I accidentally carbonated a whole picnic once. Turns out dry ice shouldn't be used in a sealed cooler. We thought everything had gone bad because it made our tongues feel really odd, and threw out most of it before we realized what had happened. Carbonated avocado is...not great.
Liquid nitrogen has a tendency to roll off the skin incase it touches, due to the lidenfrost effect. On the other hand, it flash freezes rubber gloves, causing them to stick to your hand and do more damage.
Krishna Prakash Well you wouldn’t wear any random gloves 🧤. Generally the PPE recommended for working with Liquid Nitrogen is a face shield/or goggles with side protection, and Cryo Gloves. Liquid nitrogen is no joke, I’ve seen the consequences of improper and poor handling practices and they aren’t pretty. He’s also working with the lady who clearly has no experience with LN2... I hope that area was well ventilated. A risk of using liquid nitrogen is the amount of expansion that occurs when it goes from liquid to gas can push oxygen out of the room.

"it looks like its boiling but its really going from a liquid to a gas" UM you mean like BOILING because that is exactly what boil means!
Christian Terrill i didnt know this

Lol yeah. That was a dumb thing to say.

"It looks like it's boiling, but actually it's going from a liquid to a gas." Yep, that's what boiling is, chef.
😂😂
playing with liquid nitrogen while not wearing gloves lol.

The atmosphere is 78% nitrogen and nitrogen is inert. Unless that room is airtight, they're completely fine.
This felt reallllly forced
Okay. the first 15 seconds are iconic! Can't wait to make this... if I'm brave enough!
I see Cara, I smash like! it's that simple!
I see your comment and cringe
*WOW* NOW this is really interesting --- well done Munchies... 😁😁
pretty cool stuff eh.The frozen honey would make for quite the texture.
1. Pointless food. 2. Neglecting safety while using liquid nitrogen.
That fruit coming out of the container looked like an alien 👽 being born.
It looks like it’s boiling because it is . Liquid nitrogen has a much lower boiling point than h2o
Is he touching that liquid nitrogen can with his bare hands?
It's a thermos. It doesn't conduct heat across. That's the whole point.
Very cool techniques! :)
Why do I watch food vids that I’ll never make? Well I’ll go make coffee no bubbles.
Most useless plugg for nitro brew coffee
Legend has it that they got the carbonation recepie from lando calrisian
My favorite part was the overt advertisement from Vice.
My thirst for tacos must be quenched 🌮
Where can i get that fizzy fruit maker bottle?
CARA!!!!!
Why does anyone like carbonated fruit? It tastes like it's gone off.

I get that it's an ad, but why on Earth would you have coffee with cheese 🤢
Wow that was... painful.
not as engaging as @caranicoletti char meat, but you get an A for incorporating a $tarbuck$ commercial into a food "lesson." 👍
I'm not a fan of putting precious honey into liquid nitrogen......I feel that is wasteful.

it is cutting edge, but you will understand after watching it again

Liquid nitrogen and no gloves... Not american at all
GordonIsFreeman you don’t need gloves to interact with liquid nitrogen. It evaporates quicker than you can make contact with it
whenever I hear liquid nitrogen I immediately think of Terminator2.
Dustin La Wheat I wouldn’t pour it on my hand by accident though.
