'Don't cut to Reva' just sums this show up. It was brilliant in parts but she dragged it down so much
Lmao 66 likes nice. The show wouldn't be anything without reva as she's the only one that posed a threat to Luke and Leiah being exposed. Her character shouldve played as a more sneaky character that plays as someone who truly fears the empire and Vader rather than someone who speaks out and causes conflict. This would make more sense for her to flip at the end.

When Qui Gon said that to Obi Wan, to me it sounded like in a way that Obi Wan has still much to learn, despite everything he still a padawan too. Just a humorous thought.

Vader should of killed Reeva in episode 5
i honnestly one of those who liked Reva's character, but yeah, her arc would have been way more emotional if she was killed by Vader. I liked her fight vs him tho, nice inquisitor technics.
@@rman4539 one way to improve on Reevas arc is after Vader destroys the first ship escape he grabs a hold of the second ship escaping and before Vader can destroy the second shp Reeva sneaks up and attacks Vader allow the everyone on the second ship to get away, then Vader leaves Reeva to die
Reeva shouldn't of been able to escape from that planet as the only other ship that had a hyper drive was the one Vader destroyed

Fan service does not save this God-awful series.
I still wanted Obi wan to meditate in the ship, before he faces Vader. Where he just sits and dissemble and assembles his lightsaber, where you see the crystal and then finally get in touch with the force again, where he can see Qui gon for first time and then again at the end.
I wish we got that scene but he only heard qui gon. Maybe like whispers or encouraging things.
The progression of his strength returning was a story arc unto itself, mentioned by Vader specifically. The crescendo being that Obi gains so much balance that he has one foot in each reality and can see clearly.
A trait we all should strive for!

@@Tocaraca i think she was most of the time, it's just that the lines they gave her were awful and her story arc didn't make sense. she should have died by Vader or just left the show after being defeated instead of somehow teleporting to Tatooine and having a weird showdown at the Lars farm with no stakes.

Clearly the two most influential SW characters for you are of course Darth Vader, and Qui-Gon Jinn. I feel the same way.
The thing about Star Wars and all that is related to it is the conflict. Its the human condition that defines us. Do we do good or do we do bad. Star Wars has always been so good at articulating that and I think it goes without saying on this episode of Obi Wan. I tell you this much, I cried too in many parts of this series including when Qui Gon appeared.
If the first 5 episodes were andor level writing. And the last episode remained basically the same except either cut or make the reva stuff interesting. It would have been such a banger show dude. It had so much potential RIP. Like why the hell are they trying to build stakes for a character we already know makes it to the next movie. Nobody in their right mind is like “oh shit is Luke gonna die?” Also something about seeing Luke with jedi/sith before a new hope doesn’t sit right with me. U think he would’ve brought this experience up during the OT
Quigon Jinn is a Jedi with a particular set of skills.
I loved your empathy in your reaction, you went were I'd like to have but, I have pretty bad anxiety and have learned over the years to block the worst moments out deleting the opportunity for the good ones like this. It was heart warming to see.

Yeah man I cried several times throughout the show as well. People may be displeased with some of the episodes, but that last one was peak Star Wars.

Qui-Gon is my favorite character in Star Wars and I has been since 1999. I couldn't wait to see him again.
Dude.. for people our age (30s) who were born in the mid to late 80s and early 90s, qui gon is our obi wan for the old heads and people need to realize that. We may be star wars fans of the complete series but a lot of us were introduced to star wars with EP 1 - 3 when it came out. I love your reaction because it is genuine and we all know the feeling. My issue with qui-gon’s force ghost appearing is that it was stated very clearly in the clone wars that he could only manifest his consciousness after death, not his body.
yeah, but as only Obi Wan see him, we can assume that his vision is a "mental projection of Qui-Gonn's voice he ear in his head", not an actual Force Ghost. Not much of a stretch right ? ;)
@@rman4539 as much as I hate Disney I can explain him as a force ghost maybe in certain parts of the world where the force Is strong enough he can appare like that planet in clone wars however it was bad timing an meant nothing he should of heard his voice when Vader buried him saying don't give in obi wan or something meaningful
No, it was stated that he never completed his training. There’s an entire Clone War arc dedicated to showing that force entities can manifest themselves in different forms, even tangible ones.
The Force can influence life itself, so why is it so hard to believe that Qui-Gon was able to further his knowledge/connection to the force after his death?
I don’t get it, why must every little thing be explained to you guys? There is so much open to implied understanding. The sequels, for example, are really fucking good movies based on the pure fact that they actually continue the SW universe as if it realistically would have. You just kinda have to use your brain a bit. Which seems to be the clear issue with you people.

I hope they don’t quit on this show. I’m not sure where they can go from here but I want to see more obi-wan. In a perfect world we’d have another obi-wan season and I know it’s probably not going to happen but a live action Jedi fallen order/ Survivor show would be so cool. I mean you have cal himself and pretty much every other character.

Qui Gon gives me lots of memories, I remember that he was very hard to find in a Toy line called GALACTIC HEROES, it was The Toy I wanted, bc he was My favorite character.
It didn't really make sense how Obi-Wan just leaves Vader alive again, especially knowing what damage that did the first time around. The writers could've justified it by having the inquisitors pull up just as Kenobi is about to finish him. Obi-Wan would fight off and kill a few, as he's forced to flee while the remaining inquisitors bring Vader back to the ship. Because Obi-Wan had just reached peak connection to the force, it'd have been great to watch him overwhelm the inquisitors during a retreat.
Couldnt say it would ever make me cry. But the man lives and breathes Star Wars. I mysell love it. but to let your soul bleed for something you love in indeed strong

I meen, all in all I loved this series, a lot of new fluff involved, but so many scenes (especially this last episode) just felt like the star wars I grew up with and restored my love for star wars

I mean the show had its issue like most of the shows Disney handles but the Obi-wan/Vadar scenes were great. It told the story of them beautifully. Some pretty emotional scenes.

I mean the Obi Wan Show had its moments that were even more stupid that stuff that happens in the most recent show (I guess this phrasing might never get old lol) but it had these moments, that brought us to tears…these are the important moments, and this is what the recent stuff i missing because there is no love in it.
