Look at the back end. This will DEFINITELY be the next Ridgeline design!! Looks like the bed area is being teased with the side profile of the passport. Can’t wait.
I would love this in an elite trim without the off roading features. Honda will tap into the Highlander loyalists like myself who are waiting for a regular Highlander redesign. The only suggestion I would have would be for Honda to put the spare tire underneath the vehicle in an elite trim if they were to produce this trim model...Otherwise, I love this new 2026 Passport redesign!
I love this vehicle, but I wish auto manufacturers would stop thinking that so many people are going rock climbing with their vehicles. That market is less than 2% of all buyers!
Might not be rock climbing exactly. But functional off road capability will be a benefit to everyone who lives in a winter environment. Even if you never leave a city. If there's snow, there's great benefits of having larger wheels and off road capability.
This looks great but I don't ever see myself going off road. I like off road looks but live in a place I have no reason to. Spend the money for something I won't use because it looks good or find something else :(
Hate to say this as a huge Toyota fan, but this looks much better than the new 4 Runner. The new 4 Runner with the turbo and transformer look is a fail.
Love the look and the direction. The off road packaging is geared towards a very small section of buyers though-and seems to be the whole identity of the new Passport. Honda, want to hit a literal home run? Offer a ‘northern climate’ version also. Certainly remote start, heated seats and steering wheel-add snow and ice drive modes over off road, tires optimal for that-and nail the whole package with rear AND front windshield defrost (the filament type) as well as mirrors as well. Long Alaska winters are also common in a lot of the US and Canada-this is what we really need
I really hope they have some alternative to the fake hood scoop. Something functional, perhaps? Maybe it will be something someone else can make or fabricate to make it more functional.
@67keyakaren68 so are jeeps & 4/ runners!! Nothing straight from the dealership are Ture off road vehicles!! My brother and family have so called off road jeeps break down all the time My brother and family are always working on the peacee of crap Always having to replace part after part !!
Not a fan of how all car makers now are “introducing” their vehicles a bit here, a bit there. When they’re in production and ready to head to dealerships…then start the reviews. Heck, the 2025 FourRunners STILL aren’t available and they introduced those over 6 months ago 🫤
I've been looking for something to replace my 2007 Honda Element (250,000 miles to date). I think this is it.
Those early Honda elements are a gem. I always see comments about them.
typical honda homers buying products worse than the competition

Great looking rig with an awesome v6 power train! great job Honda
Thinking of replacing my 2018 X3 with this….love me a Honda V6!
I hope it will come in colors other than the orange or green I've seen.
What a Great styling for the 2026 Passport.🙌🏻

Horrendous review. Next time leave the comedian side at home
That's really a step up for Honda. At this unveiling, is their any discussion that the Ridgeline will follow this model? (I'm a Ridgeline owner.)

If this thing comes to canada with a block heater, heated mirrors, and a battery on both sides of the engine bay, this vehicle will be perfect.

Yeah right. Good luck.
I'm not trying to be rude but what does it matter that they're not functional besides cleaning them out I guess
it’s a fake 4x4. The whole thing is a fake
