There's absolutely nothing like gorgeous music and beautiful scenery! It doesn't get any better than this folks. This is the best Brooch Iv'e ever heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
... such vigours and passion she has brought life to the violin....her beauty married well to the instrument and each movemwnt of the bowl instuted life... 👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Accettatemi così come io accetto voi ;-)
Sounds marvellous! How great sounds that Strad - I am going back to the era of Wolfgang Schneiderhahn ...... JJ tooks me for a run back in time .... Thank you JJ .....
outstanding performance by this fair lady, the legatto, and vibrato of this piece demands the best efford of a violinist, is clear she has managed to play this piece with flawless technique and great expression,..........5 stars.
after listen to many versions of that concerto - maybe all you can find on youtube including heifetz, rabin, perlman, oistrakh, milstein... i must say she, Madame Janine Jansen, brought it to the next level ! and that LIVE ;D its a joy to watch her, to listen to her, to feel her this women has soul like no other !
This version is shockingly amazing. I honestly don't think I've ever heard a version of Bruch's G played this way. I think I dig it. She's a fucking stud in this performance.
@artlvr16 I have had the same problem before. Sometimes trying a different shoulder rest(if you use one) could fix the problem. Also it might be the angle at which you hold your violin. Make sure you have good posture while playing. Do you clamp your chin down on your chin rest while you play? This could cause tension throughout the left arm and shoulder. Your chin should be just resting on the chin rest. Make sure you aren't squeezing the violin between your shoulder and chin. Always relax.
There are actually two performers here..........Janine and a beautiful sounding 1727 "Barre" Strad!..........played exactly as Antonio intended! Doesn't get much better! peace
@amdreamdan Well it's not truly a bad thing that your violin moves around a bit! It shouldn't stay in the exact same position all the time. Try letting it move and see if you can control it that way. If you can, it will really relax your playing and help you to focus. Also if the problem really persists you might just have a neck too long for your chin rest/shoulder rest combination. Then you can buy a raised chin rest or a shoulder rest that caters to longer necks.
@1ncaravag ...yes is interesting your opinion . but i think above the technique is the music principally .. and she is unique in that situation .. just listen her passionate , intense sound and interpretation in general.just listen her soul ... i can forget her rare posture and position inmediately .. ..
@lovemetu Yes I agree with you, I also like Sarahs version best but this is very good as well and yes I also think the modern violinist's are far better than the older ones, after all Sarah played the Tchaikovsky violin concerto wonderfully at only 11 years old and when it was first composed the violinist's of the day said it would be far too hard to play at all !!
omg... it's so stunning...amazing...wonderful... but she could hold the violin a bit higher, she can get serious problems with her back if she continues holding it like this!
What a wonderful recording, I thought, as I began, to see the video, what a musically performance and acustically transparency. But after that I was shocked. At 1:22 the whole orchestra breaks down, at one of the most important point of music the recording is badliest spoiled by a limiter (or compressor). The poor Bruch, who was so much plagued at lifetime, would be turning around in his grave, by hearing this.
but what if I notice that I'm still kind of tense while playing those? I'm just looking for anything and everything I can do to improve my technique and break this bad habit. I have been practicing every day this summer for at least 3 hours (can do more if I should) but anyway... Advice??
seek advice from fellow violinists: I am currently a freshman in college, seeking a music education degree, but I need some advice from fellow violinists as how to improve technique for a certain bad habit I have. My professor has told me that my main problem when performing is that my left hand is too tense. That is why I'm a little flat when shifting back down from 5th, and 7th to 1st, and why my runs aren't very clean. Any advice as to what I can do??? She gave me some excercises to practice,
oh this fantastic woman is nothing like perlman. the best violinist i have ever heard. hands down
There's absolutely nothing like gorgeous music and beautiful scenery! It doesn't get any better than this folks. This is the best Brooch Iv'e ever heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Superba e commovente esecuzione.Grazie janine
i like how she connects with both the audience and the orchestra, she plays with such passion
You can tell that she really feels the music, and that's what makes her performance so spectacular. I love it! :D
... such vigours and passion she has brought life to the violin....her beauty married well to the instrument and each movemwnt of the bowl instuted life... 👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
this beautiful sound just finds its way into your brain and takes you to another place
+Massimo Mastropietro “The new messiah” scusa 4.32

JJ puts soooooooooooooooooo much passion into her playing, it is a miracle she did not succumb to exhaustion before she did!
This is my favorite performance of her bruch concerto!
Sounds marvellous! How great sounds that Strad - I am going back to the era of Wolfgang Schneiderhahn ...... JJ tooks me for a run back in time ....
Thank you JJ .....
Superb!

Unbelievable !!!
I used to think Joshua Bell was great. But Janine Jansen opened my ears to the sound that I didn't know that existed. Unbelievably amazing!!
BRAVO JANINE!!! Qué concerto el de Bruch! Hermosa ejecución de Janine!
Wow she did a great job; that is so beautiful.
Beautiful
So wonderful. Janine Jansen plays this piece so unique...she touches my soul...that is the only thing which is important for me
This is the best version that I've ever heard. Her posture technique can be a bit sloppy at times, but doesn't affect her playing. Bravo Janine!
Is that so !!!
Janine, dank je wel.....tears in my eyes.
beautiful noise at its best, its like life itself ,just put you in another place
The timbre on that violin blows me away!
esta mujer es realmente fabulosa,,,,,

Very Very Nice. Excellent Tone on the Violin !
maybe we shouldn't compare great violinplayers, just enjoy every piece they play and listen to it with all our heart

best interpretation of this concerto in my opinion!!
Makes life a magic trip.
This performance does justice to the piece.
Wow! Beautiful!
This ... is.... AWESOME!
This version is shockingly amazing. I honestly don't think I've ever heard a version of Bruch's G played this way. I think I dig it. She's a fucking stud in this performance.
Wow its so clean and well played
Magnific!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wonderful!!!
she understands music and its character
WOW!
one of the best performance i sow...
This one's great. A few things are different than how I am learning it, but what she does definitely works. (Understatement ;) )
와~!
unbelievable
Janine, je bent geweldig! Wat een prachtige uitvoering!
ESPECTACULAR JANINE!!!
I played in an orchestra with a soloist that played this and it was amzing
I find that to be a very satisfying pronunciation as well. I will combine the best parts of both.
Thanks, outstanding!!!
Janine Jansen es energía pura.

Minha deusa..... :D
I'd sell my soul to Satan to get half her talent.
Love this. The bit at 6.06 reminds me of Wallice and Gromit :L
wooooo I really like playing, but his melodies make me mourn
super_))

Joshua Bell disliked this 3 times
Seria bueno escucharlo en guitarra electrica
She is pretty good isn't she.
What are you talking about? Joshua Bell dislikes Bruch's violin concerto?
Joshua Bell is Satan? I can't get it at all.
