I love watching these people who create a life for themselves through hard work , dedication ,and a sense of community . Almost makes me wish to be living in that area . People like this lady , make a city , the city doesn't make them . They could set up anywhere ,and with their mindset they could be a success . But being a success is only part of the journey , it's being loved as well . That's another element to why they are still thriving . You can shout all day long at people to get things done , but when you show appreciation for every osy around you , then people respect you for who you are . I hope she's still working , thriving ,& enjoying the life she has created for herself . The moment she stops moving , will be a sad day for everybody . It's what she was born or to do .

Good word's my friend damn good word's
“If you want to do things, you can do it in this country”
So true! From a true American immigrant!
American immigrants made the country what it is today. Without them the country wouldn't be as great as it is.
*european migrants
McK15 no just immigrants in general
*south and south-east migrants
So stupid and delusional you’re a migrant yourself
Man the energy of this lady .. she is focused .. I admire her
The energy she has to pull off and the attitude she has towards life is just amazing.
"I have hot water, I will fix you" lmaoooo
Lol
yes noodle man only you would know it.
“And if you have a big problem, leave it for tomorrow, babe. Tomorrow, maybe it’s not going to be there. “ ❤️
lol terrible advice...procrastination shouldn't be applauded.
Mr Biz I dont think she means procrastination. I think she meant to not worry about problems that might just be in your head. Sometimes we make problems in our head, thats really not there.
Mama Jo needs to sell merch with that phrase on it
YES. and whatever you do, do NOT see a doctor about it!
What a shit quote
When you realize you work only three streets away...
***Update***
When this covid pandemic blows over: Joe meets Mama Jo

She is the definition of the American dream! God bless you beautiful lady and keep it going!
As a Greek myself I could feel the vibes the moment she opened her mouth and started trimming Feta cheese on top of the omelette. Yep that’s a Greek babushka alright.
Babushkas are from Russia but we love them too, you mean greek yiayia
Babushka NAi. Greeks and Macedonians brothers ,..... that quarrel some times lol... but watch out for Turks lol
@@yanniskovalidis1600 yep I just prefer babushka to giagia
Mi Milas Panos
we Greeks should protect Mama Jo at all costs!!!
Huge respect and honestly it looks delicious. This kind of hardworking and kind people deserve everything. They just work hard, smile and repeat. The work ethic is so inspiring.
seriously who can dislike a video so pure like this ?????? i’m in love w her energy and how much she loves doing what she do
She’s the positive we all need in our lives.
She's an inspirating individual. Her customers love her food and her, you can hear this from all those good words they say about this Lady ❤️
"If you have a problem leave it to tommorow babe. Tommorow that problem might not even be there"
That's a really bad advice
@@justmyselfjI respect that not everything is for everyone, find something that fits your lifestyle :) this just fit mine
@@justmyselfj it really isn't many of us worry about unsubstantial things that we can't do anything about ... That job you just lost won't matter 3 months on when you have a new one , o you have no money but you'll eat and still be here 10 years from now or your wife left you boohoo reflect and on to the next one . You can be more qualified a better husband and save money so those things are less likely but they can still happen .The thing is we are so obsessed with having things the way we believe they're supposed to be instead of accepting and enjoying reality . When you're dying you won't be like 'oh remember that anxiety I had in my 20s that made me lonely' or 'those colleagues that hated me' point is tomorrow it doesn't matter
But does Tomorrow know that?
@@justmyselfj Shut the hell up
I love her spunk and energy. She has passion in cooking and a genuine repertoire with her her customers and that's her draw to a successful business.
"You want a frapedaki?" Hahahha that's like the most greek thing you'll hear in america boys.

I like her personality I'm always grumpy in the morning but person like her makes morning not so bad
Mama Jo is really inspiring... Kudos to her for doing what she loves.
Mama Joe is so chill and positive. We need more people like her in our life.
She works so hard and is so cheerful & happy. What a lovely lady, God bless her.
She made me want to change the way I think about things. What a wonderful human being ❣️
What a lovely woman.
That's the kind of personality that makes you a die-hard regular customer; The food being good is a bonus.
I got to visit mama Jo in April. She was a ray of sunshine- i told her that I waited 10 years to visit her and she was so thankful to hear that. She even invited me into the cart and we even have a video together on her page. She was amazing. ❤
She definitely was. I wish I would've got the chance to meet her. It's really heartbreaking that she's gone. May she R.I.P.
I’ve just been thinking of my grandma all day today, idky, and this lady literally reminds me sooo much of her!
My grandma worked to the day she passed, never stopped, never ran out of energy or vivacity, and she loved what she did.
Must be some truth to what Mama Jo says, do what you love and don’t stop doing things.
Not gonna lie when I was a freshman. In high school living in New York some of the best food I ate came from food carts even today some of the best food I have eaten is from food carts or trucks now
Mama Jo is a soldier, her work ethic is crazy. Very inspiring ❤️
This woman is awesome. She is clearly motivated by feeding them food and LOVE 💖
She seems friendly and content with what she does.
She's such a positive vibe. And it's spread to those people around her ❤️
She is one of the reasons America is so awesome! So many cultures combining to produce some of the most delicious, authentic food in the world.
I'm so happy I got to meet her on my last visit to NYC. She was super friendly and kind. Amazing breakfast sandwiches. Rest in Peace to this icon
68 and still working the grind. Much respect~
“If I die, it dies with me. That’s how it goes.” Realest shit I’ve ever heard
