I asked him to repeat the words. He answered, "You said 'Mr. Watson - come here - I want to see you.'" We then changed places and I listened at S while Mr. Watson read a few passages from a book into the mouthpiece M. It was certainly the case that articulate sounds proceeded from S. The effect was loud but indistinct and muffled. Watson heard the words clearly and distinctly, and thus, the first working model of a telephone was born."

      @@blawson3603 I tend to agree.
For instance, while war is horrible, it is through the crucible of wartime that most of the largest scientific & medical advances are made. (the World Wars caused HUGE technological jumps. Not worth it, in my opinion, given the millions of deaths, but the point stands)
Similarly, an intense, focused project like this won't only save a couple hundred lives, (if successful) but will bring forth many scientific theories that probably wouldn't have even been conceived otherwise.

An event so unusual cuz they described that there were no tornado’s scheduled to occur.
So cold and miserable weather, and tornados getting scheduled.

They 'normally' communicate via subspace.. which is communication of faster than light.
But, as we know from other episodes where a Borg sent a single from the Alpha quadrant to the Delta it would take "x amount of hundreds of years".. 300 was it?
Okay, so subspace still takes a long time to travel for communications.. but you CAN send a signal from alpha to delta so, it basically 'goes on forever' got it..
So.. How does a communication relay work where they sent the doctor to the Alpha quadrant? How does putting a relay station extend a signal that goes on forever? How does it speed up a signal that is already going faster than light?
