It looks cool but it’s AWD not a true 4x4. Unless they work complete magic with brake vectoring or something it will not perform well when multiple wheels lose traction at the same time.
Beautiful design with the super reliable V6 with some minor upgrades to it. Win Win! I did however expect a higher ground clearance, especially with 33” tires on the Trailsport. Great every day commuter with excellent light of roading capabilities.

I agree with you, however, much is to be blamed on the Indian public. Even when Honda had amazing offerings like the civic and accord, the Indian public was too immature to actually appreciate those cars.

I have an old 1996 Rodeo/Passport. I would have loved to see the spare tire on the rear hatch for the added rugged look and also to pay homage to the classic passports.
I like that the styling hearkens back to the old Rodeo/Passport. I feel like it could use a small lift, though. With a 2 inch lift and 33's, that thing could go just about anywhere.
How things have changed. Our domestic automakers used to be known for their big V8s and 6-cylinder engines, while the Japanese for their efficient smaller engines. It’s the other way around now with Ford and GM fitting their SUVs with underpowered 3-cylinder engines. Meanwhile, Honda’s kept its V6.
Build this type of cars in India, it will be a good competitor for fortuner. We buy cars with good look, reliability, safety and features. Indians are not poor they are rich because roads are filled plastic fortuner cars. I hope Honda will bring this car to India.

Hopefully new Ridgeline design has this front end. Even if it gets the pilot front end it’s still a win. I hope the truck as a clean look. Not those weird likes like on the current Ridgeline to make it look like the bed is separate. The unibody look is just fine like the original Ridgeline had. Honda should look at the Silverado EV side profile for inspiration
Looks like the 80s 90s Nissan Pathfinder. Thats a good thing. Excellent styling. Let’s see it with a lift kit, offroad shocks, and offroad tires. Love adventure vehicles.
