- Holden teased us with the concept at the 1998 Sydney Motor Show before bringing back an Aussie Legend. We got our hands on a 2006 HSV GTO Coupe, so here it is.

It's been my biggest childhood dream to own a Holden Monaro and after 15 years of dreaming and many years of saving up, I pulled the trigger and imported an 06 VZ CV8 Monaro from the UK, where a few of them were sold as Vauxhalls, to my home country of Austria. I was able to find exactly what I wanted: final model year VZ CV8 styling, Sting Red, 6 speed manual, LS1 V8, garage kept, low mileage and in an unbelievable condition, a true testament to it's previous owner of 10 years, the biggest petrolhead and nicest guy I ever met in my life!
It is the only Holden vehicle in the country and as such, the legalization process took 8 months! But now I have my ultimate childhood dream car in the garage and it is every bit as amazing as I always imagined it would be, and even better. What a fantastic piece of automotive engineering and design!
My Monaro will stay with me for the rest of my life as a weekend GT car.

Saw one of these in British racing green with a deep crimson interior a few years back, still remember it; awesome machine.

Nice one! In comparison to other HSV's they can look a bit understated, but that just adds to the "sleeper" effect. Thanks for checking out the video.

it is a commodore with a few doors removed a 3inch roof chop and reinforced chassis. i love my cv 8 in phantom black

How can I import one of these, Holden Manero, HSV GTO’s into America?
Everyone wants the Nissan skyline or the Toyota supra in America because of fast and the furious with Paul Walker, and Vin Diesel. I want something that’s more special, and that will be more rare than any of those two Japanese imports. I want my very own Holden fleet in America. Especially now that hybrid, electric vehicles and full EV’s are taking over America. I want to continue the legacy of having an Australian build Holden in America since I have been bit by the bug since I purchased my 2006 Pontiac, GTO a.k.a. the Holden Monero.
It's not hard. Just talk to a broker who can import one for you.
If you want a really cool import car you should check out the Chevrolet Lumina SS. Check it out. It's a Chevy Australian model with an LS3 and it looks sick
