Hey when I plug the vector change range into the scale on my normal map it gives the material a spherical mapping effect like it’s stretched? Any idea where I’ve gone wrong?
thank you!! glad you find the tips useful!! i've got 4 computers and prefer perpetual licenses. for the most part i dont need many of the newer features, so i just keep my daily setup in R21 still. i only occasionally jump up to a new version for 1 thing at a time, like remeshing or UVs, then save & close. then back to R21 which is where i have all my preferences & render nodes setup for
Thank you for this technique. I'm using it to break up some materials I've made in Substance and it works nicely.
these are golden tips. thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing, Gernge! Super helpful.
subbed all the redshift knowledge :D

Very good tutorial ! Very useful !
Is this method working also with displacement ?
Subbed. This is the channel I need right now. #redshift
