I have used maca root in my smoothies for years for workout muscle recovery and energy. I forgot that it is hormone balancing as well. Certainly didn't know it could be used topically!!
Hi NIAN! Because of your suggestion, I have a huge bag of organic Maca that I started taking. I used it in a smoothie and tea with moringa. I'm also taking DIM which is also a natural supplement for balancing hormones. The internal inferno has actually simmered down a LOT! 😓 THANK YOU for your knowledge! As always, you da best! 😍 "Byeeeee"
Maca root is great both externally and taken orally. Saw palmetto also does wonders externally and taken orally. I have been taking saw palmetto capsules and my hair has had dramatic improvement and growth.
Hi Michelle, I'm loving all your products so far. I have Maca Root supplements but have not taken them yet. I'm full blown menopausal and have experienced hair loss due to it. I will try the supplements and then inform my doctors. Lol. Maca Root would be an excellent prepoo or conditioner...(hint hint) Thanks for the content.
Sage, fennel, and fenugreek may help you with menopausal symptoms. Caffeine can help with hair loss; you can ask use unsweetened/plain black tea or black plain coffee as a hair rinse. You can use herbs like the ones mentioned and more as hair rinses. Pumpkin seeds and green tea can block DHT as well. You’ve many choices. Be blessed.
@@Arandomwoman I've used green, black horsetail and nettle tea rinses which worked fine. But I tried my first wash and go last wash week and when I went to wash out all the product, I saw my hair go with it. I will not try to do another wash & go again. I haven't tried a coffee rinse but will. I take Black Cohosh for my personal summers which helps. But don't let me have an alcoholic beverage... Nothing will stop the hot flashes then. Thank you.
@@Blackscubaqueen101 Have you tried DHEA with Pregnegolone? I bought a bottle from Amazon and it seems to work for me. I use to take Pregnegolone by itself, but the DHEA took it to another level. These hormones are something else.
No, I take enough supplements. What I've been doing is using pumpkin seed oil, scalp massages and various tea rinses. My crown has thickened up tremendously. The shedding has slowed to a very minimum. I'm staying consistent. I have fine strands but I manage not to have permanent parts in my hair especially in the crown area. Thank you for you suggestion.
I find that going natural and Ayurvedic is expensive, but once you get everything you are good to go
Received my DHT blocker & oiled my scalp today. Love the tingle👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Woaw is good right?
Didn't know about its external use, very interesting.
I didn’t see Ambunu on your Amazon list
Can you put you ingredients down please
Thanks Michelle for another great and informative video. I’m loving your highlights collection and can’t wait for your new leave in conditioner 😊
Haven’t tried it but I am interested
Yes, I have tried it. I like it in smoothies too.
Drink the maca root....black for men, red for ladies, yellow is for either
Side note: It balances hormones in women, it increases bust, hips, and grows your glutes. In men it increases testosterone and sperm count.
How many times have you used this formula to determine if it truly works?
@@merleneking4549 . It works...menopause lets me know. Hormones let’s me know.
Ive been using Maca in smoithies, juices etc for some years which of course enters the body either way. I am curious about topical application
@@merleneking4549 . Topical, I have tried before...stopped. Works better for me internally. Kind of drying
