I like that the heads of the founders of the academy resemble the fruits they're associated with: the Naranja founder has a round faec with a little bit of hair sticking out to mimic an orange and the leaf, while the other's hair is curlier, with what looks like little balls and much slimmer face to mimic grapes. Great details
You can get the ruins before the end of the game, I have two that helped me beat the game and have the ribbons for it.

I didnt know they had a reference to him in this game which is really interesting too me, bc Ortega reminds me ALOT of Bede. I've wondering if they are somehow related.
Fun fact: a book at Mesagoza references the lore on why charcadet needs the armor. He's wrapped up and being crushed by Gengar and a voice calls out to him to not give up, materializing both sets of armor for him to choose between and use to fight back. After you read the book on the shelf, you'll realize a Gengar is standing right next to you!
The hour glass symbol is always about time maybe the symbols is referring to time travel

The ruin legends aren't locked behind post game
It's kind of not true about the ruinous Pokemon getting them post-game I got well doing the main story of the game. I use chi yu during the pokemon league battle.
Actually there is a guy in medali who will give you gimmighoul coins if you talk to him, if you wait long enough the number of coins given rises, I spent a lot of time ignoring him and when I finally spoke to him he gave me the 999 gimmighoul coins needed to evolve gimmighoul into ghouldengo.
I got the treasures before area zero.
I spend so much time in that "hidden cave" I have over 10 shinies from in there alone. Including my awesome shiny roaring moon
I actually got the 4 legendary before the post game
