the amount of effort, sheer sweat and dedication put into 2d minecraft along with world generator. chunk blaster is 3rd place for me, it is small and easy to build/use compared to the others but the time it takes to build 2d minecraft? my guy put his whole bloodline into making that, nothing but respect for wasting your entire lifespan on one build
So shocked on how complex and crazy redstone has become in Minecraft, I remember when I was younger and redstone was just a 2 by 2 door opening with a pressure plate lol
My RGB 2D Minecraft in Minecraft was no match against a LITERAL CHESS AI LOL. But I'm still glad I got 2nd place! Good job to sammyuri and everyone featured! :D
As someone who made a chess application and (a really bad) engine, do not underestimate that last build. That guy is legitimately a genius for that. It is not an easy thing to do, let alone with vanilla redstone
Someone did do a similar build for one of sipovers events. Basically an orbital cannon that has pretty much infinite range and would insta kill through any armor if hit directly. Extremely accurate but due to delays and having to be extremely accurate it was hard to hit a moving player. But it hit all the way down to bedrock.
It is humongous. You can get very similar effectiveness in PVP in a cannon that has a volume of ~100-2000 blocks (how many blocks exactly depends on how deep you want to dig/ how wide the damage should be - digging out a complete chunk isn't very effective in PVP btw since the lag warns the player, that something might be off)

u should definatly do the ratings AFTER you see everything, cause then u dont give the first one a really high score, then get to the really epic stuff, which losses to the random high score form the beginning.
I always love these redstone comparison videos because they truly showcase what the redstone community is capable of. Plus, it's shown in a comedic yet suspenseful way to keep our attention. Great job Sipover!
Yeah blockfish was high af to give that kind of eval Sammyuri’s bot can’t really see that far in the future… it’s evaluations are less accurate than what I can do just with my brain in moments… very cool though. Just not good at chess at all
Bro how tf did you not give the chunk destroyer at least a 28/30 that fact that you can just, SELECT A CHUNK WITH A 1k BLOCK RANGE AND TNT WILL PHYSICALLY MOVE TO THAT LOCATION WITH EXTREME PRECISION is… I would’ve said impossible in minecraft before this.
cubicmetre made one that has even bigger range, from what I know the one he made doesnt have a range limit but takes a long time to charge depending on far the target is.
i think its less complex than 2D minecraft and the chess ai, i built a chunk nuker from a tutorial. because there wasn't much involved. never be able to build the chess ai in survival
The redstone computers are (genuinely) impressive but at a certain point they have iterated on components and scripts whereby any build is just a new set of modules from previous builds...So it almost feels like the most impressive computer builds have already happened because of that. A bit like how most programming now is clearly easier than programming in 1970, redstone is just going through the same process 😂
That’s cool and all. Anyways, here’s a Chocolate Fudge Cake Recipe! Enjoy! 150ml sunflower oil, plus extra for the tin 175g self-raising flour 2 tbsp cocoa powder 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda 150g caster sugar 2 tbsp golden syrup 2 large eggs, lightly beaten 150ml semi-skimmed milk For the icing 100g unsalted butter 225g icing sugar 40g cocoa powder 2½ tbsp milk (a little more if needed) STEP 1 Heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Oil and line the base of two 18cm sandwich tins. Sieve the flour, cocoa powder and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl. Add the caster sugar and mix well. STEP 2 Make a well in the centre and add the golden syrup, eggs, sunflower oil and milk. Beat well with an electric whisk until smooth. STEP 3 Pour the mixture into the two tins and bake for 25-30 mins until risen and firm to the touch. Remove from oven, leave to cool for 10 mins before turning out onto a cooling rack. STEP 4 To make the icing, beat the unsalted butter in a bowl until soft. Gradually sieve and beat in the icing sugar and cocoa powder, then add enough of the milk to make the icing fluffy and spreadable. STEP 5 Sandwich the two cakes together with the butter icing and cover the sides and the top of the cake with more icing.
honestly the chunk evaporator is of course an amazing comstruction, but i would have rather enjoyed cobicmetre being awarded this category of rdstone construction
The $500 one was INSANE. Literally Minecraft Redstone Artillery.

bro has not seen cubicmetre
I know. The horse was incredibly made
The chunk blaster was honestly 2nd place for me. How easy it is to use and how relatively small it is for what it does is incredible. The range is astounding
Cubicmeter's Orbital Strike Cannon is similar, except with ranges that go past multiple millions of blocks away, and a customizable payload
Yeah, but bro world generation just nailed it. Definitely 2d Minecraft deserves its place.
@@ULTRA_4yeah I've been thinking that the whole time like some of his builds are better than most of these

That guy literally made 3d Minecraft using only redstone.
That thing uses command blocks i'm pretty sure, at least for changing the pieces, which i don't see being switched with pistons

The chunk blaster is easily my personal favorite. It's exactly what I envisioned when I searched for "redstone weapons".

The $500 build would be epic for an smp, imagine your friend peacefully building his base, and you NUKE his entire chunk 💀
i guess depends on its requirements
theres a better cannon there with much bigger range but it has its server tweaks requirements
also crashes server every other time
If you want to literally NUKE your friend, you should check out cubic meters orbital strike cannon
Reminds me of cubicmeters orbital strike canon
You just got an accurately modeled nuke dropped in your base from hundreds of thousands of blocks away
