I've been in and out of the car business for many years. Flipping cars, fixing cars, building cars/trucks and selling them. Your videos are refreshing! Educational! Transparent! Informative! I REALLY appreciate in so many ways what you are doing with the content of your videos. I live in NC and in the middle of a fairly depressed economic area. Since I've been watching your videos I've realized this is an advantage to me. I can buy cars cheaper, spend less money repairing them and after watching this video, I can market them to a better audience with more success AND a better profit margin. Your rant on using FB as a "vehicle" to sell more cars/trucks (mostly trucks) is exactly what I needed to hear! FYI: my brother and I were cruising around looking at foreclosed homes (potential rental units for him) a week ago and he said, "hey, pull in here, I want to talk to this guy." One man body shop out in the middle of a rural farming area and from the road, looked like an old barn. He had converted it over time to a one man "body shop" with a homemade spray booth. No frame straightening or alignment, he subbed that out and the guy appeared to be in mid to late 70's. I asked if I could take a look around outside, he gave me the nod. Walking around out back there are: a couple of 1966 mustangs, a couple of early 70's Novas, a 66 chevy ll, 67 C10 shortbed stepside (no rust) and what I think is a GTO from the mid 70's (nova body style). All of them except chevy ll had the glass in them and not showing a lot of "cancer" since they are all probably southern cars (NC). Needless to say, I'll be stopping back by at some point in the future to see if I can work some magic to eliminate his burden of storing all of them. lol Again, thanks for taking the time to produce these videos AND KEEP THEM COMING!!!

I have been in business since 2011 and I started on Craiglist too. I don't do my sales on FB market place yet but my buddy does his sales 100% on FB market place and he sells good running cheap cars on there and he sells about 8 to 15 units a week . He makes $1k a piece .

I’ve been selling on cl for years, not just cars but anything that will profit. It seems lately, in the past year or so, it’s becoming an absolute swamp, as opposed to the regular everyday swamp it’s been. Lol. I’ve been looking for another avenue and ding, this pops up!! Maybe fb is it. Never had a fb page,(yes I live under a rock or at least try to) and always said I’d only get one to promote a business. Hey Craig, How are you able to post on Facebook marketplace under your business? I cant seem to get them posted unless its under my personal page and put my dealer info on there without paying for an actual ad set!

You can target up to 50 miles from your location on FB. I have had great success with it. Same situation I am in a small town but I target the bigger locations around me. I probably do about 15-20 cars a month off of FB alone each month.

facebook marketplace sucks balls though. Do a search for something, say, F150 wheels, and you get wheels for sale for a honda civic, dodge ram, subaru, and maybe 4 or 5 for F150's. Do a search for used F150's and the second listing is a Chev Silverado. This is what happens when you have computer geeks trying to create a "marketplace".
LetGo and OfferUp are also apps that local people use..
