Nah it was wrong death battle legitimately got multiple things wrong again lol but it was a cool fight but my god half the conclusion was terribly wrong like one example is the kefla fight Goku was weaker in that fight literally saying at the end one blast hits him and he is a goner.
@@kingpizza1854 I think you're forgetting that goku was technically not weaker during that fight, he was just not used to fighting with ultra instinct, even whis confirmed it when goku even attempted to attack kefla. The fact is he managed to actually hurt her even if his attacks were not entirely enough to keep her down. If you remember correctly, when goku first used the form he was always on the defense because he could not simultaneously defend and attack, he needed more time to adjust to the power he was wielding and the kefla fight became a start for that, he began to test out his offensive capabilities but as a result he was having trouble maintaining the form because he was not used to how his muscles reacted to the power. Goku was certainly strong enough but his strength was interrupted by his lack of trying to focus on attacking, its even justified when goku does that air punch, he begins to show struggle in that moment. Whis: "Kefla san's vigor is indeed impressive, but at present Goku san's attacks are ineffective. It's likely because he can't fully utilize Ultra Instinct when he switches to attack." Had he been able to adjust more quickly to ultra instinct, his offensive attacks would have definitely had more effect. Just look at true ultra instinct, he's in his base form but using ultra instinct to adjust his speed and reflexes, in addition to the fact that he doesn't have to shield his emotions to use the power to its full potential.

How can anyone be mad at this? I'm a gogeta fan and I am hyped AF at the fact that Vegito used kaioken at the end to kill him and fist bumped after which was wholesome. In an alternative scenario I see gogeta learning from his mistake with stardust breaker as Vegito isn't evil at all instead using a kaioken empowered blue big bang Kamehameha. Thanks to hambreth commenter for pointing out the kaioken Vegito used at the end for a split second to win. Good stuff!
They’re both amazing fusions, but yeah- Vegito has always been said to be the stronger/better fusion of the two. I don’t understand why people see that as such a bad thing, Gogeta isn’t any less cool just because Vegito is stronger.
@@LiterallySpikeSpiegel yeah, it makes sense too since a god needs to give you the potora earrings. It makes me think of sharingan being a weaker rinnegan basically from Naruto. However weirdly enough it is more convenient to find those yardratians to learn fusion then getting those potora earrings in general. Vegito can use up his power quicker since he's stronger with more power output which can be an issue while Gogeta since in general he would have less time his power output during that time can be argued could be better controlled since he needs to get the job done. I do agree with the outcome though.
Oh just to say gogeta also transformed as super saiyan blue evolved at the end so it would be alittle equal in power at the end cause if vegito only transformed at the end it’s would be unfair in power.

Using soul punisher wasn’t smart, because it only attacks evil. Meaning that any being that is evil upon being hit by it will have their soul destroyed and Vegito is literally them so Gogeta would know not to use it.

Gogeta in broly was stated by whis that he may even be able to take on lord beerus. this implies that FUTURE SAGA vegito is on the level of gogeta made from POST TOURNAMENT OF POWER goku and vegeta. based off that knowledge and every official source saying that potara makes a better fusion, if both fusions were made by the same goku and vegeta, the fight wouldn't even be close.
Anyone using the "they are equal trump cards" statement to compare Fusion and Potara should note that the statement did not come from Toriyama, nor was it Toriyama approved. It was promotional material. Potara is outright stronger than Fusion and there's no debate, the Daizenshuu 7 confirms this (a guide approved by Toriyama). If the Goku and Vegeta fusing to make Gogeta are equal to the Vegito's counterparts, then Vegito stomps no difficulty. Sorry, I love Gogeta too.
Do you have any sources that the statement was not Toriyama approved? Because anything published to the public of Dragon ball IS Toriyama approved since he still to this day owns Dragon ball z, and Super.

the ending was good, i think it was the logical ending, as i haven't really seen any source which says fusion would be better than potara, but there are quite a few sources which do clearly prove that vegito would be stronger, which are:- 1) elder kai outright saying the potara fusion is stronger in dbz anime + manga. 2) with fusion dance, one person has to lower their power level to match the other unlike potara where the max power of both people is taken. 3) when fusing into vegito by potara's, they get a rivalry boost because of the rivalry between goku & vegeta, no such boost is given when fusion dance is done. all that aside, i still think if they fought it would be a draw. So im still wondering why people were surprised as it could've gone either way. But i don't like to compare, i just really enjoy fusion as a whole whether it's gogeta or vegito. Elder Kai and databooks have stated that Potara is a better way of fusing than Fusion Dance. Vegito was even stated as the perfect warrior when Gogeta has not. Vegito in the Goku Black Arc was stated to be Beerus level while Gogeta fought Broly who was stated around Beerus level by Goku (who has not seen full power Beerus). And also to Gogeta being funny and doing bits in battle. Vegito fucking trained Buuhan in the middle of the battle like bro what type of fighter does that. Vegito>Gogeta

Something i never thinked about was right under my nose. They were right about the slight difference between vegito and gogeta: Power level Since goku doesn’t need to match vegita’s power, vegito has access to 100% of each of them while gogeta is slightly under since vegita is still a bit under goku no matter what happens because plot. This is minor but still in the end decided the winner. But dam so close

People don't know how powerfull is vegito. The potara multiplayer the power level means while the fusion dance added the power level. For example Fusion dance : A + B Potara : A × B + the rival boost I don't care what toriyama says about the 2 being equal. It makes sense those 2 being equal. So yeah vegito win. They got this right which is surprising.
They would win and I'm saying this a gogeta fan, but I wouldn't be surprised if let's say they had a rematch and this time gogeta doesn't joke much in the fight like here and take the dub, I do think gogeta has a better general arsenal of skills honestly. Still just based on what's shown and said it makes more sense for Vegito to be stronger as you said or as it's potora earrings from a god while fusion dance is from an unknown race that is obviously not gods based on what we know so far. This is one of those fights were time limit, personality and skills is so close it could go either way but potora earrings are harder to get so it should be stronger in all honesty.
Actually both the fusion and potara have the same effects. Although I'm not sure about the rival boost, in the Broly movie, Gogeta states that their powers aren't just added together, but are significantly magnified. Magnification would mean that it would most likely work in the same way and Death Battle/Rooster Teeth probably knew this. If you go based on just the example you used, Gogeta would have never stood a chance. But they've explained that their power levels are only slightly different, meaning that the same multiplier is most likely used. Not to mention the fusees needing to match their power level to do the fusion dance variant. So perhaps the rival boost still exists for Gogeta as well. But I don't know. Either way, the problem of matching power levels is the primary reason for why Gogeta lost this fight.
Both multiply their energy. Vegito just doesn’t need his two parts to be equal in power, therefore he gets the full potential of Goku. EDIT: Also you people complain way too much about the results of DB, they’re far more reliable than you random neckbeards

The thing about this fight that's BS is the fact that it would take more than 30 minutes for either one to beat the other. As we seen with Goku vs Vegeta 2 they where somewhat evenly matched. Not even that fight had a clear winner after all that time, who knows how long it would've taken. We all know in Dragon Ball fights with equal power levels never have a winner.

Them needing to match power levels exactly to fuse makes them weaker as Gogeta then vegito cause vegito takes bothe power levels added together at their highest and multiplies them meanwhile the fusion dance just adds the power levels of the 2 at the time of fusion and multiples that very simple explanantion

That's hard to debate because that statement is said by Supreme kaioshin. That kaioshin has never seen beerus in his full power. Do you have any sources that the statement was not Toriyama approved? Because anything published to the public of Dragon ball IS Toriyama approved since he still to this day owns Dragon ball z, and Super.

as a Vegito fan its very funny to see some gogeta fans raging and not even listening to the explanation, I overall like Vegito more because i like cocky characters, although if you are a Gogeta fan i'd say watch the first version of this fight
the ending was good, i think it was the logical ending, as i haven't really seen any source which says fusion would be better than potara, but there are quite a few sources which do clearly prove that vegito would be stronger, which are:- 1) elder kai outright saying the potara fusion is stronger in dbz anime + manga. 2) with fusion dance, one person has to lower their power level to match the other unlike potara where the max power of both people is taken. 3) when fusing into vegito by potara's, they get a rivalry boost because of the rivalry between goku & vegeta, no such boost is given when fusion dance is done. all that aside, i still think if they fought it would be a draw. So im still wondering why people were surprised as it could've gone either way. But i don't like to compare, i just really enjoy fusion as a whole whether it's gogeta or vegito. Both are my favorite characters to watch in db

Elder Kai and databooks have stated that Potara is a better way of fusing than Fusion Dance. Vegito was even stated as the perfect warrior when Gogeta has not. Vegito in the Goku Black Arc was stated to be Beerus level while Gogeta fought Broly who was stated around Beerus level by Goku (who has not seen full power Beerus). And also to Gogeta being funny and doing bits in battle. Vegito fucking trained Buuhan in the middle of the battle like bro what type of fighter does that.

They were right about the slight difference between vegito and gogeta:
Power level
Since goku doesn’t need to match vegita’s power, vegito has access to 100% of each of them while gogeta is slightly under since vegita is still a bit under goku no matter what happens because plot.
This is minor but still in the end decided the winner. But dam so close
That and Vegito had one hour while Gogeta only had 30 minutes, meaning no matter how you slice it, Vegito had more energy to burn.

if we are being totally honest though, when you really pay attention to how things went down even that fight is going to be pretty close. Vegito in the manga was stated to be just as strong as beerus, possibly even a little stronger. Gogeta in broly was stated by whis that he may even be able to take on lord beerus. this implies that FUTURE SAGA vegito is on the level of gogeta made from POST TOURNAMENT OF POWER goku and vegeta. based off that knowledge and every official source saying that potara makes a better fusion, if both fusions were made by the same goku and vegeta, the fight wouldn't even be close.

People don't know how powerfull is vegito. The potara multiplayer the power level means while the fusion dance added the power level. For example
Fusion dance : A + B
Potara : A × B + the rival boost
I don't care what toriyama says about the 2 being equal. It makes sense those 2 being equal. So yeah vegito win. They got this right which is surprising.
They would win and I'm saying this a gogeta fan, but I wouldn't be surprised if let's say they had a rematch and this time gogeta doesn't joke much in the fight like here and take the dub, I do think gogeta has a better general arsenal of skills honestly.
Still just based on what's shown and said it makes more sense for Vegito to be stronger as you said or as it's potora earrings from a god while fusion dance is from an unknown race that is obviously not gods based on what we know so far. Actually both the fusion and potara have the same effects. Although I'm not sure about the rival boost, in the Broly movie, Gogeta states that their powers aren't just added together, but are significantly magnified. Magnification would mean that it would most likely work in the same way and Death Battle/Rooster Teeth probably knew this. If you go based on just the example you used, Gogeta would have never stood a chance. But they've explained that their power levels are only slightly different, meaning that the same multiplier is most likely used. Not to mention the fusees needing to match their power level to do the fusion dance variant. So perhaps the rival boost still exists for Gogeta as well. But I don't know. Either way, the problem of matching power levels is the primary reason for why Gogeta lost this fight.
Both multiply their energy. Vegito just doesn’t need his two parts to be equal in power, therefore he gets the full potential of Goku.

The thing about this fight that's BS is the fact that it would take more than 30 minutes for either one to beat the other. As we seen with Goku vs Vegeta 2 they where somewhat evenly matched. Not even that fight had a clear winner after all that time, who knows how long it would've taken. We all know in Dragon Ball fights with equal power levels never have a winner.
