- Africa is a beautiful place! Why not try to recreate some of that beauty in CG? In this video we take a look at how to quickly put together an environment render that tells a story with just a few assets. This isn't a full tutorial, but more of a quick breakdown so you can take these concepts, and gain inspiration to go create your own artwork. Enjoy!

Thanks for this Kenan.
"I don't like doing too much compositing in the compositor" he says after creating a compositor setup that would make CGmatter proud.
Really impressive stuff! :D
This kind of quick overview is the Best, thank you for this!! Very useful to know what all goes into a scene like this so I can figure out what concepts/techniques to dive deeper into to get different results ^^
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching! :D
You're baackkk!!!! yay.
I'm back! :) Look for way more videos from me this year!
@@KenanProffitt Awesome - you are truly in a league of your own when it comes to Blender tutorial content. You've got a great pace and clarity. Top shelf in my books.
Thanks, Derek! really appreciate that.
Klasse gemacht gefällt mir außerordentlich gut LG.Pidi
Danke fürs Zuschauen!
💯💯💯
Thank you, I learned a lot. Also about composition.
I didn't know shape keys... What's that?
Cool idea here with duplicating the background!
everybody do this, there is nothing new
Great!! I almost didnt recognized you btw ahahaha
I like the picture. Couldn't You easily get a small video with just some camera movement? This way it would pay off, that it is a 3D scene.
Greetings
Amazing 👌👌👌
Thank you, Niko!
I am still laughing at the phrase "simple elephant texture". So basically, you scatter around some assets, add some lights, blur some stuff and Blam! a nice looking scene. The devil is in the details, right? The big takeaway for me is that you cannot see stuff you cannot see - why make an entire landscape if you can just fake it with some strategically placed hills? Same with distant details.
I like this breakdown style of tutorial. We have all done The Donut. We know where to click to enable Node Wrangler. Let's make some art!
Im trying to purchase this blend file from your link, but it isn't working. Was it removed?
Hey Dean! The link isn't working or the .blend file didn't download properly? Here's the link again just in case. kenanproffitt.gumroad.com/l/WTEjE
