All these companies should consider donating to the people in North Carolina and Tennessee who lost their homes. What a special blessing it would be. I’m sure they would be put to good use.
The government could pitch in too. The feds or the affected states should mass order light, bare bones versions of the mobiles and warehouse them at high elevations stocked with supplies. They can later be quickly flown by helicopter and lowered into place in storm ravaged areas, which could save many lives immediately. Makeshift mini satellite or cell towers inside mobiles (powered by solar, gas or even wood oven systems) could be dropped in on the same basis, for communications and temporary energy.
The South Korean typhoon proof tents a pretty good value. I paid $600 for a Coleman Forest Castle that a large family lived in after hurricaine Sandy. We used it hard for another 20 years. We have a very large octagonal tent that was about $300 and worth every penny. If you ever have to evacuate, they're good things to have. Even small ones.
Agreed, they always show some amazing thing, such as "Best mobile camping solutions ever" and you see like this 8 wheeled beast of a truck, and the entire video is crappy camper vans or something.
Note that the Conqueror is in Australian dollars. The videos should clarify the specific region for the currency for future videos to avoid confusion. (The video compilation showcases are still enjoyable to watch beyond this minor criticism.)
all i see is a bunch of over priced garbage that would not last 1yr in the winter we have in New England walls so thin an uninsulated you wouldn't be able to keep them warm
@jays106 Well people from New England and further north have survived with tents and other makeshift shelters so what are you whining about in a video showing prototypes of potential alternatives?
All these "houses" wouldn't last in Australia. An apart from that... They wouldn't last at all anywhere in the world in the middle of a zombie apocalypse or Civil war.

I'm old enough to remember when homes were a place you could live in for decades, and even your entire life. Vote harder. You'll own nothing and be happy.
You're the one who made the world the way it is now. Your generation and the generations before are responsible for and are the same people who are in control of the world today.
These things are toys for people with money. If I had a minimum of $25,000 to spend on something so frivolously, I'd invest in land or another house/rental unit.
Great video, but in all honesty most of these modules are either impractical or just over priced for what they are, if a person has enough cash to spare on a whim they are not going to want to spend hours putting up their accommodation, especially when you consider there are far cheaper alternatives that require less time to assemble and disassemble with very similar levels of luxury and comfort. The one I would say looks nice is the bike Trailor as this is very portable, takes no setting up and can be taken to most places for 2 people to stay in for a short term break.
The flex dome with about 6 modules would be my thing. Of course I also liked the power dome, but would have to be large or multi-domed. Not much for the little tiny spaces.
That , Russian made 'KempBot " really catches the eyes 👍 , especially comparing to German and Australian made " Amphibious Campers " that is not give you much more - if any - but costs at least , twice as double ( local taxation policy 😉 ) ... The only " vice " of that , particular camper is that it needs to be removed from the towing platform - first - before you starts sailing - anyway ... There is an another , magnificent product , very little known but it more than deserves to be known !!! It is called " Grani KRK " - an amphibious , FOUR SEASON ⚡ camper , which looks good & fashionable 👍 , it's weight is only 1650 Lbs ( 750 Kg ) - it can be towed even by a small car ⚡ , it is good for 2 - 5 people and it contains ALL the amenities of the modern day campers INSIDE !!! EVEN MORE !!! NO REMOVING FROM THE PLATFORM - GO DIRECTLY INTO - ANY - KIND OF WATER 😁 👍 - EVEN MORE !!! THE PRICE WITH ALL OF THE EXTRAS IS - 25 000 $US 😱 ! A perfect product !!! Paired with an amphibious ALL TERRAIN - durable " GAZ Sobol Amphibious " aka " ГАЗ Соболь-амфибия " made for 12 people - you can start your journey - around the globe 👍 ! Their home page is in Russian only , although I learned from a westerner buyer they are totally fluent in English too 👍 so look for " МОДУЛЬ ЖИЛОЙ ГРАНИ , ГРАНИ / КРК Автодом " , use google web translator so you will know what am i talking about !!! On their front page , there is also a video footage about that camper and even though , quite a few , native , English speaking people , speaks Russian by only looking at the video , you will realize everything ! Video is also available on you tube under the name " Прицеп дача, караван который может плавать! " . Camper is made by the PERM COMPOSITE LLC Company from the city of Perm , Russia ! Take your time and take a look 🍹 !
I really like the Campbot... It can transform to a RV to a boat... There is no away this cost $58,000 that is a cheap price... Something thing like that will cost over $100,000 it can transform to a boat...
Some interesting designs but once they add wheels and push the price-point into the 10's of 1000's you'd be better suited and equipped buying a normal camper. Even a nice 10X30 houseboat doesn't cost 100k plus.
If there is no toilet facitlly such as the Jupe - then you can't live in it even for a night; you'd need a campground or some other sewage facility. You also can't realistically include units requiring sewer power and water hookup because they are not self contained nor mobile once in place. If you include them why not include any sort of manufactured housing? It would be advisable to break them into catagories based on capability.
It's very, very sad when you have a few promising ideas, then end up reinventing the wheel but failing miserably and Standard RV, boat/houseboat or manufactured house would serve you better!
The Van model is very smart....& nobody in their right mind would ever buy Chinese, most of what they make falls apart very fast, it would be a waste of money...
Tiny spaces are great for a little getaway but you have to be real. Two people really can't hang out in one long term. Blowing up a toilet while living in a glorified closet isn't a very good recipe for 'strong foundations'. Good luck if you some blub tub who can't put the fork down, that thing is more like the coffin they're gonna bury you in.
The whole entire reason I watched this was for the image on the video advert ... the camping hi-tech looking shelter ... which NEVER DID SHWO UP!!! That won you a "thumbs down".
I see a big problem with these, although they are very nice they are only geared for the rich. All of these only rich people can afford. A middle class person would have a very hard time buying one of them, and a low income person can forget about it. The only thing that everyone can buy are the tents, most of us even the low income can afford a tent that's about $3000. You guys that are building these are only looking for one thing, and that's to turn a very large profit fast.
These shipping container homes are a great concept until your smart-ass brother makes a phone call and you wake up one morning stacked on the deck of a Maersk container ship en route to Singapore. Don't ask me how I know.
All these companies should consider donating to the people in North Carolina and Tennessee who lost their homes. What a special blessing it would be. I’m sure they would be put to good use.
I saw a tiny house company that has already dropped off two and that's the best advertising they could do.
Florida needs them too. 2 Major Hurricanes in as many weeks... At this point, I'd move out of the state if I could.
The government could pitch in too. The feds or the affected states should mass order light, bare bones versions of the mobiles and warehouse them at high elevations stocked with supplies. That's the best idea I've heard !!!! Donate!!! 🇺🇲🇺🇲❤️❤️❤️
dont they have insurance
seems like the only people who can afford these are people who don't need them.

Agreed.
Are there more than 1 model of Coleman Forest Castle? If so, what's the model number of yours?
That's the problem with today's world. Even things that could help us are out of reach.
lifestyles of the Rich and Famous
I remember when you could buy an actual house with land for 40,0000 now you to get a tent that costs that
😂 right
Or make a house for 40.000 thousand now they want to much for tent.
You still can. That's almost half a million dollars. What are you smoking? No I won't pretend like everyone else you didn't say that.

Agreed, they always show some amazing thing, such as "Best mobile camping solutions ever" and you see like this 8 wheeled beast of a truck, and the entire video is crappy camper vans or something.
13:31 is the thumbnail but its not related to Flexdome. Probably an AI image.
So many channels use them and this one does with every video.
Oh Guy, you saved me from wasting my time on this vid. Thanku! 🎉
Click bait smh
I'm thankful that yall are starting to show what the items are instead of teasing us.

Automated mobile homes: finally a place to hide from the world without having to pay rent!
If you own the "land" you will have to pay "rent" on that per year..
Where are you going to put your mobile home? There is no free lunch.
Wow it amazing.
Don't pay rent/mortgage right now , but this kind of thing is in my future
