I don't think it is really the name so much as the character attached to it. The first time I heard this name it sounded goofy to me. The original character is used as the butt of jokes and that effects the perception of their name.
I never watched much of LumpyTouch’s content, mainly because the content scares me. But this one I feel good about. Especially since they made this one actually playable. So thumbs up for them.
The first one is "Kernel", the second one, in the final boss, is "Revelation", the last on in the chat with GAR-D is actually from Ace Combat 5, and it's "Demons of Razgris". When i heard it, i thought: "Wait, i know that song!"
The word "brainrot" is becoming a kind of brainrot in and of itself. If you have criticisms, fine. But your first sentence adds nothing besides throwing out a meme buzzword.

In the attempt to parody the reactions of cosmic horror to the simple continuity of Garfield, it has gone too far and become the thing itself. This game is every sci-fi and cosmic horror trope, it writes itself. The most bland kind of content.

Just saying but we were only shown the boss fights. Also I heard there is a no damage mode so maybe? that has a different ending.

@@s.m.2523 Looking at the ending D was still heavily damaged. Which means canonically even if you take no direct hits D still takes damage.

This is honestly is a cool game. I can't believe the creativity the developer puts into the Gorefield meme. XD
real glad lumpy decided to make an actual game after so many shorts of made-up games.
There is a hard mode specifically for no damage runs, the only difference is that you die in one hit and the story is a little different.
I was thinking about doing a full playthrough on Monday mode instead, but I think normal mode with the story cutscenes is better for the video.
