      Yes I actually did
Removed the blower motor to test it with a 9 volt battery after finding out if or not your blower motor works
I went back and testing the relay in the fuse box and it ended up being that.

@estebansaint i have similar problem. My AC doesn't blow cold air so I replaced the AC compressor now I notice it only blows on max setting, but I THINK it did that when the A.C. actually used to blow cold air last summer but I could be wrong. It's possible that the relay is stuck in the "on" position, causing the blower motor to run continuously. Locate the relay in the fuse box and try swapping it with a similar relay to see if that resolves the issue.

I got an Audi A4 (B5) that when on heater, the fan speed slowly increases by itself and then pops a fuse. I tried it on a/c and it pops the fuse in less than a minute. I'm guessing its the blower motor resister/relay?
Edit: I should also mention the fact that my controls are digital and not a dial. I see the LED screen increase fan speed. The circuit board for the display looks fine and clean. No burn marks. Its a year 2000 vehicle, so my guess is the relay is shorting and it back feeds to the panel thinking the speed changed due to voltage increase?

Well could be a blown fuse I would check that first if that’s not the problem I would replace the resistor or at least test the old one that you have if that checks out then I would look into buying a blower motor especially if you swich the speed and nothing happens because usually the resistor or the motor will go out before the switch/ relay dose

Have a 2014 Dodge Durango V6. Air totally stopped blowing. Front blower motor fuse has blown several times. I've replaced them with other 40A ones from the fuse box. Then replacing those with non oem 40A ones. Every time the AC starts working fine again. It lasts a few weeks to about a month. Last time I used one of the aftermarket 40A for the blower. Today it blew & the fuse actually melted in its spot. Gonna try to coax it out of there. Someone had mentioned these fuses are directional. The oem ones have theses grooves on one side where the aftermarket ones did not. Not sure if this was a factor. But gonna buy the oem style after I get it out. Don't believe its a short because the problem is not intermittent. Gonna try replacing the blower motor, resistor & plug if it looks burnt. In your opinion or if someone else that's knows these symptoms please chime in, would you say that's a sounds like a sound plan of attack to in all likelihood resolve my issue or is this over kill? Thanks!
