@@TollFreeTraveller Hi Rohit, have you considered swapping the exhaust with the Xpulse 200T? That has a lower mounting and I believe it will be easier to mount saddle bags. What are your thoughts?
Don't worry Brother... This tail tidy protects from mud as well... It won't make pillion dirty. I'm using this tail tidy already and I've even tested in proper monsoon in muddy off road. so it won't be a problem.
The way you talk, your calm and relaxed presentation style, the ambient music . I haven't seen an indian review done this well before. I Loved it. Well done!
Aah ekdum mera jaesa setup .. I kept asking viaterra for the rack but they didn't care to send me one... I have asked them so many times, even called Alex for the gs310 rack which I would have drilled holes but no response. Finally I ended up with a x83 rack which is heavy but does the job
Bro, you have made an absolutely valid point which I haven't thought about. Having a main stand is necessary when there is a puncture. Of course, this is not that valid with tubeless tyres as they can be repaired without removing the tyre ...
@Toll Free Traveller finally after scrolling and reading most of the comments, got the answer I was looking for and without troubling you and asking your height. I am surely going to take a test ride and definitely will not take your words for granted unless I experience it myself. I have dropped the plans for the VSTROM 650XT, CB500X and now narrowed down to XPULSE 200 where I found your vlogs. Your experiences are so profound and I am afraid that someday I would bump into you. Have a beautiful experience called "LIFE" So Long !
Recently subscribed to your channel and I found you talk absolutely on the point. No drama No mirch Masala.. Just pure experience 👍 Keep it up brother ✌
it is really good to see that you buy a beginner level bike and modding on it.. give it a lot more rugged feel which it requires..! thanks fo the hard worked video.
Most beautifully covered... Each of your well thought out mods... All except one, as per me... And that's the getting rid of mudguards, just for looks!!! It feels like the oddball in the thought process, where an adventurer fell for looks, over functionality🤷🤷... That said, more power to you... And when you feel its worthwhile, to get the original muduards back again, do think of me🤗🤗👍
Hahaha. Thank you. I'm conscious of the limitation that comes with the tail tidy which is why I mentioned it in the video. I'm not often in a situation where I'm riding in. city traffic on a wet day. If I were to ever be there i would be careful to not spray the crowd. So, for the most part, this has been okay for me.
Very practical changes....a small recommendation...maybe get a rear tire hugger...good for aesthetics and may also restricts the throwback problem to quite an extent!! Safe riding!👍
Very useful and practical mods. Just get ppf on bike as tank bags or off roading can cause scratches on the body and it's not costly too u can get Matt and gloss ppf depending on color and get good fog lamps too..👍
I like the modifications of the seat it makes riding much more comfortable especially for long motor bike trips balance of the modifications depends on individual choice but overall you have done a great job. Thanks
I am also thinking of buying the bike next year ,so thank you so much for all the tips on the accessories ,will surely buy those ,p.s the stock tail 🤮tail tiding is a must
Thoroughly and practically explained 👌🏻... may not be much of in terms of mods, but you clearly described all the aspects of the changes that are very practical for touring and city rides.... loved it... 👏🏻 hoping to ride along someday!✌🏻🙃
One of the finest videos I saw on youtube about the modifications. Can you please provide some references for the modifications that are available for Hero Xpulse 200T 2021 BS6 model.
After using risers if you need longer brake lines use Himalayan brake lines. Also if you need longer clutch cables try Hero Honda Ambition cables. You'll get 3rd party one from a manufacturer called 'Jaggi Gold' for 121 rs. Alternatively you can try Hero Ignitor/ Honda Stunner cables. :)
That's some really useful mods. Hope you get to ride even more challenging off roads and get the thrill out of it. By the way based on your video I too did the Bisle Ghat, kuduremukh GRIT. It was simply awesome. Just returned yesterday! Thanks for your input. And I also visited hemakoota homestay just to see where you had stayed. that way I felt more connected to your channel 😂 Happy riding!👍
Looks great.. now need some side lights for off road. And I think a little bit more ground clearance will help, I know you have to see if it works for you but it will help, specifically when you are loaded. But so far really nice..
Thanks. Electrical stuff after a while. Also, given that I'm not a hardcore off-roader and actually travel a fair bit on this bike I'm okay with the ground clearance for now. But, never say never. Hahaha
Thanks, a very well made vedio, the discriptions are spot-on. I don’t live in India anymore but am planning an off-road trip for a few months when I visit home next (route not decided yet). I have been researching some bikes that I would like to buy and then modify it for my trip, and I find your video & the choice of Xpules 200 quite interesting, and I have a few questions: 1. Are the options for aftermarket tanks (more capacity) available for the Xpulse. 2. In your experience taking the bike off-road (hard-pack murram roads), what is the milage you get with a full tank. 3. How are the handling characteristic of the bike when loaded with 10-14 kg luggage - stock suspensions, top heavy or is it still nimble and agile? 4. Are there aftermarket rear sprockets available for the bike? looking for a 45-48 tooth sprockets Thanks Prit.
Thank you. I don't ride in cities much so it's very rare that I'll be in traffic on a wet day. If I am, will just need to ride slowly and more carefully to be considerate.
Do you feel the tyres are fine and don't need any customization? For me, it felt like because they are regular tyres and not tubeless, so a flat tyre on a trip is cumbersome on a bike with dual discs and ABS no? I'm planning to buy this bike soon for myself, but 90% of the time I'm gonna be in a city doing house hold chores or going to office, so maybe it's not that critical for me anyways. Great video BTW. 👍
This tail rack is practical for the bike but it can prove to be very fatal in case someone hits you from back. Even a very small or negligible touch (may be in a redlight bumper to bumper jam) can be fatal to the hands of the rider behind your bike.
Hi, great video on modification ideas to suit both commuter and long ride needs. I would like to get info on the seat you have managed to get your hands on. Thinking of changing my bike seat to. Please suggest
