@Kinwoven - Robeson Design ... *_Well, I definitely think you should rename "Bruce" as soon as possible ... and I recommend Konstantin (pronounced Constantine) because I am persuaded he is a Russian reindeer. BTW, I know this was last year, but this is my favorite themed decor of yours ... smitten by the jewel tones, musical instruments and reindeer. My favorite Christmas decoration growing up was a reindeer standing in snow my mother always fashioned. After watching this, I feel the need for more reindeer ... my latest piece is a silver reindeer head pillar candle holder. He holds a milky blue pillar and sits in between one milky raspberry and two silver tapers of different heights in crystal candlesticks. His name is Pavel, also a Russian reindeer name. This home as a backdrop of the decorating takes everything to a new level. While the CA house was beautiful all decorated, every view of this house is in a different category. The rich crown moldings and contrast of wood, the windows, the brick, and the arches create a foundation of depth and elevates the decorating. So complete, beautiful. You’re crazy talented. Musical instruments are expensive! I used to play in high school lol. You seriously gave me an idea to do music theme this year, but piano. I have played for over 15 years....Thanks Rebecca for the inspiration!

I watched this video again today. To get inspiration for 2022. One thing I love is you show us the boo-boo’s that happen. Like the broken leg on the little deer on the floor in this video. Now we would never have known it had been broken. But you showed us any way so we can give ourselves permission to use things we have even if they are broken a little. So thank you. I really appreciate your videos. And your honesty. ❤
I love the player grand piano. We have a grand piano also on an interior wall to prevent sound board from cracking and to regulate the humidity there’s an add on under mount humidification tray that you might want to have installed because you have your piano in a sun room with all those windows and it probably has more temperature swings that will effect the sound board and also will make it out of tune quicker. Enjoy. We love ours. Especially at Christmas. Merry Christmas Rebecca. You’re a bright spot and spark creativity.
“I sit back and I look at them. I look at them at night, in the morning, and in the daytime. Then, I adjust.” OMG I always thought that the reason I do this is because I didn’t know how to decorate and would have to keep fixing it. It drives everyone crazy. LOL.

I think an arched window or 2 That open up from the center or even arched with etched pattern such a lace design or French or English wording compatible with the theme you desire.

I too have a vintage Christmas tree framework. It was handed down and lights up. Made with all of my husband's grandmother and great grandmother's jewelry/ brooches. So cool and my favorite things.

Over the years and as a design sessions member I have learnt so much - I have spinners sent to England for me from David at Canterbury tales, I have to have a converter to use them - but well worth the money and each year they bring such joy to friends that come to visit (apart from last year of course) So, as we were in lockdown and friends couldn't visit, I decorated last year and made a video - my partner Gavin and I were just recovering from covid - and to watch it again - you realise just how poorly we were - but how excited we were to share the joy of my 7 trees. I went overboard because I didn't have to move furniture to have the space for our party - so instead I filled every space with trees all varying - and because you have taught me so much it was a magical time. I simply love your new home - its a beautiful house and your music theme is so stunning - and glad you got the new big Reindeer in time to do the walk through video - I believe he should be called Noel xx Merry Christmas with love from England xx

back in 1970 I worked for J L HUDSON DEPARTMENT STORES in the Display dept. We used to take florist wire and do the same thing you did with pipe cleaners but we always did a grouping of five glass balls on the wire, WE would also hang them close to the trunk of the tree

It all complements your home so well. With reference to the musical theme. That violin you got at pawn shop may have some value. My daughter plays cello. Her cello was handcrafted by a famous instrument maker in Germany, it cost $8000. Perhaps you might want to google who built it or have it checked out. If pawned, might be more valuable than you realise😊
You never disappoint! I have a "what would Rebecca do" question! I have a 12 foot beautiful Christmas tree that is up with white lights, flocked and topper with ribbons coming down. My family wants me to leave it like that with no ornaments (BALLS) on it! I agree that it looks beautiful as is, but feels weird not to decorate more! HELP!! Thank you for all your years of Christmas on UA-cam, you are the absolute BEST!! I have watched every video of yours and your crack me up!! Merry Christmas Rebecca and Family!!
I love using picks and I also do the clusters of balls like Rebecca shows here. I use a coordinating pipe clean and trust the bunch right on to the tree. Super easy when you have set pre made. I do groups of 3 and 5 using different size balls and usually a trig of greenery (that matches my tree) With a 12 footer I think this would work nicely. You don't have to overload if you don't want but accent a few spots. One last thing is if you stick with white and or metallics it will keep the elegant look your family seems to be responding to. Hello Rebecca. I love watching your beautiful awesome decorations. Today I was watching the most beautiful lovely design of a musical 🎶 Christmas in your new home in Oklahoma. I am a widow it’s been 2 1/2 years now but it still feels like yesterday. I am trying to live my new normal but to be honest it’s been very difficult. Christmas was one of my favorite holiday. My husband was a musician he played precision. He was a singer. But I remember he enjoyed seeing me decorate for Christmas. 😢 But not anymore. How I wish I could bring it back again. Thanks for sharing your home. 😍
My favorite ladder design you've done in Christmas past is the white bird with the feathery tail! Also, I suggest the name Jingles (a classic name) for the reindeer or Diego as a tribute to your old home in San Diego! gorgeous home this year Rebecca!
