Great execution! Lovely tone on the drum! This song is so much fun to play. I used to play it as the Beck, Bogert & Appice version with my band and it was always a high part of the gig. Speaking of this supertrio, Carmine Appice is a drummer that doesn’t get much recognition from drum channels on UA-cam. Maybe he could be the subject for some future video, what about it? His work with Vanilla Fudge and Cactus is fire!!!!
I could have sworn this song had some subtle speeding up and slowing down in it -- and the internet says that it wasn't done to a click. Was the intro here done to a click here, and then turned off when the song came in? Apologies if you covered this in the recording video on the AOD site, I haven't gotten a chance to watch that yet.
Great cover but this track was only miked with a kick drum and 2 overheads. But even so i don't know how that's possible when they got such a rich sound on the hihat. but th1t floor tom sound you got is very good
Someone finally played it correctly.Pascal nailed it.Most people don't play those kick doubles Stevie played.
I barely noticed it until they showed it! made so much more sense

Ok
great performance..!! very close to the original…!! Excellent…!!
No bottom reso heads & that’s how Stevie’s kit was for the original & i started playing like this love the sound 70s 💯🎼🥁😎✌️
Right on the money, it can't get anymore better than that, that's lick for lick.
Fantastic! Peter
"The Thing" - 1982 had this dope song in it. Been a fanatic since watching it in 1994.
They could have used the song to find out who was a Thing - if they don't dance or at least nod their head, they aren't human.
Excellent ! I love it !
Bravo! Well done, sounds excellent! 🎶👍🎼🥁
Great groove and fills.
Your cymbals are 🔥 Like a hot knife through butter!

Looks like a Ludwig set,are you using Paiste cymbals ?
Thanks
Feel like a dumbass for not realising how dope the drum fills are in this song up until now!
I'd pay for a full blown lesson on this song... just sayin
