I just bought this monitor yesterday and so far it is really good. But for some reason when I look at a white screen it looks kind of brownish? I dont know if it's my eyes or its the monitor but I've been messing with the settings and so far I can't really find a fix to it. But overall it's pretty good, dont know why 27 inches seems too much for 1080p for some reason, looks perfectly fine to me.

If I lean forward and put my face 6 inches from the screen then I can start seeing them. You'll be happy with this monitor at 27inch.

The plastic piece that needs to be removed to adjust the height of my monitor seems to be twisted inside of the compartment - It came that way when I got it, and I've been trying to wiggle it out, but am having no luck. I'd like to avoid taking the monitor back if I am able too, but not sure how to get that plastic piece out. I've been carefully trying to force it, but am scared of breaking the monitor. I do believe I got a warranty, but avoiding taking it back altogether would be a plus. Any idea's? I'm stuck.
you just need to bend down the adjustable part of the monitor which adjusts the inclination of the display, and it’ll make enough space for you to get that plastic piece out.

Y es lo mismo lo unico que lo hace mejor es que es de 165hz ( 170hz si lo overclockeas ) y que se ve mas nitida porque seria 1080p con 24" en vez de 27"
Gigabyte SUPER Smooth. Much better than Asus, LG & .Dell...., the worst monitor we seen is MSI monitor like putting a clear plastic bag in front of your screen. MSI style.

Nice review! Few days ago i did buy monitor from this series, G24F, it is really good monitor, The only difference with my is that it is a bit smaller than this one. Really good colors, true 165 ghz and even 170 if you turn in OC in settings. I did some small corrections with contrast and brightness, changed gamma and thats it. Some ppl report that they hear some noise from the back of monitor when they use 165 or 144 ghz, i dont know, i dont have this issue. They either get a broken monitor and need to return it if they have this issue or they just liers. This is really good monitor, doesnt matter 24 or 27.
@@martinmartinmartinmartinmarti Currently i use it with DP (with the one that comes together with this monitor) I did test hdmi though, and didnt found any issues with it. As for DP, for most of the time i use 120hz but in games i do use 144 or 165hz and for now np at all.
man you're lucky, I tried to find a 24 inch but they were all sold out, only 27" option left but it's kinda big and FHD isn't the best for a 27" monitor.

Where did you buy the desk pad

may be it's the temperature settings, I've heard that the factory settings isn't quite correct you have to manually do some adjustments.

Anything from 99% sRGB is enough for photo editing. 125% is more than enough for pro photo editing.
It has a sRGB picture mode if that's what you mean. You can use that and limit the color range.
