Buying fancy hot wire cutters is NOT minimum effort. No, you should NOT trust a tool for 1/4 of the cost that a good one costs. If Luke had that thing last for years, he was an exception to the rule. That cutter looked like it was made of tin-foil. Sick of the videos that are "so easy to do" but then use specialty tools. Not against these tools, but don't advertise them as "all can do". Just trying to keep everyone honest here. #ConstructiveCriticism

I like to use Heavy Duty Plastic Yard bags to toss the foam panels in the grout...similar to coating Shake-N-Bake Chicken...LOL, limited mess and easy cleanup. Roll up the bags afterward for the next use. You can have several bags in different base grout colors.

I got some pink foam insulation from Home Depot (Canada) 1/2” thick, 8 foot x 2 foot for about $8.00 a piece.
    What I’ve seen for comparison...
    If it’s 50£(UK) it’s $100(CAN)
    If it’s $100(USD) it’s $115-$150(CAN)
Canada and the USA have a lot of fluctuations in their exchange rates.

For the love Khorne, wear a dust mask/paint respirator. I don't care if it only takes you 1 minute to spray or dust your piece; you should always use a mask. Takes 5 seconds to put on.
None of that, "Eh, just this once." or "This will be quick..." shite -- dust, paint and other chemicals don't care how quick you are. Many 'quick' jobs done maskless add up to a lot of exposure in the long run.
Save your lungs. Your elderly self will thank you.
