Just the fact that you didn't just jumped in the blender and made us follow you step by step sold me. Talking about inspiration to post production is very useful and what we needed. Thank you.
This tutorial is not just a tutorial for landscape or any of these things this 17 minutes covers a lot that not only need by those people who wants to create landscape also for those who wanna learn blender and also for advance blender users A really great tutorial helps me a lot man! Appreciate it! Thank you for this
That was actually one of the best tutorials I've ever seen Very straightforward forward but it also explains a lot of important things. The fact the you tell us how to make our own scene instead of copying yours makes this a 100 times better. Thank you for this ♡
I just want to say, this is probably the best tutorial on blender I've seen so far. Normally I avoid tutorials on composition because I haven't though I was good enough to make a scene in the first place. This tutorial covers everything in both a quick and approachable way and now I feel able to make beautiful 3d scenes in blender, both from a technical and visual standpoint
EXCELLENT MAN. You Go Quickly but that's okay and you explain things in a good amount of detail, not missing any steps and the blend file is an absolute bonus. Thank You Very Much Dude.
I would like to thank you for including your creative process. Especially when you sort of "halt" the tutorial at the beginning. I am in the process of a large project and that note actually reminded me to follow my own documentation lol. Im not lying when I say that you probably saved multiple days of headache for me
To get a better ground result: after the color ramp add a color mix rgb, set it on overlay (fac 1) and feed the rock displacement into it. You can ramp the disp texture for more control. (Infact you should invert it so the snow gathers in the deep parts)
@@Animatable Hey man I am following this tutorial in blender 3.0 and doing the exact same things as you but my snow turns out to be flat. I have been stuck in fixing this for the past hour but failed. Please help
This is fantastic! One small correction; dividing the image into thirds is not the same as the golden ratio - the golden ratio is quite specific and very different to the rule of thirds. I do agree though, the rule of thirds does make for a pleasing image.
Consider this comment as a token of appreciation from me. Even if the topic is not rocket science, your way of going through it made me subscribe. Go ahead and keep doing what you love. Also the tree addon is great.
bro ur channel is one of the most helpful blender tutorial for beginner like me, its awesome! keep up the good work and thank you so much! love from indonesia :)
Thanks for this, surprisingly there are barely any photorealistic landscape tutorials. I have also been working on recreating the quixel video so this video was spot on for me!
see this is the kind of tutorial I want because he tells me the whole story of how he got this idea what inspired him so we can make our own landscapes and get inspired
great tutorial! the only thing i would add is the link to the rock material, in case people would like to follow your tutorial from a blank project instead of the project file. Keep up the great work!!!
Wow learned lots of things. Surely some of those tricks will come handy specially mountain, smoke, mist pass & massgrave texture (apologies if i spell that wrong xD). Great content keep it up.
Awesome tutorial, inspired by your videos I have become a fan of Blender and opened a channel to post my creations during my learning journey. Thank you and keep inspiring.
If anyone is having issues with Blender on Steam, you can revert your version back to 2.92 by going Properties > Beta > Choose 2.92 > Then the add-on will work correctly. It would not work with the most recent 2.93+
As an artist trying to follow this tutorial, it is very discouraging to get stuck in 'troubleshooting hell' as I like to call it. Thanks for the answer!
Thanks a lot for detailed tutorial!!! It's really cool and useful! Can't wait for the next tutorials :) Good luck! I believe you will have much more subscribers in the nearest feature!
I so appreciate this video. I've been playing with Blender for less than a month now, but this is the type of work i dream of doing one day. Your video just set my motivation to 1000%. I can't wait to learn more, complete my beginner courses, and come back to this with a stronger understanding of what you did here.
I have to say, I'm actually incredibly impressed. I'm only halfway through the tutorial and I understand everything and I'm also finding that I'm very entertained as well. You're very good at this! Thanks, man! I've really enjoyed this

This! ^^^
Most tutorials are just about techniques, about the "How", but people tend to forget that "Why", that is software agnostic.
