So glad they kept the v6 and never went with a turbo. We have a Passport now and will be getting this new model when it’s time for a new vehicle. Good review guys, glad for the Canadian content.
Minimal piano black plastic, increased capability, excellent V6 engine and great looks inside and out. Likely as capable as any regular person would need. What a win by Honda.
I feel like y'all's editing got way better for these autoshow videos. Love the interwoven clips of the vehicle on the trail, and the cuts between y'all. I love this channel so much! So excited to see your channel experiencing growth!
Thank god they kept the V6. Definately interested in this. Like the smaller package then the pilot. I don't need a third row. This reminds me a bit of the Element which was a fantastic vehicle.
I just traded in my lemon 2023 Honda Pilot Elite for the same in the 2025 model, and a small part of me wishes I had known of this passport update before the trade in.😅 I love that they finally updated a vehicle in their lineup to be more rugged and off-road capable to compete with the 4Runner. The larger infotainment system (9”-12”) compared to the pilot, orange paint option, ground clearance, and tow hook are big bonuses. My qualm is that there is no third row option which is my favourite part of the pilot. I’d love to see Honda update the trailsport or elite trim level of the Pilot with the more rugged options available in this passport + optional 3rd row! If Honda could make their models more customizable it would be best of both worlds for people like me who love to camp but also have interior space for pax. Anyways, great video guys!! 😊
New Passport looks great. I drive a 2017 Ridgeline and I've been pondering what I would replace it with. I think the Passport is it for me. You two do such a great job with your reviews! Love your content!
The new passport looks great. No gimmicky design features or fluff. This is gonna age really well, and probably be one of the last good Honda's to keep long term. The v6 and auto transmission without any hybrid or mild hybrid system is a good thing imo
I love the real buttons and knobs. I rented a new Mustang convertible in Hawaii last month and the controls were a nightmare. You had go through hoops to change anything; I'd never buy that car for that reason. Simple is good.
I'm waiting for the Ridgeline redesign, but they did a fantastic job with the Passport. I really hope they carry some of these same design elements to the truck.
Skid plates and recovery hooks are a great add…hope this follows through to the Pilot. There’s just more room in the Pilot. That became obvious to me when you showed the tire vertically mounted in the back. Your thumb nail says Pilot that’s what made me click! I have a 2022 Pilot Trailsport, I have driven passports, but prefer the longer interior. Also, when hauling children, I prefer the bucket seats 2nd row, makes for easier movement into the 3rd row, plus third row long legged people can stretch on longer trips. Boo on the no height adjustment. Makes for a longer ride, for taller people who can not get comfortable. Good info You mentioned higher ground clearance by 1 inch, so what is the ground clearance? 8.5” 10 speeds, too many gears…5 would be so much more comfortable. I have a 9 speed and when driving by school zones or in Parks, that 12-25mph is uncomfortable, especially if it’s even slightly hilly… seems to have a hard time picking the right gear. Good show you 2 Thx
I would urge caution as the 26 passport still using the J35 engine but in the double overhead cam configuration- J35Y8 massive recall on all J35 engines for rod bearing failures. Honda using a bandaid to temporarily resolve the issue by replacing the bearings.(cost saving measure) problem lies in the crankshaft bearings which were incorrectly manufactured. the problem will reoccur down the rd.
Plus Plus from me. Like the Design more than the 4Runner and it does away with the small engine + turbo issue. It'll be like 60k CAD ... which makes me sad however.
The Honda plant in Lincoln Alabama will be cranking alot of these out !They have a great test track across the interstate at the Talladega superspeedway 😊
Not sure how i feel about this one, will need to see it in person. Exterior styling, while better than the previous version, still looks subdued and cute looking to me. Thats honda designs for you though i guess.
As a former Passport owner, I cannot tolerate those button shifters. It occupies space on the console, and thus has ZERO advantage over an actual shift-knob. Why not provide a shift-knob anyway, Honda ?
Pretty sure a lot of guys will go all out to get this car. Do whatever it takes. It will be a fight, like the one for toilet paper during pre covid. But probably worth it. Where else do you get such looks and reliable V-6
Considering 90% of SUV's don't get taken off road, why would Honda make 2 out of the 3 trims Trailsport off road types and only 1 (and a base model) as a road going trim!! Come on Honda, this vehicle will never compete with the likes of Jeep and Toyota TRD models!!!
This is perfect for Suzie to drop off little Hunter at school. She will fit right in the enormous line of giant SUVs every morning at the local elementary. The only dirt they will ever see is when they misjudged the curb.
It;s not even 2025 yet... You gotta ask yourself why ALL car companies now are losing money and have overstock in their dealerships. How about making cars with what people really want. Perhaps instead of useless Green initiatives that are turning out to be car killers. I would forego the fancy screens for a vehicle that is going to last me 9 years, like all of the vehicles I have purchased in the past. If it becomes a problem I will compute how much money it will cost to Uber everywhere instead. It might be ridiculously cheaper !!!

MASSIVE improvement inside and out
Nope. Google 2023 GMC Acadia. It definitely looks like a carbon copy.
Thank you for keeping V6 Honda!!!
The new Passport looks great!!
their v-6s get recalled

Great job Honda. Wasn't aware about the spare tire in the back. Now offer a trailsport Ridgeline or CR-V would be awesome.
Very rugged, masculine vehicle. I love this more than the Pilot.
Nope. Google 2023 GMC Acadia. It looks like a carbon copy.
Can you show us how the back seats fold down? Do they fold down flat?
The elite trim looks sick.
Yea the kids vomited in it.
This is the first good looking Honda in years. Hope they continue with this design language in their other models
Think again. This is very similar to the 2023 GMC Acadia. I don't think it looks like a Honda.
It looks like a reimagined Honda Element @@JoeE.
@@JoeE. Naw looks like the OLD honda Pilot. Just updated. Most people will like it.
This Passport really has me looking forward to the next Ridgeline.

This is on my short list for my next purchase mainly because it doesn't have a tiny turbo engine! Lets gooo
yes.....v6 strong 👌👍
This is a big win for Honda love the looks and the N/A v6. No turbo crap for me
Thank you for this review. On a different, are there any Canadian reviews of the 2025 Equinox? Many Thanks, Graham.
Very impressed, ticks all boxes, where 2025 4runner is a let down with cheap Tacoma plastic and complex four as only engine. Congrats Honda.

Me too if I convince my wife instead of a toyota! Her favorite color is green that might do it

I see Bronco Sport rear quarter and GMC Acadia front with with this Land Cruiser/FJ vibe. It does look good overall and V6 is a win.
Looks like Honda nailed it with this model ❤
I love the "new" design. It reminds me of a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder, an SUV I owned and loved.
The new passport looks great. No gimmicky design features or fluff. This is gonna age really well, and probably be one of the last good Honda's to keep long term. The v6 and auto transmission without any hybrid or mild hybrid system is a good thing imo
Honda FINALLY got it right
I love this SUV can't wait until it comes out...I just might lease one!!
Does the sunroof open all the way or just half the way??
Now we're talking!! A regular V6 engine with an automatic transmission. Thank you honda, for listening to your customers!!

Zak and Andrea, do you have any information on what trims will be offered in Canada?

8.3 ground clearance
Looks like a 1998 Isuzu Amigo with an extra door.
Hopefully they carry this styling over to the 2026 Pilot
Great looking and much nicer than the previous model!!! The Ridgeline will be changed to look like the Passport, only in a pickup form!!!
FINALLY, A Different Exterior Color Scheme 😍 I LOVE ORANGE 🧡 🍊 😍 🇺🇲🇨🇦😎 Maybe Honda Will Give Us a Yellow Exterior Color??🇺🇲🇨🇦
This will more than likely replace my 2020 GC High Altitude. Jeep made a huge mistake not adding the hurricane engine to the new Grand Cherokee.
I am not crazy about dashboard others will like it. Good size of the vehicle. Good show Andrea! ☕️☕️
Vehicle is pretty neat, but the transitions you used, with the passport driving, are EXCELLENT 😃👏👍

Us too!
Isn’t there an upcoming recall on Honda V6 motors. I read that 1.4 million Honda and Acura Models with the V6 are affected in theUS.
What about the non-trailsport? That’s what I’d want to see.
The Honda plant in Lincoln Alabama will be cranking alot of these out !They have a great test track across the interstate at the Talladega superspeedway 😊
How many trims? No entry touring trim? No dual exhaust outlets?
We saw you on TFL reviewing this one! 🤣
Oh that's funny!
It looks better than the 4Runner, but I can do without that hood vent thingy.
Hopefully Honda will keeps the V6 for me to get the Passport in 4-5 years

Would there be an Acura version?
I'm impressed. Nice package.
Why can’t that screen size go into the Pilot and CRV ? Very good review. When does Honda release info on the other Passport Trims ?
Are prices in Canada more than the USA?
About $10000 more in Canada just like every other new vehicle in canada
It’s a nice refresh, but the exterior looks similar to a Nissan Pathfinder.
Just because they keep the v6. I will make it my choice.
The all-new, 2026 Honda Passport is re-designed.
As a former Passport owner, I cannot tolerate those button shifters. It occupies space on the console, and thus has ZERO advantage over an actual shift-knob. Why not provide a shift-knob anyway, Honda ?
This will be my next vehicle. I have a 2011 Pilot and was looking at the 4Runner, but after seeing this, it makes the new 2025 4Runner look cheap.
this is a pilot with the bumpers cut off. Nothing is cheaper than the passport
