My X-Pulse 200 is now 2 years old, I recently did a ride with a pillion to Goa from Mumbai without any mods, the only problem I faced was the seat, it's not very comfortable for a long ride, but other than that, I had an amazing experience. Whether you buy this bike or not, it's the best you can buy for an adventure tour in that price range.
Haha cool. I had almost similar setup with clawbag, and Gaurdian Gear tankbag incl the Aux lights although I have the lower power Maddog. People thought the ASG tailbox was an icebox for beers. :-).
After the installation of saddle stay on my xpulse, I faced issue in finding saddle bag that could sit tight. Valcro straps are short when saddle stay are wide. Please suggest saddle stay that has long straps or saddle bag that could be fitted well. Thank you
Nope i did not...there is heatsheild on the silencer due to which nothing will happen to the bag..alternately when u load the bag...try to put the stuff in other side of the bag and keep exhaust side light so that the weight is a bit more on other side nbthe bag touches less to the silencer
I just came today after kedarnath and badrinath ride thinking too sale my classic 350 i m fed up with my vibrator should i switch too xpulse 200 or i should buy some diffrent one
If u are someone who has touring as purpose...I wud suggest not to buy xpulse bike .it's good for small trails and city riding...if budget is not a prob...buy ktm adv 250 or 390...I had ktm duke for 5 years and I can assure u ktm is way ahead of RE in terms of everything...but xpulse is not recommended if u wana tour long
Will the claw bag fit on the rack plate so that I can avoid a hideous saddle stay and unbalanced saddle bag while riding with a pillion? Taking delivery in couple of days and really looking for a good luggage solution with pillion
The claw bag will fit anywhere u want but u have to make sure the plate is of right size as per claw bag and also make sure to put some packing between the plate and claw bag so that the metal plate doesn't tear the claw bag
@@Simarjeet ok, thanks a lot for the reply. That gives me some peace of mind. I saw some rack plates with angled edges. Will try to get the largest one.
Can't say buddy...depends on ur riding style...like i never take my bike off the good road to muddy road just to overtake the front vehicle..the more u take ur bike off the good road the more the chance of it being puncture.. 👍
Hey, in most of the comments below, i understood this bike is not good for long touring due to seat discomfort and low power. apart from power, what about the air comfy cushion seats? Did it help ? Is it worth to invest for long touring?
There are two drawback of this bike...the major one is power...its damn too less.... secondly the built quality is not upto the mark.. i wud not recommend this bike for long touring..its damn good for city commute...air cushion seat is a must have...you will definately feel the difference....once u sit on that there is no gng back to sitting on stock seat...so i wud strongly recommend investing in it...✌️
Not that good to be honest..the power is super low when u ride with pillion...u cannot go above 60 to 70 kmph...the biggest drawback of this bike is the power...
All the prices are mentioned in description box...it's 3600 for the claw bag...yes it does touch a tiny bit...but shud not be damaged as the silencer has heat shield..
Hello there. I'm planning to buy a new bike. The plan is xpulse 200 or xpulse 4v. What are your thoughts? Right now I'm using yamaha fzs. All i need is riding comfort for me and the pillion and initial power. Saw so many videos saying on highway riding, xpulse is worst. Is that right? Expecting an honest review from you. Thanks.
Hi... Xpulse..let it be 200 or 4v is definitely not suited for long highway riding when it comes to power or seating comfort due to seat narrowness.. suspension are the best you or pillion will not feel a single bump but..seat and the engine power r really not upto the mark...on the other hand if ur riding is within city then xpulse is a good bike for daily commute....if budget is not a prob then go for ktm adv390.. hope this helps
@@Simarjeet Budget is a problem. And the spare parts cost for the 390 or any other bikes in this segment is high. I don't do highway travelling that much. Mostly i do city commutes. I rarely travel and i travel solo and my ride is about 100-150kms give or take. In some cases if me or some friends join me for a ride will that be a problem for the pillion?
@@nandudurgadas Hey, I own a Xpulse 4v, I am very satisfied with the bike in the city, I don't feel the bumps on the road and the initial power is pretty good. The seat needs some work, if you have to do 100kms + you and the pillion will face issues, the seat is too narrow, I would suggest installing a better seat, that might affect ride height. Personally I will get the grandpitstop air seat. Oh the highway this churns out decent power and it able to hold it's own on bad roads.
17000 kms done with xpulse 200..inshorts: save your hard earned money And go for some other bike in the market...story: I change engine oil for every 1500kms ..even after caring so much .....I was complaining from the 2nd service about a sound and excess heating of engine but the service team never bothered ...now the piston is broken ..service team didn't let me take the pic and replaced piston, head, piston rings n rod ....now before the next service I have a very annoying sound in engine ...service team again did some lathe work yet the issue persists..service team says they will bring their engineer and nobody has come yet after 1 month...I have met many xpulse owners from Kerala, Karnataka, TN and most of the owners have engine issues ....this bike is nothing but a product failure ...only thing hero does better about this bike is digital marketing to trap buyers ...

Use raiser along with ktm 390 handlebar for better handling

There is a heat shield on the silencer...it doesn't get that hot

Bhai comfortable hai bike?...and mileage kya hai
Bike is comfortable < 100km, you will start to feel pain cause of the narrow seat, would suggest get an air seat.
The mileage is 40kmpl.
