- Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) instructors and trainees in the United States Air Force are no ordinary Airmen. Take a look at their SERE Specialist Training Orientation Course at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis, Texas.

SERE selection is no joke. I went through this past November and didn't make it through. Seriously considering going back though as soon as they let me.
Can I ask you why you didn't make it through? What happened?
Did you get to pick your next job?
@@speed_elf they gave me a dream sheet where I could put four jobs that I wanted. I didn’t get any of them.
Yeah from what I hear it is like 50/50 if you get your dreams jobs, it’s all about how they evaluate your skills and what the force needs
Also what made you not pass
I’m going to meps soon. And SERE and Pararescue are at the top of list of jobs I want (if I qualify of course). But I’m afraid of swimming and jumping out the plane. I don’t want to limit myself and at least not TRY to accomplish my goals. But it’s just scary to me. I wish I could get past this feeling
@@29palms37 I’m not faint of heart at all. I just start second guessing it and thinking about all the what ifs. I still might try the PJs tho

Awesome training, however.. music was annoying as f**k. Made it hard to watch
It’s always better to choose either no music or a laid back but catchy instrumental
Sere - survive, evacuate the innocents, reducing the enemy to nothing, execute the next mission.
you can ask any recent graduate...the "enemy" at the shool????? its not china or Russians..the military IS TRAINING against CHRISTIAN "extremist"
