small lump on the cube.
@@Autoskip ok i did not know this, thank you
Sweet berries actually turn the potato cannon into a shotgun, mixed with flame this is very powerful, because sweet berries are dirt cheap
Wow thank you
Im pretty sure you can also use glowberries but i dont remember what they did
@@trollar8810 idk either but it would make sense if they applied the glowing effect like what spectral arrows do
@@trollar8810 Glowberries shoot 2 berries at once, while normal 3. This kinda makes sense because of it's texture
Chocolate covered berries do the same but more damage I think, and idk what he means with the potato cannon being useless, it’s cracked when fully enchanted!
True Fact #50
"Mechanical Arms or mechanical presses, mixers, etc. don't care if a depot is the same depot, just as long as one is in the same location"
Meaning, you could glue depots on a mechanical barring. Rotating periodically stopping to give the machines time to interact with the depots.
Basically an alternative way to automate recipe sequences.
"It spins them right around baby right round..."
Hahaha that’s cool
I am still a novice at Create, are there any cases where this interaction could see practical use?
@@Tankerrex3 A table that a player can insert items onto and a mechanical takes the items off, while it's constantly spinning maybe? Other than that, it could, like @electrobob992 said, be used for sequenced assembly such as in precision mechanisms, though it would be more decorative, as it is not the most efficient way to do this.
@@Tankerrex3 sushi belt
@@Tankerrex3one I can think of is a bit of something strange. If you need to cycle crafting, I can see some redstone-create mix logic for certain items giving signals for changing what autocrafters are making. It'd be weird, but it's a use.
That infinite slow down does have a "practical" use case. When I first discovered create I saw the potential for building spheres in minecraft, but I noticed that any sphere building machine with a sufficiently large radius wouldn't work perfectly. The arm would move fast enough to skip blocks even at 1 rpm but if you slow it down even further, even though the full rotation would be abysmally slow, the outer reach of the arm would still be moving quite fast
I can think of a use for all of these.
YOU WILL NEVER KEEP ME OPRESSED
No one can run the chicken core its too powerful
Funnily enough, if you gear down rotation to where it is below 0.5, A grinding wheel pair will process items INSTANTLY, as long as you only insert 1 item at a time.

Zedaph used the symmetry tool to create a really large space for "unlimited" lava! :-)
(10k lava is a lot smaller than you'd think!)
Oh that’s a clever use of it!
when i built my own lava pool once, i dug out a 20x20x25 area. exactly 10k blocks.
I honestly use it all the time, I always build symmetrical stuff so it's a must for me and timesaver
@@spartanxander-0476 same
I think the Honey and Chocolate pushing you faster makes some sense. Its a thicker liquid flowing at the same rate as water, isn't it?
no they flow slower than water and they'd have to be flowing reaaaaally fast to make much sense. Besides honey sticky!
Only if it was in vanilla minecraft it could be helpful
Blaze Burners burn blue when super heated because, barring use of certain minerals in the flame, Blue fires burn hotter, this is because the fuel for these flames is typically FULLY combusted in the process, that causes them to release more energy. Depending on the minerals used, you can also get various colors of flames at the normal red flame temperature.
Isn't copper green? A really nice green too, like the Aurora Borealis. Or maybe thats zinc I'm thinking of.
@@zoftofthedead Copper is green when oxidised but red otherwise
5:20 I have seen that many times on a server, happens all the time, f3+a to reload chunks fixes it, its purely visual and can technically happen with any contraption, but for some reason minecarts specifically really love doing that.
Also beetroot does pitiful damage but their firing speed alone makes them HORRIFYING with enchanted cannons, dual wield that and you become the heavy from tf2
"It costs 400 thousand emeralds to fire these weapons, *for 12 seconds."*
actually, the blaze burner turning blue is a refferance to the hottest blue and purple flame of a gas torch
Purple flame?
@@АрхеологПазловичyeah, the supercharge blaze burner Has a Tiny of purple at the bottom, same with the gas torch, a slight purple tint at the bottom
it could be both
@@mozarteanchaos it is both, blues with purpleish tint
@@chocoking2103 i mean that it can be both a reference to real-life fire, _and_ a reference to howl's moving castle.
Honestly the mechanical contraption glitch is a pretty common bug I have been getting recently, its completely visual and can be fixed by reloading all chunks (F3+A)
Gotta love create's visual bugs
Congrats on 15k!
One thing that reliably causes it is having instant respawn on in a single player world
Encasing a chute is more useful than you'd think because it makes the input hitbox bigger, so if you're making a tango cobble farm for example, encasing the chutes will stop the blocks falling between them.
3:35 i have noticed something, when dejojo said the word "subscribe" the subscribe button had a little effect
Iirc, When a Blaze Burner is about to go off, it gives off a signal of 1
that is true! I missed it in this video but still, there are redstone-less ways to automate burners that are much better
Im def gonna make a clock bearing farm
but why... why would you bring that into the world
Honey pushes you faster because its much more dense, thus making it much harder to resist its flow. A good historical tidbit, there was a humongous molasses spill in boston way back, and it levelled entire blocks because of how much kinetic energy it had.
For tip 10 spin from the slow side a hand crank and let's see how fast the large cogwheel will go
0:08 YOU CAN WHAT? man i wish I knew this, i used rope pulleys and a bunch of drills to empty a pit so I can fill it with some farms and such, but I didnt have enough drills to clean the pit in one go so I had to repeatedly change the contraptions position. If I knew about this pulley climb thing then doing my thing would've been so much easier so I can quickly go up and move it to the next spot
I have more of a tipp for create trains, when you have a mob controlling a train and you put a train controller on both sides of it your train tracks don't need to be a loop but they can go forward and back (nice if you only have one train on a track and don't want to make a loop)
Well that's a terribly useful facts
the redstone signal from heating blazeburner once helped me, then i did steam engine on lava. My hand feeded blazeburner with lava and then blaze were already heated, it just pured out lava and that wasnt nice. So, cause redstone signal also stops the hand, then blazeburner was heated hand stopped
I'd argue that the fake crushing wheels *are* useful, a la secret entrance. If *you* know they're fake, but nobody else knows they're fake, then the only person crazy enough to willingly drop into 'em is you. Just make it hard to accidentally fall in, and you've got yourself a nice secret entrance.
The basin being able to dump its cargo actually sounds really useful.
5:15 its caused because of minecraft chunks rendering, just hit f3+t or f3+a (i dont remember exactly which one does that) and it should fix the problem.
5:19 you can press f3+a to reload and itll fix this bug im pretty sure
Oh sweet thank you!
@@dejojotheawsome crazy how interactive u are, kudos to you my friend
I theorize that blaze cakes aren't what supercharges the blaze burners, the blazes just want cake so they reward players for giving it to them.
I did not know you could put goggles on things. This makes me happy.
When carrots are fired from potato cannons, they actually fly a liitle further then other vegetables
Blaze got hired to be work in a blaze burner
Blaze burner emits Redstone strength of one when it's almost out of fuel but still burning.
19 yeah, i’ve expierenced this a lot while trying to make an Ultimate Creat Mod Base, and my guesss is that it happens because too much is happenning around it, causing the visual to bug out. To fix it just re-log the world
9, 10: You were this close discovering the truth.
ALL machines have a minimum speed limit. That means you can create 10 of them and no matter how little you crank that rpm, they will all keep the same speed while eating less and less stress.
25: Being weirded out that you can encase chutes only with industrial iron is like being weirded out that brass casing doesn't work on cogs.
i saw someone drop the items in a couldron and with a constuction put it right in the middle of a fan circule.
Becouse the contraption is an entity all fans can blow at the couldron.
interesting! do you have a link to that I'd love to see it
These may be useless but I still didn't know the majority of them!
It wasn’t easy to find them all lol
I have to use the potatoe gun more ofthen
2:14 i wonder if there is a way to abuse floating-point rounding errors to create a perpetual motion machine with that
0:36 that has been used in the create trailers multiple times.
Wait, Create has ACTUAL lore? Amazing
Dejojo, you already talked about limestone generation?
I feel like that's useful though for building blocks and stuff
Thank you sooo much for these "useless" facts some are actually useless but like changing the wood color of the water wheel is nice for building aesthetics
i mean, technically that wasn't one of the facts. the fact that you can automate it via deployer was
I thought it was blue because when flames are hotter, the changes to blue?????
Thats Just a city legend, flames burn in different colors because of the material you are using , some gases (like the one used in stoves) burn blue
fact #50 is false because learning 49 facts about create made us have no friends
T_T
I'm not even a minute in and the first 2 make me so mad. It's a rope, of course you can climb ropes. And the blaze turning blue is not a reference to calcifer, fire is just blue when it's hotter.
The rope is actually a new thing and just doesn't really help with Create, their ladders are better honestly. And I guess the blue thing might be a stretch but they are actually references to calcifer!
The random setting on brass tunnels seems like it'd be useful for redstone RNG
YOU CAN PUT GOGGLES ON A MECHANICAL ARM???????
MEHANICAL ARM HAS A GOOGLES? WHY??
style points
Idk about burning blue being a reference, butane will burn blue when it burns hot enough. The eggs are definitely a reference tho
in number 2, i may be wrong (that it's not a reference) but it might be the fact that blue flames are stronger than red flames
The Infinitely slow rpm is good for transporting Immense amounts of stress units. As each halfing of speed, dubbles the stress units in the system. Sure a fast high stress unit system is ideal. But when time isnt an issue, a slow system might just do the trick.
The clock one actually makes me feel like you could make one of those over-the-top villain traps where the clock reaching a certain point cuts a bamboo or rope and causes a Rube Goldberg of different things around the room eventually killing the target, and you could have somebody trapped there and say some cheesy one-liner and leave the room with them complete unsupervised for some reason and then they to try to escape at the last second
Can you use industrial iron blocks on a waterwheel to keep it from burning on lava?
ive used the waterlogged chute in an iron farm recently, not 100 useless
Maybe blaze burners become blue because light above 6500 K is blue? You didn't think of that did you?
Fact number 51, there is a breaking bad expansion mods called create:broken bad where your end goal is to make m*th
The blue blaze burner is just because blue fire is warmer fire. Look at the base of the fire on a gas stove or any very hot flame like a blow torch
For number 19 chunk reloading (f3+a) usually fixes visual bugs like this
The second one is not for that but for bunsen burner that can heat up to ver 900*C when the airhole is opened
And if you launch a sweetberry of a potato cannon it will split into 2 peaces but it won´t shoot as far as a potato or something else
50 BLEW MY MIND (why didn't I expect that....) ummm acktuawwally 🤓it's only a fact if *redacted*
I am a man of genius
I use slow fans to bulk process many stacks of items on a single block. By the time they fall off into a container below, they're done.
Im pretty sure the blaze burner just turns blue because blue flames are hotter than orange ones
Don’t berries shoot like a shotgun out of a potato cannon, or is that a submof
Another entity I found does work right with ejectors is falling sand
0:28 hotter fire is just blue
you can flint and steel blaze burners to make them on fire and feed them soul sand to make the fire blue
this might be what the splash water is for
this is unfortunately a useful fact because they function for smoking and haunting in that way
Ooooooh maybe
0:21 That's wrong Blue fire Is the hotter then red fire that's why
the random setting just chooses a random output
number 5 can be used to keep a blaze burner on blue using cakes without wasting any. have a comparator being powered from the side with a signal of 3, which itself is powering the mechanical arm that feeds cakes to the burner. it will only grab a new one when it stops being blue.
you can do the same technique for normal burning too. less fuel wasted!
(unless im stupid. this is a possibility)
I absolutely love the goggles Easter egg and the mechanical arm jukebox one.
The Create mod is much easier than redstone
So much!
Those contraptions become laggy if they're far from player (probably in unloaded chunks). So F3+A helps with that situation
Bro blue fire is hotter than red fire. That's just how it is.
true true, but they are actually refences to calcifer with the whole egg eating thing and with the way their eyes change i thought it looked really similar
It was so close to your goal, ONE day off. XD
At number 19 i had a glitch the exact same as this
1: being able to climb a rope allows you to create a rudimentary mineshaft by attaching a wind turbine/water wheel to a pulley that lowers a drill into the ground. You can sit on the drill as it goes down, and bail into any interesting cave/straight up out of danger. Also allows access to "service" areas of rope pulley lifts without needing a whole floor there (ik elevator pulleys kinda make those redundant, but eh.
5:26 It's a bug, rejoin the world to fix that
awesome content as always, definitely deserve more subs. :)
They only recently added the climbing rope pulley ropes, and it’s very useful
but like ladders
@@dejojotheawsomeone rope pulley is cheaper than a stack of ladders and takes less effort to move, though.
blaze burners actually burn blue because real oxygen-eating fire turns blue when superheated
true true, but they are still calcifer references!
3:02 I'm confused.. you say the practical limit is 10 fans; i thought it was 4... Is there any showcase of how this can be achieved?
Yep! Depots have an interesting interaction
Having a fan pointing down, up, and at all the sides directly is 6 fans
However you can actually have 2 fans on each side since a fan pointed one block above the depot still works which Ads 4 extra fans
thanks, that is awesome!
Now I can make my cobblestone farm go even faster (:
I wish I had minecraft and a computer and create mod
2nd fact is rong. Blue flames typically indicate a temperature range of approximately 2,300 to 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit (1,260 to 1,650 degrees Celsius). Sorry
Rope pulleys can be used like retractable free-standing ladders for when you're exploring but will want a way back
That last fact seems like the most useful fact of all.
Second view
everything burns blue when super heated...
First view
Brb, making 400 goggles, no reason…
I disagree. Blaze burners and mechanical arms having goggles is the most useful feature in the create mod and if you dont do it thats a massive flaw in everything you've ever built.(Assuming it was after it was added)
I made an airship using valkyrian skies, it used a rope pully for climbing!
that's cool! It is an addon tho
8:28 is wrong you can have it work the catch is you have to spin the deployer with a contraption
so make a o shape with deployers and a o shape with hand cranks and spinn it
it has to be a o shape because the deployer directly on the bearing wont work
i have made a engine myself that produces over 4k stress units because the more handcranks the better
Ooooh that’s a crazy cool idea that I never would have though of!!!
early
Was going to say right off the bat the rope pulley being climbable is really useful for portable vertical drill machines, to climb back up out of the hole you created
ok that Gapple one could be cool if you're in a fight and your friend aerially shoots a Gapple at you via Elytra
I would have never Seen this before
Wouldn’t #2 be useful for efficient use of fuel with a NOT gate that places fuel/blaze cakes into the burner once it turns off?
