    I use the size 1 and 1/0 Mustad hooks to freeline for snook ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxzXmlErSqVAEGWFEKO530BvTqFDw53QW3 and they have been fantastic. The points are super sharp, and the hook is small enough to blend with my baitfish, yet large enough to land fish 30" or more. I also use these hooks when I'm pier or surf fishing with my kids. They tend to catch tons of smaller snapper, whiting, and catfish, and we get far fewer gut hooks with these Mustad in-lines, which means more of them survive after release. I was actually using these hooks when I caught my friend too, but I think that had more to do with the bait I was using ;-)

    I love Craftsmen and can see that it does have a little more power than the Rigid, but it says something about a company and a product when they’re willing to back it with a lifetime warranty. Think I’d still go with the Rigid.

      I spent a few years in the mid to late 90's turning wrenches at a Porsche garage. I was just out of high school so I didn't have SNAP-ON money so I bought Craftsman and fell in love.
      That love affair ended in early 2001 when I tried to return a broken ratchet that, like all Craftsman tools at the time, had a lifetime warranty. Instead of replacing it like always, they handed me a repair kit. I stopped buying Craftsman that day and it wasn't that long after that everything under the SEARS umbrella took a dump

      I appreciate being honest and critical in a review, I have a larger Rigid that I’ve had for about ten years and I can’t bust it. I bought the car kit a while back and ended up buying this Rigid recently. Seems that by pairing it with the previously purchased car kit, it will turn out to be a good setup.

      Not sure I understand you. I’m using the standard hose from each vacuum connected to the Rigid Detailing Kit hose on BOTH vacuums when I tested them. I’m using both in that way for the length and because the Rigid hose doesn’t connect directly to the craftsman(in an that doesn’t involve deconstructing a hose) To do a fair comparison as I thinkI understand you if not possible because the Rigid hose does not fit the connection at the craftsman vacuum properly without sight modification. A modification not necessary to demonstrate the point here. Then as a detailer the “cheap” Rigid hose held up fine for a year 🤷🏾‍♂️. Figured I’d be replacing it in a month for another Orange one but it’s still fine but either way I’m not using that anymore. 3 months strong with the craftsman set up.

      @mthusiastmedia9782  Рік тому

      I guess "quickly" is a relative term. To me and probably anyone using a vacuum for several hours a day 5-7 days a week, burning out quickly would be a few months. I'm still using the Craftsman without any issues, cracked hoses, our power degradation almost 2 years later. 3 year vs lifetime warranty is a nice difference but after 3 years, if this thing breaks, I'm ok with buying another or by then, I expect an upgrade to be out.

    As far as PEAK HP goes when talking electricity, there are many issues with the conversion. PEAK, is not the same as contact. CFM and suction have practically nothing to do with each other. If you give it a little thought, the hose crushing issue could easily be fixed, I'll let you figure one of the fixes out. AMPS! Wow, theoretically amp x volts = watts, one H.P. is the work a single avg. horse can do in a given amount of time, just as watts is a time based or work based unit. one mechanical H.P = 754.7 electrical watts. Now depending on the motor used an it's efficiency and some other things, you can kinda figure out about how powerful a vacuum is. Some Vacumes use a compressor that compressors can put out large volumes of air at low pressure and other lower volumes at high power and so when "clogged" increases vacuum as the flow decreases. Tink of a hose. a 1" dia. hose at 100 psi will move x amount of water. If the hose were 10" in dia, you would only need 10 psi to get the same flow. Pressure/vacuum and flow are very different. I need to get around to making some comparison videos that explain the processes involved so people can make a more educated decision. For instance, Dyson uses very efficient BLDC's and well made compressors to create vacuum, had they used a brushed AC motor and a compressor that was sloppily machined, the result would be a vauum that is ineffective.

    Nice video the vac master beast is a great vacuum and yeah the Craftsman are pretty much clones but the 120 CFM 4.0 gallon 6 hp Rigid definitely is more powerful than the old 5 hp model u have and it’s been out for over well over year. I’m not a big fan of it being a detachable blower but it does have its uses. I rather it be a more solid and durable footprint where the motor isn’t detachable like the 5.0 hp model u have but some vehicles may need to be blown out prior to vacuuming and cleaning. I do suggest u try the 6hp 120 CFM blower/vac 4.0 gallon Rigid It’s $100 with a bunch of accessories. Also I think u should only use the premium heavy duty orange and black Rigid vacuum hose ur using during ur testing instead of the cheaper black ones they lose a lot of suction in comparison as they start to wear and they wear fast. You will get better and faster results using that premium 1 1/4” hose all the time …

      You’re right in a way but, nah. They don’t compare. Being mobile, I don’t ever seeing the benefit of a little more suction vs the extremely compromising size, weight, noise, wheels (which risk collisions) and then cost. Pretty sure it’s not expensive and it’s worth every penny but in my situation, and I would assume for most people, the bigger cans aren’t worth the extra headaches of a full sized shop vac. There’s a reason vacuums marketed toward detailing are almost all in that 3-6gal range and squeeze a 4-6hp motor on it. As for detailing, especially mobile, it’s a definitive no. I’ve seen people use bigger vacs on skid with a hose reel. Super convenient but now they have a 50’ hose with compromised suction. Physics.
