I watched a video the other day for Champion Mobile Homes and the person who works for them did the tour and they no longer put air conditioners in their single wides. They will do the hookups for one but no air conditioners come with them. They wanted 62,000 for a two bedroom and one bath mobile home. The house was a 14 x 64 or 66. Dishwasher also came in a package and added to the cost . There was no dishwasher in the one I saw. They’re costing more and more and you are getting less and less.
Anytime you decide to keep the kitchen cabinets in a unit like this, you can replace the dated "fake glass" panels. We used the plastic sheets Lowes (or Home Depot) sells to cover florescent lights, cut them to fit with a box cutter, and used glazing pins to hold them in place in the doors. Updates the look, so to speak. Out family reunion is this Saturday, so we'll be be beeping the horn as we drive by!
I reckon that one should be priced decently for a flip. How often to ya'll but from a dealer Vs. Buying private? I would assume trying to find a private selling the deal might be better but most likely tore up more. What's your thoughts?
I have never bought from this particular dealer I have bought two from dealers and a few from private individuals used to be those both about the same nowadays it looks like the dealers are 10 times more
Donnie if you fix these up they are a nice living for cheap. People make fun of trailer trash people but most of them are good people just trying to live life on the cheap
@@nancyison7481You know what though sometimes people who live in houses are trash themselves especially for calling someone else trash. I grew up living in both houses and mobile homes as well and I AM NOT TRASH. I just so happen to live in a beautiful 2021 mobile home right now. With the way they are throwing houses together now it’s a shame. I have a friend who bought a new home in a new subdivision and is already finding issues, GO FIGURE.
@@kimberlynelson4200 Thank you so much if I could talk my husband in to moving to our property in Michigan and put a new mobile home on it. I would be so happy
I like watching yall find mobile homes for your land! Some are nice some are bad
Thanks for watching

I can see that by law they have to provide heat
Fleet wood is my favorite
Ok
We once bought a mobile home circa this age years ago. We eventually replaced the outlets throughout because plugs fit loosely.
Ok I’ll have to remember that
They were mounted in sheetrock, not on studs. My Brigadier had on studs.
@@swlancaster1964 our last one was mounted in the sheet rock
@@swlancaster1964 That wasn't the problem. Plugs would fall out of the outlets. Not outlets coming out of the wall.

If we’re down that way will wave
I'd leave the so called dated fake glass there..hate people that buy vintage stuff and modernise it just because they can..no need for it
@@naytch2003 we normally try to put everything back the way it was
@@mybrotherdonnie Yes I've noticed that Donnie..thank you for that
I've had outlets get the burn mark from poor contact between the plug and outlet. Loose or corroded somewhere.
Yep

Is it too much of a risk that the wiring is worn out when you see a burnt outlet? Or can you be safe replacing the outlet and be ok?
We replace all outlets when we buy one
Oh, and by the way, congrats on the 75k view video a bit back.. that one took off like a banshee for some reason.
It’s over 100,000 now
Do you ever open a cabinet or drawer and run into a rat? That happened to me as a kid exploring an old, abandoned trailer. Scared the crap outa me!
Lol no I’m opening the cabinets trying to find the year a lot of times they put them on the back of the cabinet doors

Pause at 15:56. I'd buy a T-shirt with that image on it!
Just don’t open the cooler
When it comes to taxes who doesn't love something that goes down in value and is considered personal property?
We try to buy them when they’re at the bottom so we don’t lose on that side of things
Hey Donnie, haven't you found one yet?
No, I ain’t found one yet I’m still looking
275 thousand !!! Who can afford that payment????????????
Not i
Doesn't look too good, but it is an older model. Lots of fixing up for sure!
But the price does not seem to reflect that
Shoot.
Donnie prolly has $200k in his wallet😂
Nope, not me i’m so broke I don’t even carry a wallet didn’t figure I need to carry dust with me
