*2 second intro* "Hello! Let's begin by making a stone wall." Did I black out for the 5 minute explanation of what terrain is that I 100% already know? No? This channel just gets to the point? Subscribed.
Man, your terrain videos are SO refreshing. I finally don't see it as something you need high end tools or special materials to make it. Cant wait to try it myself!
3:25 This made me smile! :) On the one hand seeing this old picture of the orc-wall again (nostalgic) and on the other it was also the first terrain i made myself.
This is helping me alot! Not a lot of local store keep miniature basing materials, so finding new and creative ways to make my bases help ALOT! Thanks again
I've recently just started painting my Zombiecide collection. I want to create tile square holders with broken wall all around them. This is what I needed. Thanks!
Hi Miscast T, glad you're coming back. I make scratch WW2 dioramas and thought your ideas were excellent. Love the walls and barricades. Keep up up please mate. Blessings from Ireland.
Wow this is actually really clever. What a great channel I stumbled on here. You get straight to the point and leave out a lot of unnecessary detail that just causes people to copy it.
Oh god he just gets straight to it. No camera too close to his face. Multiple builds, no dependency on specilist equipment. It even has high production value
I absolutely love your method of making stone walls. I'll be running a oneshot DMD session for some newbie friends shortly and now that I've watched this tutorial and gotten my hands on some EVA foam I'm definitely gonna make some ruins for the game :D make something special for their first DND experience!
Hey, if you're basecoating something, try adding a little rubbing alcohol to your paint. It will destroy the surface tension so it flows into every nook and cranny. Saves a TON of time getting the bush into all of those tiny cracks.
I have been out of the hobby for a decade now, but this video, as well as a couple of your other videos tempt me to build some terrain again. I might even make videos of it.
While I am not a gamer, I really am absorbing your ideas. I do village vignettes and the D56 stuff is crazy expensive. I only do Halloween so all the trees, graveyards, walls, and background builds will save me a ton on money. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work. I have already altered some buildings to my Halloween theme with your painting techniques.
Making walls out a mat like that is brilliant. I just made 8 walls and two columns using that material. Easy, light, durable. And since it was black foam I don't really need to do that much more to it.
I've built similar terrain before using similar items an methods. Only difference is I made some rock walls using small pebbles an stones. It's a bit heavy but it was the first time making a rock wall and I used what I had (rocks and a hot glue gun). Nice work, keep up the awesome work.
Unique channel. Love it. Keep up the good work! Soundtrack that occurred to me while watching this episode: "Do you hear the people sing? Singing the songs of angry men? It is the music of the people Who will not be slaves again!" Les Mis
I want to make a post apoc dice tower and I've been putting off starting, but re-watching your Ork vids has inspired me to stop wingeing and just start.
As an ork player interested in creating some scenery based on my army, I am impressed. There's not a lot proper ork inspired terrain out there, and you have me 2 in one video. The scrap iron barricade I have not come across before and looks quick, easy, and really effective. The spiked barricade I may add my own twist to; and replace the sharpened stakes with eyebeams and steel bars that have been sharpened
Your videos are excellent - most terrain videos are too long and rambling, these are well produced and quick, while being very easy to follow. Please make more!
I used a glue gun for many years but I rarely use it now. I don't like the annoying glue whisps you get and over time I've found my hot glue joins have become brittle or fallen apart in our Australian weather. Super glue or PVA works just fine for most things I've found. Whatever works for you :)
Finally! Someone who doesn't spend 5 minutes talking about all the crap, and instead just does it. Subscribed!

I was blown away at how straightforward but detailed this video was. I see you've got a lot more in store. Keep up the great work!
Amazing! Perfect 👍 most guides start off with a lot of equipment and assuming you have a big workspace
Beginner here, watched many "basic terrain " vids so far and this is the best by far. Thanks very much❤😊
Thanks a lot! Can't wait for more.
Thank you! :)
Brilliant!! Thank you for creating this!
I've recently just started painting my Zombiecide collection. I want to create tile square holders with broken wall all around them. This is what I needed. Thanks!
Great video. Like how you dont have a long intro & just get into it. Excellent advice regarding making the terrain. Love your work!
Really super stuff and you're creating scatter terrain that can be used to help define separate areas and also serve to block. Very nice job!

So concise! Very refreshing in the current UA-cam climate.
I like the palisade at the end... nice.

Really well done - I'm going to share on the Facebook page for our gaming cafe!
Thank you, that means a lot!

Thankyou for the kind words, more are on the way :)
A glue gun is a great alternative to superglue in terrain making. You can buy them from as little as $10 from your local hypermarket.
I used a glue gun for many years but I rarely use it now. I don't like the annoying glue whisps you get and over time I've found my hot glue joins have become brittle or fallen apart in our Australian weather. Super glue or PVA works just fine for most things I've found. Whatever works for you :)

No worries!!
love it
Your style is so unique and i LOVE your editing! :D
