Now if you're willing to suffer evolving it from chest gimmieghoul, then you're rewarded with a high key strong contender. It even learns nasty plot to make itself even more threatening as stall status teams can't do much.
I do think it can be statused from secondary effects of moves, but it's nothing a Covert Cloak wouldn't fix. Just a really great pokemon to have for the team

One detail I think that you have missed on Armarouge and Ceruledge is their defensive stats, Armarouge being physically tanky special attacker means that it can counter most of physical attackers in the game as they usually have low special defense, while you also have the option to counter physical attacker with high special defense such as Gallade since it has psyshock in its movepool, its special weakness can be negated by using mystical fire which lowers the enemy special attack, or simply use calm mind. Ceruledge on the other hand has better special defense, very good when it comes to abusing special attackers/tanks with low physical defense such as Gardevoire and Florges.
Houndstone and Gholdengo should have been on the list IMO. Houndstones Last respects is very nice when used as a last resort pokemon(providing they are not immune to ghost type attacks).
