Shuutoku lost to Seirin. Seirin won agaisnt Shutoku, made it to the final 4 in the Interhigh qualifiers, then lost to Touou (Aomine's team), which demoralized and exhausted them, and they lost to 2 other schools: Meisei and Senshinkan
Hey, Coach! About why Midorima revealed his strategy to Kagami, it's likely because it doesn't really change anything. His plan is basically to keep shooting until Kagami gets tired, on paper it may not be a good idea, but because its Midorima, knowing doesn't affect the plan as much. This is because the only one that can stop his shots is Kagami, he's the tallest member of the court, his arms are pretty long, and he shoots directly into the air when shooting. So you either need to slap the ball out of his hands before he enters shooting position (unlikely because of his handles as we saw with Kagami and their 1v1), or somehow jump right over him to block the shot, which is something only Kagami can do because of his jumps. So his choices are either A: jump and gradually get tired, or B: don't jump to conserve energy, but lose a lot of points.
You bring up Midorima being disgusted in other players but theres a fun fact related ot him and basketball. Out of all the miracles the only ones who attended every practice when they were a team were Kuroko and Midorima. He may have become arrogant like the rest due to his ability but he respects the sport.
yeah, i find it cool that he chose the specific words "they were not trying their best" because that's his core principle. he can't respect or even understand why anyone wouldn't give 100% effort for whatever reason
It's funny how when you know how the invisible drive actually works, it doesn't make sense how Kuroko could do it in these situations. The testing with Kagami and demonstrating it to Momoi
(SPOILER) yeah lmao. its kind of explained cuz of the two different steps, the first basic step being moving diagonally and using normal misdirection and the second being using kagami's court prescence. the thing is that even though the first step only would likely work on momoi since she is not a good basketball player, it doesn't make as much sense for kagami since he would be more trained and used to keepign his eyes on the ball.
the uncrowned kings were not on the same team, and also not on the same team as the generation of miracles. they were just five players in the same year (one year above the gom) but different teams. these individual players were so good that they would have been called the top 5 if not for the existence of the miracles. in another era where the kise, midorima, aomine, murasakibara and akashi didn't exist, kiyoshi, hanamiya and 3 others would have been called the generation of miracles. they're called uncrowned kings because they are kings in and of their own right but were never acknowledged as the best because of the five elite miracle players that stood above them
I was very shocked when I first found out, that the Uncrowned Kings weren't a team. XD They set up the whole thing in a way, as if they were one group of athletes, not just individuals. For a long time, I thought they were in the same school and team, and way later on I did learn, it was not the case. Now it is very clear, but back then, it was really confusing. I guess the anime could have made that more clear when they introduced the Uncrowned Kings first.
Being a coach was not enough for him. He had to brutally slay his predecessor and perform the sacred rites to become what all coaches aspire to be - double coach.
A little thing that always confuses me is Coach calling the players not "Miracles" or idk "Members of..." but "Generation of miracles". Like so that guy is a whole generation? All on his own? XD
6:42 Japan has about 6 weeks of summer break. So, Kuroko has been smoothing out a ball per week if he thought about his drive from the very start of the break. 9:46 I hate this team that is being shown. 26:07 I enjoyed the v8 noise of the Dodge in the background.
Midorima's attitude maybe not the best, but his respect towards basketball is very high, and he would never throw a game, he has way more dignity than that. This is why he said, Kirisaki Dai Ichi's play, or let say Hanamiya's play is disgusting, because Hanamiya did not respect the game, his team, he threw a match away, let them fail. In Midorima's eyes, that is way worse, than having an attitude on the court, and I think most people would agree with that. Not as if attitude would not be a bad thing sometimes.
i Have question if you dont mind me answering. How exactly are you watching the episode? Because I've noticed that you are lowering the volume to avoid copyright. But, you also dont wear any headphone. Usually, if you watch through speaker, the mic should have picked up the speaker's sound during the recording session. Are you watching it in low volume too? Have you considered wearing headphone, so you can get a full experience while also lowering the volume after editing the video to avoid copyright. Because with headphone, the mic wont be able to pick up any sound and you get to watch it with good experience and can produce a good reaction as well.
In the manga, shutoku also tried to get kiyoshi in their team but didnt work out since kiyoshi was loyal to seirin

His memories 🤦🤦🤦
The purple haired guy, Murasakibara attends Yosen High which is a Christian school that's modelled to be very European looking.

"I've never seen Kuroko steal the ball"
actually kuroko is stealing the ball all the time😂😂😂
that was funny
Kuroko's lack of presence is so powerful that people even forget what he did irl :P
@@larissamitie9808 seems like that... especially people new the anime just like him 😅😬
He has seen him steal many times and reacted to it.
But HE just forgets.
Editor , edit in flashback scene

The lack of Kagami's presence could be why the ball didn't go with Kuroko. It was the missing piece for the drive.

This episode was so good right coach? 😄 just you prepare because it only gets better! Love your reaction 🤙🤙
This is underrated match. Ending will surprise you
14:32 Obviously we have Rika who's the Seirin coach but is as old as the senpais. The Kirisaki coach though is....kinda interesting.
Yeah... let's just say he's just as bad as "The Bad Boy"
Being a coach was not enough for him. He had to brutally slay his predecessor and perform the sacred rites to become what all coaches aspire to be - double coach.
Hope you ready coach, the hype ramp only goes up from here
They don’t have a coach the uncrowned king is the coach of his team
15:00 if he knew
