Transfer switch for parallel generators

This shows a novel way to parallel two predator 9500 inverter generators safely and connect to load via a service rated whole house transfer switch.
Note this will not work with other non inverter generators as they cannot self synchronize.

Bryan - this is brilliant. I would like to do this where I can parallel two (or three generators) in a subpanel. Question is would this be to code or would a city inspector frown upon this?

how did you blow the inverter

Starting the generator loaded (shown @ 10:06) may have had something to do with it. It's always good practice to start/shut off your generator unloaded to not only prevent damage to your sensitive electronics but also your generator.
