EDIT: I almost wanted to re-record this because I didn't comment on his incredible technique at 5:33 but I decided not to as it wouldn't be my fresh, raw reaction if I did. I've listened to this performance many times since this recording and I can't believe I didn't say anything the first time... I guess I was just in so much awe from his techniques right before that my mind couldn't even comprehend what he just did there. I've listened to a lot of singers of different genres of music, and they were all good, but, not one puts as much emotion into songs as Dimash. He sings "Ikanaide" so emotionally that you almost believe he is singing about something personal. Your Love is another example, and "Adagio" gave me chills, as most of his music does really. To really learn about Dimash, may I suggest you watch a series of videos called "The Ultimate Guide To Dimash. It is a series of 12 videos and they really show a more intimate and personal side of Dimash. Also, there are many interviews with his family, teachers, his production crew, and just folks in general who have had points of contact with the off-stage Dimash. He is a very humble, kind, and caring person.

Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). "The song Sinful Passion, was first performed in 1998 by the Kazakh group A’STUDIO and gained leading positions in the CIS charts. Sinful love soon visibly materialized in the clip with soloist Batyrkhan Shukenov. The talented vocalist left the band in 2000. Without the lead singer, “Sinful Passion”, recorded with the help of an English producer, lay in obscurity for nearly 20 years, never becoming a worldwide hit until Baigali Serkebaev seized it. He offered Dimash to play it in 2018, twenty years after its premiere. The words of the song are the inspiration of the famous poet and composer, People's Artist of Russia and Ukraine Ilya Reznik. Group A - Studio in 2018 celebrated its 30th anniversary. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.
The thing with the flowers has something to do with respect for the artist. It's a cultural thing. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating.
This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. Two mistakes made by the host: first, Dimash was not in "The Voice" China but in Hunan TV show "I am singer"; second, the song is not "sinful LOVE" (as he said) but "SinfulPassion".
This is a cover of Sinful Passion originally by A´Studio. The bass and the piano players were part of that band and the second was one of the songwiters.

He introduced himself to Dimash after the concert snd offers to come out of retirement to collaborate, write songs and accompany him on the piano. Stranger and Olympico are just two of the many songs he wrote for Dimash.

If you want to judge the quality of the man, watch the Emei Mountain Music Festival mini-concert. ua-cam.com/video/okY61alUS04/v-deo.html. Since it is a music festival, I assume that there were other acts, and he was the last on the schedule because it was getting dark and beginning to rain heavily when he came on stage. As always, he was very grateful to his fans for waiting hours to see him. He could have canceled or taken cover under one of the 3 large tents onstage. He did not. His jacket finally got so soaked that he had to take it off, leaving him in a white t-shirt. By then, it was cold, too. He did not request a replacement for it, nor did he keep the umbrella handed to him. He sang 6 songs and apologized to his fans when he ran out of time. He asked for permission to sing one more song, and really stretched it out. They finally started turning out the lights on him, and he had to reluctantly say goodnight to his fans. I also recommend The Story of One Sky, his anti-war video. Both the studio and live performances are amazing, but it's probably best to start with the studio version first. He spent 3 years of his life and 7 million dollars of his own funds to make it. It was his conception, and he wrote the storyline, the song, and the screenplay. He directed and starred in the 13-minute film. He is a multi-talented guy, and helping to bring about peace in the world is his #1 goal.
You are a musician and doctor, i think you are also accomplished. But Dimash has been studying one form of music since he was 5. If you want to watch Dimash videos freely, i guess you need to do daily videos.
