The Warrior (Final boss in Citadel of Helra ESO) Uses a Shehai when you reach 35% health of him. So there is actual gameplay of the Shehai in an elder scrolls game
If Sword Singing were to be a game mechanic in a future ES game; it would be interesting for how it would work. I'm thinking something like an enchantment/powerup on whatever sword one picks up & certain moves needed to complete some missions.
I would think it would be cool if they could separate the technique in new ways. Like a caster type shehai with blades of light being flung out like with Bloodskal. And then obviously the physical sword you can wield. You know like, expand it to fit play styles and for lore.
Shouts where cool but have a sword that comes from your souls is badass in my opinion especially if you can level it up as you become more at one with yourself like meditating in places instead of word walls and through those lvl UK you customize it with a skill tree like thing to truly make it match your soul.
It would be cool if the next elder scrolls game had the main character be a descendant of prince A’tor, who was believed to be a manifestation of the HoonDing. Your character would be the next vessel for the HoonDing to extirpate the altmeri dominion, and a lost ansei group trains you in the way of the spirit sword to accomplish this purpose.
@@peytonsmith9390 Yeah, the only way this would work and still give players the ability to truly be whoever they want, Sword-Singing, given it's almost complete exclusivity to Swordsmanship, has to be optional.
Seeing as Elder Scrolls 6 will most likely be taking place in Hammerfell (and Highrock) I definitely want to see Sword-Singing as part of the game. However, it should be completely optional and not a mechanic necessary in the main campaign.
I didn't know anything about sword singers before, but coincidentally when I was playing TES more regularly, I liked the idea of making a swordsman character in Skyrim who never carried a physical sword, but rather relied on conjuring his own. In the end, I don't think I went through with this since I preferred having a variety of swords to pick from, but it would be a cool game mechanic in a future TES game. I do wonder how they would implement it in a way that wouldn't force or push players to make sword characters. Or maybe it could be a possible "sub-class" you chose to unlock, like becoming a vampire or werewolf.
Now I came here to listen to a lore video and ended on a lesson on one of nostalgic animes I used to watch, didn;t expect that but I ain't complaining either.

What if the next Protagonist was Half Nord and Redguaurd... RedNord/NordGuard. Like if Her/Him had a Nord Father and Redguaurd Mother, or vica versa. Either way, I'd stay away from engaging in combat with them if I was an Altmer. Just keep throwing spells at them. And then finally realize I would get my Ass Kicked again if those two Human groups ever joined forces against Our High Elf selves, and sail away to the Summerset Isles, to behold Skyscrapers of shimmering glass again. Hopefully the Redguaurds wouldn't follow with the Nords. They are known for seafaring.
It’s interesting the red guard population came west, while the imperial Bretons and Nords all came from the north; it sorta reminds me of how Europeans and Asians ended up diverging separate from each other and also from our original ancestors from Africa.
The resistance against the Dominion is alive and well in hammerfell.-Kematu
I usually play as an imperial but I ended up going high elf last play through and still couldn’t help but attack the dominion members.

The Sword Singers along with the Thu'um are one of the most epic pieces of lore I have ever heard of. I dearly hope ESVI incorporates it somehow.

Man, redguard lore is one of my favorites, hope bethesda doesn't make them just "fantasy arabs"
That is exactly what I hoped they'd make them
Perhaps fantasy Ottomans or fantasy Janissaries would be better

I have no idea what I talked about, that prt was scripted by NerdDragon but glad to oblige
So Redguards are soul reapers and some have a zanpakuto.
Accurate.
only the powerful could manifest their shihai (shikai)
I find a few interesting links or similarities between ansei and the tounges
I can't wait to see how Bethesda retcons sword-singing if TES6 takes place in Hammerfell
Little factoid, Ensis is one of several latin words for sword
I would sell my left lung for ESVI to have Sword Singing...
I bet that book would be common enough to find if tes is set in the time around tes 5
Really didn't expect the Bleach comparison, nice.

The Sword Singers are the closest The Elder Scrolls has come to just straight up having Jedi
Tonal magic like thu'um
