It takes me a good 4 weeks to decorate my whole home for Christmas. I started watching you 15 years ago. I have gone crazy decorating for Christmas because of you. I put up 6 trees all themed and I look forward to changing it up each year and always wondered what your color scheme would be each year. You are a true inspiration to me and a ton of others. Thanks for this! In these days of comparison, the overwhelm sets in fast. I was shocked when I bought my house to learn you can't redo an entire kitchen in one weekend as they do on tv. I appreciate your honesty. You are a professional-and it shows! You inspire me to glean from your knowledge and make my home the best I am able-and it'll be great!

Decorating this year has been so challenging, and un-decorating due to living in Florida and having another storm on its way. .... so this is by far my favorite video you have done so far showing the reality of all the behind the scenes and what really goes on trying to get everything accomplished. Your video just gave me the energy I will need for the reset of Christmas decor after the storm. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤

You have made my afternoon! Hurricane Nicole just breezed through my neighborhood in Southwest Central Florida and I laughed at all your narrations! I always wait till after Thanksgiving to decorate. But I go all out. This year I still have not packed away every thing from last year. Sad but true. Long story shortened I have a new puppy and he likes to chew on everything. So this year I have one small table top tree and all the lights are going to be used outside! Next year should be better. I hope. You are feeding my favorite season decorating soul! THANK YOU.

Rebecca - You could use long bamboo poles to knock pine cones down.. they use them to harvest pecans.

You are amazing. How you didn’t get stressed out with so much going on and if you were you sure handled it well. I’ve been using the same beautiful Xmas decorations for around 25 years, I know how boring but I love them and they make me happy with lots of memories of Christmas past. Haha, love the “crazy” behind it all. Definitely puts into prospective what it takes to have the amazing, full on look you provide. Here in Canada I have family members who do all this… I’m a little less enthusiastic but love the effort it all takes.

Oh Rebecca, I love this video. So so real! What we won't do to make our vision come to fruition. I was trampolining in the grass behind my house looking for natural items to use as addition stems (floral picks) to put in my tree. Rebecca, I feel your pain we are a lot alike I start my decorations hunting the end of every Christmas and take advantage of the sales. Furthermore, I have my home decorated in the middle of November every year, in order to enjoy the entire season without listing a finger. Then thereafter, take it down the proper way for next year. I’m with you - I cannot work in clutter. House needs to be deep cleaned and all my decor is labeled and cleaned before and after. The prep actually takes longer than the decorating. Then I edit - too much makes me feels “stuffy”. I also move my decor around and revamp it, only purchasing a few good quality things each year. Loved this video, nice to see you in a hot mess of decor and it doesn’t just appear perfect, there is actually so much work involved!🥰🙋🏼♀️🇨🇦🎄🤶🏻

Wonderful touch....bringing the deer into the shot "as naturally as possible." Rebecca, another delightful, REAL video that we can identify with. I may not have a basement of Christmas (we don't have a basement at all!!!) but I do have a few totes, tubs, and one very old family trunk full of 50 Christmases, some edited, some not. Will be another adventure in repurposing!!! Blessings
