finally finished parts 1 and 2, but man this has taken me so long already, and that's with a tutorial. It's insane how you can design such builds from scratch

You're pumping these tutorials out so fast, it's incredible! With a build this complex, it's probably much more of a challenge to make a tutorial. You never disappoint!

@@SixWings Idk why, but I try to build your stuff on a survival server with my 1-3 friends that also play Minecraft :) currently I build a lot farms to provide enough Ressourcen for big builds.
I'm glad I have people who also enjoy Ghibli movies or find the bathhouse of yours amazing :o I try to share your builds with everyone I think who also enjoys stuff like that :D I hope that's enough support.

part 3 done :) the finish is close. next is the dome on top :) started at y 71 now i am at y 161. big build i love it. up to the next video part 4. i hope to finish it in 1 week. fingers crossed

PHew, this ones done.... only the roof and spire to go. Then im going to do my own version of a floor. But man this is looking so good in my world. Ive spend probably 2 months on and off after work dabbling away at it. Long ass build but its a wonder of my world now. Thanks so much for your designs, absolute top shelf.

Nice work! I can imagine that it's a long process. And love that you will do your own take on the floor. Following the "recipe" is fine, but making it your own by adding your own details is even better ik my opinion. 🙂

I hear you. The harsh reality of UA-cam unfortunately. Some people can post a short clip and get millions of views while other use days making a video and get very few. Keep making videos and hope they get more views. 🙂

Just one question: how tall is the whole building?
I've been thinking about building it - have found a fitting location - but I'm worried I might go over max build height

Could you maybe include measurements for future tutorials? I'm always questioning if im 1 or 2 blocks off, especially for the tall window sections--it's really hard to tell how many blocks tall they are when you place so fast and logs don't have any distinguishing marks.
My approach is usually to list the number of blocks if it gets too tedious to count. Usually over 10 blocks, but I don't have an exact threshold. Because these tutorials are so timeconsuming to make as it is, going through hours of footage and writing all measurements, would make it even more timeconsuming. That is why I rely on block placement sounds alongside the visuals, to make it easier to count. I understand that it can be difficult and your comment has been noted. There're might be other ways of making it easier to understand, like adding more measurement diagrams for sections of the build.

THis build is amazing but it would help a lot if you add the hight of any pillar or tower. I've had to redo things 100s of times because I can't get the measurements right. ANd even when I do they don't add up. It's mostly a me problem but having a number on screen that shows how tall or wide something needs to be is a huge help.
Do you have timestamps for the pillars you're missing measurements on? I usually show the height of the first pillar of blocks when building a larger pillar or building part, but when a pillar links to an existing part of the building, it shouldn't be needed. Or if the pillar is short enough to count.
But I might have missed posting it a couple of places. If you give me some timestamps, it's easier for me to help or take it into account in a later video.

What is the maximum finished height?
176 if I remember correctly, but the dome is only 119 blocks tall. The tower and spire are deceptively tall.
