If you play it as Silver Shroud Sinjin's goons will actually freak out, turn friendly, and run away. You then just have to kill Sinjin in vats before he can kill Kent.
If you're talking about the ones at 6:10, that's not true. Those ghouls in the video are the named pre-war workers in the Dunwich Borers cult. The pre-war neighbors have different names (they all start with Mr., Mrs., etc.) and are found outdoors as a random encounter.
Did you know that Evan was actually based off of a real person? He was a big fan of Fallout but he passed away. So his brother reached out to Bethesda and asked if they could put him in the game and they did in Nuka World. The guy also gives you the recipe for Nuka-Love in the game.
At 18:40 what killed Dogmeat was The Institute's destruction. No joke. The institute planted Dogmeat there as a companion animal for the sole survivor to meet with and be useful as a spy dog for them. The evidence to support this is the fact that Dogmeat is far too docile for the harsh and hostile world he lives in and the fact that the institute was already responsible for creating synthetic animals to use as both weapons and as spy animals. For instance, in the institute's synth retention bureau there are monitors in the background showing camera activity from a bird's eye view, which the only animal present in the game capable of doing that is the crow which seem to disappear the moment the institute is blown up. At the Red Rocket gas station the radio is playing classical music which immediately stops playing the moment you blow up the institute too. Every location with a radio that plays classical music is a location the institute has eyes at and or is a location that the institute is capable of monitoring from a distance.
Whenever I do the Silver Shroud quest where you have to save Kent, I always save the game, select all the "Speak as Shroud" dialogue options (which procs the guy to kill Kent), then do everything in my power to save him before he gets shot. Reloading as many times as necessary to both save Kent and say all the Shroud dialogue. It's not easy, but what else can I do, NOT speak as the Shroud? Nah, I prefer to have my cake and eat it too. So I do.
Dogmeat, knowing that you had a goal, underwent the ultimate sacrifice to guarantee that you'd never succeed in personally killing every NPC. A defiant and noble sacrifice, indeed.
I always feel so sad for Evan. Don't know the backstory for him, but I just always feel bad. So that one hit me in the feels. Dogmeat is another one because dogs.
General Zhao is in a boat near the Boston Harbor, and gives you three actual tactical nukes. So sparing him temporally probably would have helped with Prime.
I remember reloading my fists only run so I could save the guy at the end of the silver shroud quest line by using vats to "nothing personal kid" him. That run was fun.
I would say you forgot the creator of Nuka Cola. He is kept alive in the lore by a machine, which you can either turn off to let him rest in peace or let him stay alive, the quest is given by that Nuka Cola nutjob

@@54545flipperdipper there’s two ways to do it the first requires you get the conversation to actually pop up and passing a speech check the second is you just killing the boss first before he can pull the trigger while possible it is difficult
Even when I had a fast-firing, one-shotting weapon and plenty of AP, Kent would still end up dead before the bodies had hit the floor... the only way to save him is to use the Speech check so they all focus on the player as soon as combat begins.
If you play the DLCs again someday, definitely go through the synth questlines in Far Harbour, also bring Nick there. The story, morality and choices you can make are just amazing
I do give the DLC credit that all three factions in it can be destroyed without the player having to fire a shot (it's a bit of a shame there isn't a consequence beyond just losing traders).

I made jezebel a body with no arms, renamed her to ding-bot, and forced her to run trade caravans for me. Everytime I see her leaving from sanctuary and she says "haven't you done enough already? just go away" it always puts a big ol' grin on my face.

I never really found a good use case for the artillery strikes. It seems like everytime I thought of using them, the time it takes between throwing the flair and the first explosion is far better spent killing the people or things you were trying to kill. Also, more often than not, they tend to just run at you anyways which I’m usually far enough away from the strike that it’s ultimately pointless
Is there any reason you had for not putting in the deaths of certain characters? The deaths of followers such as Strong, Cait, Codsworth, etc didn't seem to make it in the final cut. Hell, even the entire Children of Atom faction in Far Harbor, one third of the three you can choose from in that DLC didn't make it in, even though the other factions did. Did you have some time constraint? Or were their deaths not interesting enough to put it into the video?

Where’d you find the lists of all the npcs and locations? Looking to do this challenge too and can’t find the siurce
This being shared, I'll also say there's a 99.9% chance that the creator of the video did not kill every npc in the game. lol.
If you cleared out good neighbourhood then the mysterious stranger doesn’t have to killed, as he is a ghoul inside the hotel 200 years later

Well, this is interesting to watch. I remember doing this a year ago, and I thought "I'm the only person who can mentally go through this" but nope, turns out I'm wrong. Do you plan on doing something like this for new vegas?
Did you get the sub marine guy, captain ahab (the rocket ship guy), the longneck cannery guy, the guy that gives you that quest (I can’t remember if he’s named), the vault 81 trader that visits the long neck cannery, the lost brotherhood soldier. Also do you have a list cause I got like over 1000 hours at least in this game and can name more that weren’t shown

The switcheroo is not the being cryogenically frozen part, that's actually pretty luxury as you get to live till after the war ends, or more like theoretically ends. The switcheroo part is the "The institute can use Vault 111's inhabitants as test subjects" part.
