What can l say! I met Jarrod a few years back as his a neighbour in our street. I broke the ice walking past as l noticed the L.S.A blower lid sticking out the bonnet of his VY SS. What eventuated from there was a great friendship, l own a VF which l wanted to Super charge. He gave me a lot of pointers and ideas, and put me in the right direction. He tuned it and first crack was up over 550 plus kilowatts at the wheels. With his knowledge and expertise he pushed it back a little to save the engine to a strong reliable 525kw. I can only thank him and Richie also the gang at Accel Garage for the professional guidance and workmanship in making dreams come true for our 4 wheel LS machines. Wishing you more greatness in life 🤙💪

Love the wheels, really smart with the stock look just sized up. Had me scratching my head at first, knew they were the stock wheel, but couldn’t understand how old mate had the fitment so sweet. Great vid gents

No wonder he wants to keep going with the tuning with the EFI tuner software 👌 I think Shaun Ramsdell that worked at EFI performance before Whitey owned it...... All his tuning was in the same software or they specialised in Wold3D also back in the day. He's got so much potential with USA LS forums and he can be pioneer a new path forward...... especially now that many states super scrutinise the after market ECUs. Some states can be engineered with a smog test nox and co output (E85👌) and then they goop up epoxy the port on the ECU and give you a mob plate. That still doesn't stop police.....but this guy is mitigating that 3 steps ahead. So it's definitely worth while persuing. Wish him all the best. I love you VY VZ hard body line 👌 so aggressive looking. One of the best commodore body styles in my opinion
4L60e ftw Currently have 383rwkw on 9psi harrop, no problems with the standard 4L60e. No intentions of doing a conversion, i want to be able to use the overdrive and should a problem arrrise a simple in/out swap with easy replacement offshelf parts Well built rigs. Proof less is more

Jarrod tuned my 427ci N/A Monaro and completely turned it around driving and power wise. Very friendly guy and it’s definitely best to take his advice when it comes to the LS engine 👍

Awesome feature. I hate the sound of a supercharger whine but love the sound of instant throttle response. A long time ago I got a VS S3 Calais with the L67 supercharged V6 and was very surprised at how well it picked up. It was in great condition, a bit of a shape to tear it apart. I wanted to put the driveline in an old Hilux and the interior in my VS ute, though I had a fallout with the person where it was at their property and decided it wasn't worth the drama.
i wish i could own a matching N/A version of my xr50t ute, but kinda inherited my grand fathers VU SS ute his owned since new. stock standard, bad faded and lightly scratched paint from a belt buckle loading hay bales and dogs collar at his hobby farm but perfect otherwise so ive just been using that for a daily. I just want to change head units/stereo so i can use Spotify and Maps legally, and a tow bar because its easier to load 8ft+ long Harleys onto a low bike trailer
I'd take supercharged with an fi interchiller over the turbo as the fun car but also it's tame being supercharged, the big thing is heat transference and being I'm in Perth turbo has so much more heat transference they both great but having a 6.0 VE with a 2300 Harrop is the best thing ever i can drive like it's stock or give it the Berries and the AFR still stays good and IAT are more than reasonable and low, mates with turbo cars have alot of over heating issues, but this is more location based verse if your in Melbourne or something different story but I'd still be taking a blower they are much more efficient than the old junk
I can honestly say I've taken this car to Echuca which is 2.5hrs from Melbourne in 43* heat and did not have one single issue. I even made it there on a 3/4 of a tank of E85!
@@ACCELGarage you answered quite alot more there though using E85 verse pump fuel is a huge cooling instance, there are so many variables but here in Perth E85 little more painful and not many places unless your buying some drums.. IAT would drop dramatically using E85
@@Mavo1989 combustion temperatures are reduced yes, however the intake air temperature sensor is on the intercooler tube entering the engine so I can only tune to what the engine thinks its seeing. Turbo cars do have better intake air temps over blowers though and its a real shame you dont have E85 locally. It really is race fuel at the pump provided you can get it and have the fuel system for it.
Both nice clean cars....ive always run/owned and operated big boost japanese cars....but when it comes to v8s its gotta be a supercharger....went for a ride in a full house blown vk the other day, good for nothing could hardly see what was in front of us through the windscreen but f&$k it was cool 😎.... respect to anyone who sends time and money on the internal combustion engine, That Jarrod bloke seemed to know his shit

The wheels aren't quite right, they look like thunder wheels, the spokes have a kink in them instead of having a smooth curve like the VY SS Wheels
The "kink" was done on purpose :) The SSX concept car included the "kink" (concave) which we incorporated into the design.
