    Thank you, I was going to parallel my Champion 4650 watt with my Predator 2000 watt now I hope I can do this properly lol.

    Excellent video! ... Just a tip, remove as much background noise as you can before filming. 👌

    Thank you! This is pretty useful. My main question was if I can parallel generators from different brands and I’m quite happy to have answer “yes”
    Actually, very short video and very good content. Thanks

      After parallel, can I use cable with AC 120V 20amp outlet instead of 30amp outlet?

      Well our parent company just delivered a 3.6 MW which paralleled (6) 600 kWs into one huge unit.

    Sorry. If the two generators are of the same wattage. Will the power actually double?

    Can I parallel connect a Westinghouse igen4500 & igen2500 together and instead of a 30A@120V, convert it to a 30A@220V outlet so to run my 220V water well pump? Is there a work around to this? Great info video!

    Check out the Genmax parallel kit. You can connect up to 3 generators togerher.

    Here's a question...
    I have a 17500W/26250W Generac with a 30A and a 50A outlet, but not a single combined outlet to serve the full capacity of the generator.
    I do not know if there are two power "take-offs" from a single winding or two separate windings built into the same generator head, but if they are both being driving by the same engine, then it would seem to me that I would only be concerned with matching phase.
    Of course, I'm not an electrical engineer, or even an electrician, so I may be thinking wrong.
    Either way, I don't know how to synch two different phases.

    Why does Honda say you cannot parallel two different size generators? I parallel a Honda eu2000 with the Honda eu2200 which works great for me.

    Do the regular 110VAC outets on the parallel configured generators also have extra power?

    • @generatormart4631
      @generatormart4631  Місяць тому +1

      @@paulkomorita4024 think of paralleling as stacking power bars but the outlets remain the same. Only thing that changes is the kit cord bumps to a larger AMP rating.

    What do I need to parallel a 2500watt champion and a 4500 watt champion to run my 50amp rv - champion’s parallel kit says 2800watt and higher for the 50amp RV parallel connector they sell - please advise - thanks

    Nice video. Thank you. The one question no one addresses. When you parrilell 2 generators, do you actually double the power, or do you just increase the power by a certain %? If so, what would that % be? Thank you.

    • @generatormart4631
      @generatormart4631  10 місяців тому

      Simple answer yes but for best performance really adding 4500 and a 4500 you should still run it about 80%.

    How does the synchronisation work here? What if my Volts and Hertz do not match ?

    • @generatormart4631
      @generatormart4631  2 місяці тому

      We are all 60 Hz in US. Small generator will parallel with a bigger generator to add power-- as long as they are paralleled-able.

    can you tell me how to bypass the co sensor on the genmax 9000ied. it trips the co sensor in open air and i am trying to determine if it is the co sensor is bad before i spend money on a new one. thanks

      I'm guessing you mean Generac? I would reach out to them directly on that one. I know you are trouble shooting but not a good idea to do that regardless-- I bet they have a test. I will let them give you a better test method. 1-888-Generac (436-3722) or www.generac.com/support/.

    Do both have to be running?

  • @sergioflores7169
    @sergioflores7169 Рік тому

    Okay, when you parallel two different sized generators, what is happening with the load? Is it being split evenly? Or does the bigger generator carry more of the load? I have been told that the smaller/weaker generator of the two will limit your power output. If that is true then matching power output on both generators would give you max power.

    • @generatormart4631
      @generatormart4631  Рік тому +1

      Yes I’m short it will pull more from the bigger unit after the smaller one maxes out. So a 4500 and a 2500… the 4500 will help you hit 7000 max. No stop at 2500 like the smaller one.

    • @sergioflores7169
      @sergioflores7169 Рік тому +1

      @@generatormart4631 Just to clarify, you get max starting watts from both different sized generators when connected. The load is balanced between the two so that both generators are working at the same percentage, is that correct? For example, both small and large generator are working at 50% capacity in tandem, balancing the load (not splitting it even). 50% capacity of small gen and 50% capacity of large gen ( The big gen would produce more power at 50% so it would carry more of the load).

    • @generatormart4631
      @generatormart4631  Рік тому +1

      @@sergioflores7169 correct my experts say the larger unit will go above the smaller unit’s capacity so you get more than the 50/50 split to make say 7000 with a 2500 and a 4500 when paralleled.
